Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business

According to a new report, sex tape alums Danielle Staub and Ray J are an item!

Danielle 48, former star of the Real Housewives of New Jersey was snapped kissing the R & B singer/VH1 reality star/Kim Kardashian’s ex who is 18 years her junior. The two pictured above at the grand opening of the Lemon Basket restaurant last Wednesday were spotted kissing at the same event.

No word yet on when we can expect a new sex tape from these two but the photo of the kiss is below!

In other news, Danielle, who is set to star on VH1′s upcoming reality show Famous Food, is now speaking out once again against her former costar Teresa Giudice. In a brief interview with Rumor Fix, Danielle reveals she is not surprised Teresa got into a bar brawl and reportedly got punched in the face.

“I’m not shocked at all” said Danielle of Teresa’s involvement in the bar brawl.”She’s an animal.”

Meanwhile, Danielle’s former costar Caroline Manzo is speaking out against her via an interview with Life & Style magazine, explaining why she decided to shun Danielle at the last reunion of the NJ Housewives. If you recall, Danielle attempted to call a truce with Caroline, who refused to hug her.

“I knew she wasn’t sorry,” Caroline tells Life & Style of the shocking moment. “I wasn’t about to let her end the show on a fake positive note. I refused to give her that moment.”

Caroline added that Danielle hasn’t lived up to her promise as she continues to bad mouth her former costars. “During the finale, Danielle offered to stop the war of words,” Caroline states. “But she’s still talking about everyone. She broke her promise. Things have not changed with her one bit. She’s the same person now that she’s always been, and I want nothing to do with her.”

And finally, Danielle also tells E! News that the ratings of the new season will go down the drain without her. “It’s not going to have the ratings,” she said. “I brought the [drama]. People either loved me or hated me, but they were paying attention. This [season] is just full out nasty family fighting. Everyone’s got that. Where’s the element of surprise there?”

VH1 Shows - Shaunie O'Neal, Chilli, and Brandy

Good news for VH1 fans, the network has decided to renew some of their Sunday night hit shows for a second season.

VH1 announced this week that it has renewed Basketball Wives, What Chilli Wants, and Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business for a season two. The shows have all proven to be a big hit for the network. Part of the press release is below -

“VH1 announced today that its latest hit series Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business, Basketball Wives and What Chilli Wants have all been picked up for second seasons.”

“VH1 viewers connected strongly with these three new series this year, and we’re so happy that we can continue to share these real-life stories from the worlds of music and celebrity. Will Chilli really ever let down her guard in her quest for love? How well will Brandy and Ray J step up in their family business? And how will the Basketball Wives move forward in their complicated lives? We’re looking forward to answering those questions in their next cycles,” said Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President, Original Programming & Production, VH1.”

The finales of Basketball Wives and What Chilli Wants airs tonight at 10PM and 10:30PM, respectively. Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business will finale on Sunday, June 27 at 9PM. A reunion is also being filmed for the Basketball Wives, and that will air Sunday, June 20 at 10PM.

Thoughts on the shows: Basketball Wiveshas been pretty interesting to watch. It rivals the drama of the Bravo Housewives’ franchises. Similar to Bravo Housewives, the show will also be expanding and Football Wives is set to debut sometime this year. The only bad thing about this show is there are really no likable characters. Evelyn and Jennifer are both drama queens who need to get off their holier than thou attitudes. Evelyn spent most of the season picking on Royce only to have nude photos of her leaked online. I can’t decide if I like Suzie or find her annoying, Royce is okay, and I guess I actually like Gloria and her FU attitude.

What Chilli WantsI was a bit surprised to see Chilli is somewhat of a prima donna. I thought she was over the top mean to some of her dates at times. Tionna Smalls is also a bit annoying to watch, and borderline obnoxious at times. While Chilli can be a handful at times, Tionna needs to learn how to be professional at all times and learn how to deal with personalities like Chilli if she wants to do this professionally. It’s however nice to see Chilli finally connect with Farmer D and Bill. Wonder who she will pick.

Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business – When I first heard of this show, I was certain it was going to be a boring show, but I’ve been quite surprised at how interesting it has been. I think the reason the show has been great is because the family was very open and honest about their lives. Letting the viewers in on the real drama going on in the family has made for great TV.
