In a new interview with Digital Spy, the 30-year-old swimming coach talks about his fiance Rachel Reilly…of course, he also touches on his alliances in the game, what he would have done differently, and his unfinished business in the Big Brother house. Excerpts from Brendon’s interview below -
Had you been the one to stay over Jordan, would you really have tried to mend your relationship with Daniele and possibly work with her again or was that suggestion just for show?
“No, I would have sent Daniele home 100 percent. I would never have trusted her in the game. Especially with the opportunity she was presented in not having to do anything while our alliance fought to stay in the game.”
The veterans really seemed to take control of the house in the first few weeks before it all crumbled. Where do you think the veteran alliance went wrong?
“The veteran alliance went wrong with Daniele. She is so burdened by living in the shadow of Evel Dick that she couldn’t be satisfied with just playing with other people. She had to make her mark by being the manipulator and having the game center around her.”
What would you have done differently, if anything, if you had to play again?
“I would consider not having told Jeff and Jordan about the plan Daniele was hatching and kind of let it ride out because it more than likely would have gotten Rachel and I to the jury house.”
Besides Rachel, who did you really see yourself going to the end with? Would you have continued to honor your alliance with Jeff and Jordan?
“Besides Rachel, there was no one person that I really trusted 100 percent in the game. Even with Jeff and Jordan, I knew that Jeff really wanted to make it to the end and that he would turn his back on us in the end if he needed to.”
Do you feel as though you’re done with the show now, or do you still have some unfinished business?
“I am not done with it at this point because Rachel is still in the game. But after this season, I am looking forward to putting Big Brother behind us and continuing on with our lives.”
Meanwhile, a live eviction episode of Big Brother airs tonight on CBS at 9/8c. Tonight’s episode will be different as one of the evicted HGs will return to the game!
On the block for eviction are Rachel and Lawon (who volunteered to go up on the block and even asked to be voted out!). Lawon definitely put himself in the running for the dumbest choice made by a Big Brother HG ever. Lawon apparently believes if he is evicted and gets to return to the game, he will receive some special BB powers. Wowzers!
Rachel or Lawon will go head to head tonight with one of the previously eliminated HGs (Keith, Cassie, Dominic, or Brendon). As we reported last week, polls showed Cassie was garnering most of the fan votes, with Dominic coming in a close second. Our poll is below so let us know who you would like to see return to the Big Brother house!
TELL US – THOUGHTS ON BRENDON’S INTERVIEW? WAS LAWON’S CHOICE STUPID OR VERY STUPID? WHO DO YOU WANT TO SEE RETURN TO THE GAME?
In what appears to be a trend to eliminate the strong members of the Newbie alliance on Big Brother, 25-year-old Dominic Briones found himself the latest Houseguest to be voted out.
In a new interview with DigitalSpy, Dominic reveals his true feelings about Danielle, whether he regrets aligning with her, and of course what he would have done differently in the game. Excerpts from his interview below -
You shared a flirty relationship with Daniele – if you’d stayed longer, would you ever have taken that further or was it more of a friendship than anything else?
“No, I would have not taken it further in the house because in there you can’t tell how someone really is. Although Daniele seemed like a great person in the house, you never can tell how people really are while you are in there.”
If you could play the game again, would you do anything differently?
“Play with the veterans sooner and not stick with the newbies during the first two weeks of the game. I would have aligned with the vets and started cutting newbies from the beginning.”
You accused your fellow newbies of being “spineless jellyfish” as they’ve yet to make bold moves. Do you wish that you would have kept a lower profile for the first few weeks in the hope of seeming like less of a threat?
“Yes, if it was possible to keep a lower profile with the group of newbies that were there I definitely would have done so. But coming into the game just being a young, athletic male partnered with another male made me a target from day one.”
You were going to go along with the plan to backdoor Jeff, but did you really see him as your biggest competitor in the game? If not him, who posed the biggest threat?
“No, I saw Brendon and Rachel as the biggest competitors in the game. But you never want to take out the number one targets because that makes you the biggest target. So taking out Jeff would have split up the veteran alliance and given me a chance to actually gain some numbers and some power.”
Moving on to tonight’s new episode when the new twist will finally be revealed by host Julie Chen! And just as suspected, it is indeed to bring back one of the eliminated HGs! There was a slight glitch on the CBS website yesterday which showed fans the new twist. While CBS has since deleted the link, a screenshot (posted below) was captured by “Big Brother” fan site Hamster.
This twist is however different from past similar twists. The viewers will vote for one of the soon to be four eliminated HGs to return to the game (Keith, Cassi, Dominic, or Jordan/Brendon). Whoever receives the most viewer votes will then have to go up against next week’s eliminated HG in some sort of challenge. Whoever wins that challenge will be back in the game! According to a poll done by BigBrotherLeak, Cassi is leading the votes on who fans want to see back in the game followed closely by Dominic. Brendon was also added to the poll and is coming in third. Will America vote the same way? Will be interesting!
And finally, Big Brother alum Mike “Boogie” Malin finds himself in some legal hot water today as one of his business partners, Shereene Arazm, is claiming Mike and his other business partner, VH1 reality star Lonnie Moore, “illegally siphoned away [money]” from the Geisha House, LLC restaurant group for years in order to “support their lavish party-boy lifestyles.”
The shocker however comes when Shereene alleges in the suit that Mike Boogie not only gambled away a lot of that money but also used some of it “to have multiple sexual encounters with various older men during which Malin would live out fetish role play fantasies.” Holy cow! Did she just out Mike Boogie? That would explain why he wanted nothing to do with Erica during the all star season no?
As for Mike, he filed his own lawsuit earlier this week alleging Shereene was trying to extort and blackmail him. Mike also claims Shereene had people hack into his emails and illegally tap his phone. Wowzers.
TELL US – THOUGHTS ON DOMINIC’S INTERVIEW, THE NEW TWIST AND THE LAWSUIT AGAINST MIKE BOOGIE?
It has been a very busy last 2 days in theBig Brotherhouse as a new HOH was crowned on the live feeds, and two of the Houseguests were nominated yesterday!
When the live show ended on Thursday all of the HGs, with the exception of Rachel, were participating in the endurance competition — something the Veteran alliance feared because they felt Danielle would excel in such a comp.
So did Danielle win or did one of the Veterans win? Let’s face it; the newbies are pretty useless at this point in the game. Well the spoilers are below.

Big Brother 13′s Cassi Colvin found herself on the chopping block after the Veteran alliance, well mostly Rachel, decided she was a threat.
And perhaps they were right. Unlike most players who play the Big Brother game, Cassi was loyal to her alliance till the end, unwilling to tell the others what they wanted to hear and even refused to campaign against her partner Shelly to stay in the game. Not surprisingly, Cassi was evicted from the BB13 house last Thursday in an unanimous vote.
In a new interview with DigitalSpy, Cassi reveals if she really thinks Rachel is jealous of her, why she refused to campaign against Shelly (she’s not aware Shelly back stabbed the alliance) and reveals what she would have done differently. Excerpts from her interview below -
There was a lot of discussion about girls in the house being jealous of your looks. Do you think that’s what was really behind Rachel’s dislike for you?
“Honestly, that belief was brought to my attention several times and I was the last to give any credit to that being the case. I think Rachel’s biggest issue with me is that I am a girl [who's] comfortable in my own skin and happy with who I am on the inside when I don’t think she has found herself yet. Also, I think she was intimidated because she knew that I wouldn’t be her minion because of the Brenchal union or her experience in the game. I feel that I was the most independent newbie, the one least likely to let their promises of safety throw me off guard and make me easy to sway – I have my own mind.”
You said that you didn’t feel you could campaign against Shelly because you two had become so close. Do you feel that relationship was worth potentially giving up $500k?
“Shelly and I always said it was our worst nightmare to be put on the block together. We hoped to make it through the duos and golden key period intact. She was the only person in the house that my trust in never wavered with. Because I respect and adore her so much, I had nothing negative to say about her. Any speaking I did on my behalf after nominations was never to portray myself as a better option to keep in the house but only to remind people of what I had to offer in the game. I feel pretty confident that my pleas would have been to no avail because from a gameplay standpoint at this point in time, I am the bigger threat. I don’t think my campaigning or lack thereof affected my chance at the prize and I still left with my integrity and no regrets.”
If given another chance to play the game, would you have done anything differently?
“As cautious as I was from day one with what I said and who I said it to, I definitely could have been more tightlipped. I think a lot of the newbies recognized that I was ready to play from the start because I was so outspoken and honest. This made it easy for me to become the scapegoat for the things we were all feeling.”
The newbie alliance seemed pretty solid in the beginning but crumbled soon after, with two members flipping over to the other side in the first week. What do you think went wrong there?
“Although unspoken, the line was clearly drawn coming into the house with new versus old players and unfortunately rather than the newbies realizing that this was a golden opportunity to use our number advantage to our benefit, they cowered to intimidation because of the veterans’ experience in the game and relationship with one another outside of the house.”
You attempted to align yourself with the veterans after the first elimination. Is this something you always imagined you’d have to do at some point in the game or was going to the other side just a last-ditch effort to stay in the game?
“The veterans actually approached Shelly and I with the proposal of keeping one another safe. In my mind, it was never an alliance nor did I have any intention with aligning with the veterans as a whole. For me, it was simply a deal to keep Shelly and I safe for the time being, hence why I encouraged other newbies to put Brendon and Rachel up because they were the biggest threat in the game and it wasn’t an option for myself because my word is my word. But further on down the road, I would have been interested in aligning with Jeff and Jordan.”
A live eviction episode of Big Brother will air tonight on CBS at 9/8c during which host Julie Chen will reveal a new twist! As we reported last week, the eliminated HGs are being sequestered. When you add in Evel Dick’searly departure, it’s all but certain there will be a twist to bring back one of the evicted HGs.
Up for eviction tonight are Dominic and Adam. And thanks to Danielle’s shenanigans and all around bad game play, it’s all but certain Dominic will get the boot. Dominic is however not giving up just yet as he is trying to sway the newbie votes (Kalia, Shelly and Porsche) his way. He seems to have Kalia’s vote but will Shelly, who claims to be feeling very guilty for backstabbing her alliance, and Porsche vote for him to stay? We will find out tonight. Once again, here’s to hoping a newbie wins tonight’s HOH so there is a desperately needed shift of power in the house!
TELL US – THOUGHTS ON CASSIE’S INTERVIEW & TONIGHTS EPISODE? WHO ARE YOU ROOTING FOR TO STAY? DOMINIC OR ADAM?
Following another HOH win by the Veteran alliance, even worse Rachel was the winner, we have still yet to experience a power shift in the BB house. And not surprisingly, Dominic and Adam continued to be targets as evident by their nominations.
Below, spoilers on the veto competition, the winner, whether it was used and most importantly, which returning HG is causing drama in the house! Hint – it ain’t Rachel!

It was a classic case of playing too hard too quickly, or was it more his cockiness? Either way, Keith Henderson found himself the first houseguest to be voted out of Big Brotherseason 13.
Keith’s elimination came as a complete surprise to him as he was so confident about his safety to the point that he decided to throw the veto competition… during the first week of the game. In a new interview with TV Guide, the 32-year-old youth pastor reveals what he would have done differently, who he thinks voted him out, and answers if he is a hypocrite for, you know, being a youth pastor and a horndog. Excerpts from Keith’s interview below -
TVGuide.com: Why did you choose to partner with Porsche?
Keith: Porsche is hot. She is also a physical competitor. [And] I thought she would be able to manipulate the guys. “Keith’s Angels” was still in the back of my mind when I picked her.
TVGuide.com: Can you better explain how your “Keith’s Angels” strategy was supposed to work? Do you think it would have worked if not for the “dynamic duos” twist?
Keith: Yes, it would have worked. The strategy was to align with three girls [and] use the girls to manipulate the guys — play with emotion, lie, get the blood on their hands — until we eliminated all of the guys and it was just us left.
TVGuide.com: So do you regret throwing the veto competition?
Keith: I do regret throwing it because my alliance didn’t have my back!
TVGuide.com: Right, you told Julie after your eviction that you “got played.” Who do you think voted against you?
Keith: [I think] Dominic and Cassi voted against me. [Ed. note:Shelly and Kalia were the deciding votes. Both Dominic and Cassi voted to evict Porsche.]I wasn’t surprised. I figured it out a day in advance when I told them to tell the veterans how we were voting and they wouldn’t do it.
TVGuide.com: Some people might think it’s odd or hypocritical for a Deacon to be so actively chasing after women…
Keith: It’s not odd or hypocritical. I am a single guy, and I firmly believe that God wants us to find our wife. How can I find one if I am not actively looking?
Judging from the interview, it appears Keith is still being sequestered despite his eviction aka the Big Brother producers might be planning a twist to bring back one of the evicted HGs.
Tonight, a live episode of Big Brother airs on CBS at 9/8c during which another HG will be evicted. On the chopping block are Cassie and Shelly, and it is not looking good for Cassie as Shelly is working with the alum alliance in addition to the fact that Rachel is jealous of not a fan of Cassie. Whatever happens with the eliminations, here’s to hoping one of the newbies will win HOH tonight bringing some excitement and unpredictability to the game. I will admit this week hasn’t been all that bad with Rachel‘s antics and Dominic winning the POV.
TELL US – THOUGHTS ON KEITH’S INTERVIEW? ARE YOU ROOTING FOR CASSIE OR SHELLY?
We’re only two weeks into the current season of Big Brother 13 and already, it has become a lackluster season.
Similar to the big failure of the “Saboteur” twist last season during which the Saboteur was the first Houseguest evicted, the twist this season of the returning “dynamic duos” is turning out to be one big ball of fail.
As I’ve stated on numerous occasions, Big Brother might just be my favorite reality show of all time, yes, I like it even more than the Housewives, okay maybe just slightly more. The show is simply genius and manages to captivate fans year after year with crazy twists and even crazier characters. So when it was revealed this season that some of the popular past HGs would be returning, I and others were filled with glee! However the show premiered and just two weeks in, it’s become predictable, lackluster and I find myself wishing the returning HGs had never returned. My reasons are below -
The Dick Factor - While I’m no fan of Evel Dick, he was arguably the most entertaining, combative, and explosive player on the cast this season. Matter of fact in the history of Big Brother. His return was met with cheers from both fans and non-fans of his. Love him or hate him, you knew he was going to make this season one to watch. However, Evel Dick’s run in the BB13 house was short lived. As in he had already left the house by the time the show premiered on Thursday, July 7. Even worse, ED was not replaced and instead his daughter, the slightly annoying Danielle, was given a golden key guaranteeing her safety for 4 weeks. Even much worse, no explanation was given for Dick’s departure. Seriously, the viewers deserved an explanation. It’s the least Big Brother could do after his abrupt exit.
The Returning HGs - Once again, this twist sounded great in theory but my feelings started to change once the returning HGs (Jeff and Jordan, Brendon and Rachel, Evel Dick and Danielle) actually re-entered the house. Something about the return just felt a bit like deja vu, sort of like a been there done that feeling probably because they had been there and done that. As expected, Jeff and Jordan were still as adorable as ever while Brendon and Rachel were still as annoying as ever. Evel Dick and Danielle were no longer on speaking terms which was not surprising and felt very 2007. With the returning HGs, we are missing out on the magic that came out of their first appearances. Seeing Jeff and Jordan connecting on the show, possibly falling in love was a one time deal as well as seeing Brenchel connecting on the most ridiculous things. Plus having to see Evel Dick and Danielle try to mend their relationship… again with ED carrying Dani all the way to the end… again would have been pretty boring and uneventful. And isn’t it interesting that even in ED’s absence, he’s still carrying Danielle further in the game?
The New Houseguests – This brings me to the new HGs who I now find myself rooting for at all costs. Why? Well because they are now the underdogs in the game. In addition to the fact that it’s really unfair to pit the newbies against some of the best players to play the game. After all, Jordan and ED are past winners while the other returning HGs made it pretty far in their respective seasons. While the poor newbies pretended to be excited upon hearing Julie Chen’s announcement of the twist, you could clearly see in their eyes that they were none too pleased to be sharing their season and chances at half a million dollars with others who already had their chance. And just as expected, the returning HGs banded together to form a tight alliance and have been mercilessly kicking the butts of the newbies. Let’s face it, did they ever really stand a chance? And despite the newbies being stupid, not being able to stick together, and being amateurs at the game (well this is their first time playing), it’s gotten to the point where I find myself hopelessly rooting for them, and hoping they pick off the returning HGs, even Jeff and Jordan – both of whom I happen to love, one by one.
The All Star Season? – With the return of the 6 HGs this season, what does this mean for a future BB all star season? The first and last all star season was season 7 which would lead any rational fan to believe season 14 (next year) would make the second all star season. By bringing back the HGs this year, does this mean they won’t appear on next year’s all star? Better yet, what does this twist mean for next year’s all star? Is that even in the works? As a devoted BB fan, I can only hope! As the first all star season was one of the best BB seasons yet. Can you imagine an all star season with Jeff, Jordan, Brendon, Rachel, Evel Dick, Danielle, and other great players? Now that would have been something to watch! But by bringing these players back this year, Big Brother might have inadvertently ruined what could have been a phenomenal all star season 14.
And judging from the feedback of Big Brother fans online, it seems majority of them feel the same way I do. Following Jordan’s win for HOH last Thursday, many fans started to complain about the predictability of this season.
The Reality Blurred blog summed it up best – “Dominic seems like he has some game in him, so I was disappointed when he lost HOH and Jordan won. Her win makes me significantly less interested in the next week of competition because the returnees remain in control. The show and game work best when power flips, but this win plus this season’s structure means there’s little chance of that.”
Some of the comments from BB fans on twitter are below -
“[The newbies] are more like superfans than players,” tweeted TammyRene_.
“The show is predictable b/c we’ve seen the vets play before, we knw all their moves..so it’s like wtf step ur game up newbies,” tweeted IamJerves.
“Gonna be a boring week!!! I cannot take any more of Bookie,” tweeted auroralmama.
“The veterans seem so bored and not very appreciative that they are there.” tweeted RHO_TWEETS.
I couldn’t agree more. Big Brother had better hope the newbies start winning some competitions if they plan on keeping me interested this season. Because quite frankly, a Big Brother 13 season in which the alums pick off the newbies one by one and end up making it to the final 5 will be awful to watch. They had their chances. The newbies deserve a fair chance as well.
