It was double eviction week last Thursday on Big Brother13, as two of the strongest players left in the game were voted out.
Veterans Danielle Donato and Jeff Schroeder were evicted, joining fellow veteran Brendon Villegas in the jury house. In new interviews, both Danielle and Jeff speak out on their evictions, what they would have done differently and their thoughts on being able to play the game twice.
Below are excerpts from Danielle’s interview with Reality Wanted -
Q. RealityWanted: What prompted to you to turn on your alliance with the veterans so early in the game? A. Daniele: I knew that Jeff was going to be really hard to get out later on in the game. I had a really tight alliance with Brendon and Rachel. They were the perfect alliance member because they were strong competitors and huge targets. I knew that with Dominic the four of us could run the house. Period. Also, Brendon and Jeff walked around the house just bullying everyone, including me. I didn’t want any part of that. I am my own person and wanted to make my own moves and not base things on what Brendon and Jeff told me what to do.
Q. RealityWanted: Did you expect to be backdoored by Jeff? He has said in the past that that’s not how he plays. A. Daniele: Jeff walks around that house preaching integrity and honesty. The reason I didn’t backdoor Jeff was because he accused me of attacking him on a personal level in week three in trying to back door him. I wanted to prove that it wasn’t personal. The only reason he backdoored me was because he held a personal grudge and wanted to make a big move.
Q. RealityWanted: Your relationships with Kalia and Porsche seem genuine. Are they friendships that you will carry outside of the game? A. Daniele: I never came into this house expecting A. to make friends and B. to make friends with girls. I cannot wait to have real friendships with these people outside of the house. Kalia and Porsche are both amazing women. Those friendships were real and they will last forever.
Q. RealityWanted: What was the best part about getting to play the game a second time? A. Daniele: I think the best part is knowing what I’m getting myself into and being able to appreciate the whole experience more.
Below are excerpts from Jeff’s interview with Reality Wanted -
Q. RealityWanted: What was the fight this week with Shelly about? Is it because she told Rachel that you threw the cornhole challenge? A. Jeff: It was just to call Shelly out. She made three deals with other people in the house. That might have been my demise, but it happened the way it happened. I wasn’t scared of anyone in the house, but ultimately, that was my demise. Either way, I’m out and they are in.
Q. RealityWanted: Are you surprised that she suddenly turned on your alliance? A. Jeff: Shocked. I thought I would be friends with Shelly after the game – and I want to say that it is all just a game – but for Shelly to do something like that really hurt. Right now, it stings, but we’ll see how I feel at the finale.
Q. RealityWanted: Playing a week’s worth of Big Brother in one night might be great television but it seems pretty terrible if you’re a player and end up on the wrong side of things. Could things have gone differently if tonight’s events took place over the course of a week? A. Jeff: I don’t know what I could have done to prepare even if I had known, but I definitely would not have had it out with Shelly yesterday.
In other BB news, TMZ is reporting today that Shelly Moore’sfamily has met with the FBI over the death threats they had been receiving following Jeff’s eviction. Some deranged fans were apparently leaving frightening calls and emails for Shelly’s loved ones.
Fortunately, the FBI has determined that none of the threats were “credible.” Sources close to Shelly’s family also reveal that the threats have essentially stopped in the last couple of days. Good.
And finally, a new live eviction episode of Big Brother airs tonight on CBS. HOH Porsche was forced to put up two of her own alliance members after opening up the Pandora box and unleashing the pairs twist back on the house. Up for eviction are Shelly and Adam. It appears Shelly will be the one getting the boot unless she is able to pull off a last minute miracle. The episode airs tonight at 9/8c.
TELL US – THOUGHTS ON JEFF AND DANIELLE’S INTERVIEWS? WHO DO YOU WANT TO SEE GO HOME TONIGHT?
According to TMZ, some deranged fans have decided to start sending death threats to the family of Shelly Moore. While Shelly wasn’t the one who nominated fan favorite Jeff or ultimately voted him out after the tie, she did betray her alliance with Big Jeff by voting for him.
Sources close to Shelly reveal her family has received multiple phone calls from people threatening violence and even making threats against her 8-year-old daughter. Disgusting.
The threats are not ending with Shelly’s family as her employer has also been receiving harassing phone calls from fans demanding they fire her because of the way she voted on the show.
Shelly’s family is reportedly taking the threats very seriously and are preparing to get the FBI involved. Good. Now I’m no fan of Sneaky Snake Shelly but threatening her family or anyone for that matter is beyond deranged.
Big Brother’s Executive Producer Allison Grodner also spoke out via twitter to condemn the threats: “No matter how much you dislike an HG, this is wrong! True BB fans do not try to ruin lives. Please stop!”
TELL US – THOUGHTS ON THIS NEWS? IS SHELLY YOUR LEAST FAVORITE BB HG?
Bringing you the latest spoilers and updates in the Big Brother 13 house!
On Thursday’s live episode, which might or might not have been the best episode yet this season, we saw two of the veterans get evicted.
Danielle was the first HG to be evicted on the double eviction episode after giving a pseudo epic speech. Immediately following Danielle’s eviction, a new HOH competition was played and Kalia came out victorious! As expected, she nominated Jeff and Rachel.
In what no one could have predicted, Porsche ended up winning the POV! What a time for Porsche to come alive. The nominations stayed the same, Jeff ended up leaving the BB house and boy oh boy, he did not take it well. Love Jeff but he came off as a bit of a sore loser.
Following the double eviction, there were some breakdowns, tears, fights and most importantly, a new HOH competition. Below, find out the new HOH winner, the new nominees, Rachel’s pregnancy scare, & the new twist!

Brendon, who was voted back into the house by America, was ultimately backdoored by Danielle who was also responsible for his first ousting. In a new interview with Digital Spy, Brendon discusses what it felt like to return to the BB house, the players he thinks are floaters, and whether or not he feels Danielle is playing a smart game. Excerpts are below -
Having just come back in the house last week, how much tougher was it to leave this week in comparison to the first time around?
“Sadly, it was probably easier to leave the second time because I felt more comfortable leaving Rachel in the house. It was just more frustrating because I didn’t have a chance to compete for the Power of Veto.”
Where do you think things went wrong with the veteran alliance?
“Daniele turned on us way too soon and wanted the glory all for herself.”
During your final speech you spoke a lot about the floaters left in the game. Who in particular do you feel isn’t pulling his or her weight?
“Porsche, Shelly and Jordan are definitely at the top of the list followed [closely] by Kalia and Adam.”
Do you believe that Rachel really has a chance to win even though she’s up against a whole house of people who want her out?
“I think that Rachel making it to the final two is more improbable than not, but I have no doubt that she will spend every remaining moment in the house fighting as hard as she can.”
You attempted to make a deal with Daniele, which she seemed to accept. Did you have faith in that arrangement or did you always assume she might back out of it?
“I always thought in the back of my head that if Daniele had the chance to get rid of me she would. I knew that she was always afraid that if I was up on the block that I would be able to win the Power of Veto and be able to pull myself off.”
Besides Rachel, who do you think is playing a smart game in the house?
“I think Daniele is playing a smart game by keeping herself in the middle as much as she can, but she is naive to think that she is not the biggest target in the house as soon as I left.”
In other Big Brother news, Will Kirby, one of the best players to play the game?, is now engaged to his long-term girlfriend!
Will, winner of Big Brother season 2, confirmed his engagement to girlfriend of six years and mother of his 15-month-old son, Erin Brodie (For Love or Money winner). “I’m so fortunate to be in a relationship with Erin,” Will told PEOPLE. “I’m thrilled to now open the next chapter of our lives together.”
Moving on to tonight’s episode of Big Brother in which either Danielle or Kalia will be sent packing. It’s not looking too good for Danielle, who was backdoored by Jeff this week. The live eviction episode airs tonight at 9/8c. And oh yeah, tonight is also a double live eviction! The HGs are not aware of this as they suspect this will happen next week.
TELL US – THOUGHTS ON BRENDON’S INTERVIEW & TONIGHT’S EPISODE? DO YOU WANT DANIELLE TO STAY OR GO?
Following his eviction in theBig Brotherhouse last week, Lawon Exum’s decision, to not only have himself nominated but also evicted from the game in other to get “special powers” that didn’t exist, will arguably go down as the worst game play in the show’s history.
In a new interview with Digital Spy, the 39-year-old legal clerk expresses a lot of regret as he tries to explain his thought process in his decision. Lawon reveals he didn’t really consider he would have to battle an evicted HG to get back into the game and reveals the part his emotions played in his very very bad decision.
Excerpts from the interview below -
A lot of people would say you were crazy for offering to be put up for eviction. Why were you so willing to sacrifice yourself?
“Because I was playing on emotions, and I really felt that I was taking one for the team. And since I took one for the team, look where it got me. But emotions played a huge part of my reason for getting evicted.”
Did you really think you would be able to come back in the game after leaving?
“I actually thought I would be coming back into the game with some kind of power due to this being a game where you ‘expect the unexpected’. I overanalyzed it a bit and I did not expect the outcome that happened. The ‘chance’ of coming back didn’t sink in until I was out there competing in a competition. Do I regret that? Yes, of course. I was overanalyzing what the chance was to come back. If I didn’t overanalyze, I would have fought and never told Kalia she could put me up as a pawn. And you have to remember, when you are in that house, emotions are so high and so up and down that your thinking process is all over the place. You overanalyze every sentence, every word fragment that everyone says and every idea that is given to you in the house. So I really just blame myself for overanalyzing what the outcome would be if I got evicted and had the chance to come back.”
You seemed legitimately shocked after losing the chance to return to the game to Brendon. How did it feel to know that your chances had been diminished that quickly?
“Disappointed. It was very disappointing because I let myself down and was playing on such high emotions. I felt like this competition was for me to go back into the game and at that point I was disappointed at how the whole ‘chance’ for me to return to the house played out. At that moment, I was shocked and disappointed at myself.”
You were accused by some of the other players in the house of being a “floater”. Was this part of your game plan, to try not to make too many enemies for as long as you could?
“Yes! It was my plan initially to not make any enemies in the house so I could strategically plan a strong alliance and learn who was targeting me, and who was not targeting me.”
What did you imagine the task would be that would allow you to return to the house? Would you ever have considered that you would need to compete against a past evictee?
“Overanalyzing it, I thought the chance would be a special power. It didn’t come to my mind that I would have to compete against another housemate until the moment Julie told me not to leave the house yet. I did not think it would be a competition or anything like that. I was thinking of past seasons and different twists, and I hadn’t thought of this. Daniele did, at the last minute, suggest this could happen.”
Shelly said that she could tell you were lying about not having volunteered to be sent home. Why did you think that putting on the act was necessary?
“I thought it was necessary because Shelly was up in the room when I told Kalia that whatever she had to do, she could put me up as a pawn to further herself in the game. But in the end it bit me in the butt.”
And tonight, an all new live eviction episode of Big Brother airs on CBS at 9/8c. Following Adam’s POV win, Brendon, who just returned to the house, finds himself on the chopping block yet again. While Jeff would like to keep Brendon, so he can continue to remain the big target in the house thus taking away attention from himself, the other HGs seem ready to vote him out! We will find out tonight if Brendon can manage to survive this week. Also nominated alongside Brendon is professional Sneaky Snake Shelly.
TELL US – LAWON’S DECISION: WORST BIG BROTHER MOVE EVER? THOUGHTS ON TONIGHT’S SHOW? WHO ARE YOU ROOTING FOR?
In a complete shocker, evicted HG Brendon Villegas received the most votes (the poll results are below) and was able to battle Lawon to return to the house. Really America? Brendon garnering the most votes was all the more shocking since every poll I’d seen online had Cassie in the lead, our poll included.
Rachel’s man of course won against Lawon and returned to the BB house, thus finally proving what we knew all along – which is that Lawon made the dumbest move in Big Brother history.
Following Brendon’s return, an HOH competition was played. Below is the new HOH winner, the shocking nominees and POV winner!
