abby lee miller book cover

Who wouldn't want to take parenting advice from Abby Lee Miller? The recently engaged Dance Moms star is often revered for the wonderful way she treats the children in her studio. Oh, wait…well, regardless, Abby thinks she knows best, and now she's got a book coming out to prove it.

Harper Collins will be releasing Everything I Learned About Life, I Learned In Dance Class on July 15. Perfect beach read, right? Not so much! In the book, Abby explains her tough love mentality and shares her success stories. You won't be surprised to learn that her eleven-year-old protege Maddie Ziegler penned the book's forward.

Well, it's official! Abby Lee Miller is engaged. RT, dibs on recapping the Dance Moms spin-off that's sure to surround planning her big day! After months of speculation and vast amounts of Twitter love thrown back and forth, the villainous star of Lifetime's hit has confirmed that, yes, she is in fact betrothed to Michael Padula.

Wait, who? Well, according to his Twitter, Michael is an Italian actor, "voiceover king," and TV host who has a penchant for tweeting–and retweeting–all things Dance Moms. If I didn't know better, I'd say the handsome(ish) mystery man was just a major super fan…until I came across tweets about how beautiful Abby is even when her hair is up in a towel and how much he loves her.

MAKSIM CHMERKOVSKIY, MERYL DAVIS

Should have seen this one coming from a mile away! Reality TV hotheads, Abby Lee Miller and Maksim Chmerkovskiy were thrown together Monday night when Abby was a guest-judge on the ABC megahit Dancing With the Stars.

Abby Lee Miller, the star of Lifetime's Dance Moms, has become famous for her aggressive — I say mean, controlling and detrimental to children — style of teaching dance. And Maks has always been the bad boy of DWTS. So when she has some harsh words for front-runners Maks and Meryl Davis, Maks immediately shot back, telling Erin Andrews, ""I really don't care for anything she has to say."

Was anyone surprised that was his response? Really?

Real Housewives of Orange County premiere

The reality TV viewer numbers are in with two returning long-running shows on the list, 16 and Pregnant and Real Housewives of Orange County.

16 and Pregnant kicked off season five with 1.194 million viewers and RHOC's season nine premiere attracted 1.703 million fans. For comparison's sake, the most recent premieres of RHOBH and RHONY garnered 1.592 million and 1.329 million, respectively. Six weeks in, 1.259 million watched much ado about nothing on Real Housewives of New York this week.

The season six finale of Real Housewives of Atlanta attracted 3.816 million fans, bringing its season average to 3.83 million. RHOA could finish season six with a four million average if the reunion shows do well - and that's likely considering the hoopla surrounding Kenya and Porsha.

I don't know what I more saddened to learn about last night's Dance Moms…that it was ninety minutes long or that that it was the mid-season finale. Seriously, Lifetime? MID-SEASON? This season has been going on since before MacKenzie was born–at least that's how it feels! Of course, we finally got to meet the new team that Abby Lee Miller has been threatening to introduce for decades!

The super-sized episode begins with Abby returning to the studio after the death of her mother. Her dancers share their condolences, and once again, both Maddie and I are in tears. Abby cuts through the emotional moment by forging ahead with the pyramid. Chloe is on the bottom due to her fifth place solo finish, with Nia following. Kalani rounds out the bottom tier for not standing out in group number. Kendall is in the third spot for her second place solo. Maddie is in second, with MacKenzie on the top for balancing dance and her It's a Girl Party video…which, by the way, is available for download on Lifetime. Do people really buy these things?

The reality TV viewer numbers are in – 2.4 million viewers watched the season two premiere of Married to Medicine on Sunday. This is the second largest audience ever for Married to Medicine – the most watched episode was Mariah and Toya's nasty fight of course. Season one premiered to 1.89 million. Also Real Housewives of Atlanta logged its lowest audience since mid-December with 3.66 million viewers watching Porsha flake out on Kandi.

On Monday, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills secrets revealed special attracted 1.372 million fans, and 2.292 million watched Basketball Wives L.A. Meanwhile, T-Rav's dinner party on Southern Charm garnered 1.059 million viewers, which marks the first time Southern Charm passed one million viewers.

Teen Mom 2 ruled Tuesday night, as always, with 2.152 million viewers tuning in to see Nathan get arrested for DUI. An emotional episode of Dance Moms logged just 1.751 million, which is a season low and down nearly 670,000 since the season premiere in January. The mermaid parade on Real Housewives of New York attracted 1.204 million, and Bravo Ratings reported, "This is the lowest return since the third episode of their freshman season in 2008."

Last night's Dance Moms had my waterworks in full effect as Abby Lee Miller struggled with her mother's failing health. It's heartbreaking. As the episode begins, Melissa starts the water works with Abby after sharing that she'd been visiting with Mrs. Miller in hospice. Abby knows that her mother wouldn't want her moping around the nursing home, so instead she heads to the studio. The pyramid isn't going to reveal itself!

Nia is on the bottom for not being on the group routine. That's fair. Holly is furious. Kendall follows for her second place finish, and she can't even look up from the floor. Kalani is third from the bottom for minor technical issues. Kira is confused. Her daughter was part of the highest scoring duet. Clearly the girls' performance in the competitions has nothing to do with their spot on the pyramid. MacKenzie is third overall for balancing dance and her budding musical career. Chloe is second for her winning duet with Kalani. Kira's point has just been proven. Maddie is on the top for shining regardless of dancing a solo. Abby proclaims her the star of the group dance that she wasn't present to see. Abby wants to dedicate this week's competition to her mother. Both Maddie and Chloe get solos. MacKenzie won't be in the group number since she needs to focus on her music video, but Nia will be dancing with her peers…maybe. Holly wonders if Abby is taking on too much in order to escape her feelings about her mom. Why yes. Yes she is.

Bravo's Southern Charm

The reality TV viewer numbers are in – there's not much to write home about. On Sunday, Peter and Gregg's confrontation on Real Housewives of Atlanta attracted 3.943 million viewers. That's over 300,000 less than last week. Wait. I thought Peter was THE big deal on RHOA these days. #EyeRoll

On Monday,  2.133 million watched Basketball Wives L.A.,  and the Carolina Day celebration helped Southern Charm hold onto its audience of 923,000. Part three of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion garnered 1.816 million viewers, which brings the season four average to 1.827 million.

On Tuesday, 1.993 million tuned in for Dance Moms, and Jenelle's pregnancy reveal on Teen Mom 2 attracted 2.175 million viewers. The Real Housewives of New York lost viewers (that they can't afford to lose) with only 1.290 million sitting through round three of #BookGate.
