The reality TV viewer numbers are in – and Real Housewives of New Jersey failed to draw a big crowd. The season 6 premiere attracted 2.14 million viewers overall. However, in the key demo, it was the lowest rated premiere episode in the history of the show. For comparison’s sake, season 5 premiered to 2.842 million and the season 5 average was 2.29 million.
Don’t Be Tardy is back and this time the Biermanns have a six-pack of kids to make their household just a little more crazy. After the premiere Thursday night, both Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann sat down with Bravo to cover the craziness that is their lives.
Including, who makes a meaner mac and cheese, finally moving into their dream home, drinking a placenta smoothie and all those kids!
For any family of eight, mac and cheese — the blue box kind — and frozen chicken nuggets are probably a dinner time staple, and these former stars of the Real Housewives of Atlanta are no different. But the Biermanns do disagree on just who can bust out this culinary concoction better.
We kick things off with the twins arriving today! This brings the Biermann family total to lucky number 19! Er, I mean, 8. Kim and Kroy are heading to the hospital and saying goodbye to everyone as if they’re going for pizza and will be back in an hour. Brielle was like “Later, I’m taking a nap”. I’m assuming this milestone has become uneventful since Kim has literally been to this rodeo 37 times before.
We are then treated to a montage of pictures that are essentially selfies, selfies and more selfies. I mean, who kisses your husband and takes a selfie at the same time? With your eyes open? Totally normal. Not weird at all. Just when I start to think the entire show will be Kim narrating over selfies, we get a glance at their dream house finally finished. Slowly my mind starts drifting off thinking how much are the property taxes, hell, even the monthly electric bill – and we see that it’s 17,000 square feet of pure of Kim Zolciak. She’s done Julia Sugarbaker proud. Exhibit A: The candy cane room, an ode to a red-striped couch. Um, OK.
Kim Zolciak is back! TheDon't Be Tardy season 3 premiere date is finally set – Thursday, July 17th – and here is our first peek at what to expect!
Kim and her Biermann crew are back in front of the cameras – including two adorable new additions – twins Kane and Kaia. Kim, Kroy, Brielle, Ariana, KJ, Kash and the twins are moving into their new mansion, camping, vacationing and shopping in the all new season and it looks like it's going to be a lot of fun! I'll take this Kim over the old Real Housewives of Atlanta Kim any day!
Take a look at the teaser trailer below. They had me already with their six cutie-pie kiddos, but I am not about to miss Kim "roughing it" at a campground – wigs in tow! And not to mention seeing the inside of her new house! Count me in.
And can I get an AMEN that Bravo is airing a show at the end of the week? It feels like so many of their shows are crammed in on Sundays and Mondays – it's great to see them spread things out for once!
For the last three years, Kim Zolciak has been pregnant on her birthday. So this year, her husband, Atlanta Falcon player Kroy Biermann, took her on a little getaway to celebrate, leaving all six kids at home. We are still guessing as to where the lovebirds went on their little getaway, but Kim shared lots of pics on Instagram along the way.
“So excited! High in the sky with this guy@kroybiermann … a short little getaway to celebrate my birthday tomorrow! 1st birthday in 3 years that I'm NOT pregnant!! #myhubbyisthebest,” Kim tweeted along with the photo above of the twosome on a plane.
So what else did her mystery destination birthday have in store?
Not to channel my inner Jerry Orbach (the Dirty Dancing one, not the Law and Order one…clearly I have both!), but when I'm wrong, I say I'm wrong. I honestly never thought that former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak would last three weeks withKroy Biermann. To me, their relationship screamed story line.
However, a few years, spin-off, and umpteen babies later, I do think the couple is genuinely happy and in love. I hate that I was such a cynic. Kim has been Kroy's biggest supporter on and off the field, and now she's gearing up for his latest NFL season.
When Brielle Biermann tweeted about her dinner plans with a friend on Saturday, writing, "i gotta feeling that tonight's gonna be a good good night gotta feelin;)" she probably wasn't counting on a trip to the emergency room after being hit in the face with a sign. Luckily, Kim Zolciak Biermann's seventeen-year-old daughter didn't wasn't seriously injured, and she continues to joke about it on social media.
While we're not sure of the details of the sign debacle (a follower commented "besides getting hit by a sign…" in response to Brielle's Black-Eyed Peas' lyrics), her mother was understandably tweeting up a worried storm about the event.
