Season three of Southern Charmsaw Kathryn Dennisthe odd-girl-out, with only friend of the cast Jennifer Snowden at her side, but my how things have changed since the end of that season. For season four of Southern Charm, Kathryn is back, and she has regrouped, and now has her own girl squad of sorts, and there is peace with all of the other Southern Charm ladies. Well, almost all of the other ladies.
For season four of Southern Charm, Kathryn found her self warmly welcomed by Naomie Olindo, girlfriend of cast member Craig Conover, Danni Baird, and her old friend, Elizabeth Madison, plus, Chelsea Meissner, Southern Charm friend, and former Survivor contestant. Kathryn now says with season four of Southern Charm behind her, that all is still well with this group of ladies. “I love them all! I find this group real, and they are all awesome!’
Survivor‘s 34th season kicked off with an action-packed double-episode on Wednesday, as the first episode of “Survivor: Game Changers” premiered. It was also the 500th episode of the show overall since the series premiere back in the Summer of 2000. A double-ep meant that we witnessed twice the excitement, twice the back-stabbing and twice the torch-snuffing, as not one but two contestants were sent home.
Caution, as spoilers from this week’s episode are to follow! Turn back now! And if you want to get caught up, be sure to check out the premiere recap here.

Have you ever wondered what goes into creating a reality series before it is launched? Before Southern Charm came to Bravo, a “sizzle reel” was created, featuring Thomas Ravenel, Shep Rose, Whitney Sudler-Smith, J.D. Sermet, and a few other Charleston, South Carolina denizens who didn’t make the final cut. Though Craig Conoveris not in the “sizzle reel” he was included in the pitch for Southern Gentlemen, which morphed into Southern Charm.
But while Southern Charm executive producer Whitney-Sudler Smith and Bryan Kestner (who would become one of Southern Charm’s executive producers), with the help of Kestner’s then fiancee, Dawn Price, put the initial pitch together, it was for a show called Southern Gentlemen [view the sizzle reel video here]. Dedicated fans of Southern Charm might remember Bryan Kestner as the person mentioned by Patricia to son Whitney as someone he should consult before going into the restaurant business.
Over the last week or so, several of Kathryn Dennis‘ Southern Charm cast mates have come forward to drop her name, attracting attention, with talk of “imploding friendships” and failed love affairs, but Kathryn has stayed quiet, until now. With season four of Southern Charm coming soon, Kathryn wants to explain why she returned for a new season, and how she sees Southern Charm, and her life, going forward, officially, minus Thomas Ravenel.
Last season was as rough as it could get for Kathryn, as she had just had her son, Saint, and she felt frozen out by most of the cast of Southern Charm, including “baby daddy” Thomas Ravenel. And then, just before the show’s three part reunion, Dennis and Ravenel started battling in court. Kathryn made the decision, which she considers the right decision, to seek help to get her life back on track. Fans can certainly buckle in for a bumpy ride, but Dennis said she feels like she can hold her head up high for the return that almost wasn’t.
Plenty of people were skeptical over Melissa Gorga‘s latest business venture last season on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. When the reality star opened up a clothing boutique with a partner, many stories circulated that Melissa was just the “face” of the store and not the actual owner. Turns out that might be somewhat true, at least according to Kim D. Melissa’s business partner packed up the store and is now selling off the inventory at Posche Thursday night!
Our source shared, “Melissa’s store, which was really never her store, is closed down!! All of the merchandise is out. Nothing is left but the fixtures! The real owner, Jackie Robinson, took everything.” Our source adds, “The store was always just a storyline for Melissa. She wasn’t the real owner. It was never about her having a career. It was just for the show! Melissa would have had zero storyline with the store. Same like the singing, the book, and the jewelry line….”
Adam Klein became the 32nd person to ever win Survivor last night, winning a unanimous final vote over Hannah and Ken. Adam’s journey towards victory was one of the most emotional the game has ever seen, with the fact that Adam was playing the game while his mom suffered from lung cancer, and as we learned last night, succumbed to the illness just one hour after Adam returned home from the season.
I had the chance to chat with Adam today about his time in the game, his story, and his take on this season and all-things Survivor. Click continue reading for the full transcript.
Tipsy Girl wines may be doing well and celebrating some success, but the same can’t be said for Tipsy Girl’s NYC restaurant/bar. It seems that the restaurant was having some trouble getting off the ground and now it’s pretty much at a stand still, if these pictures are any indication.
On Friday night our reader Jackie Danicki was strolling by the location and noticed it was closed up, lights off – and upon closer inspection, Tipsy Girl was served with an eviction notice! Sonja Morgan explains to Reality Tea that it’s all due to a whole lot of red tape!
If you’re like me, you were very excited to tune in to last night’s super sized premiere of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles. For me, the anticipation was even greater than normal, given I’d spent my afternoon chatting over tea and crumpets with the lovely David Parnes and James Harris. Both gentlemen were incredibly easy to talk to, complimentary, and gracious. I may create some kind of mix of their responses on my sound machine so that their lilting accents can lull me to sleep at night? Weird? I’m totally kidding then…
Yesterday I shared my interview with James, and he filled us in on working the Malibu scene with Madison Hildebrand while refraining from dishing any dirt on his dear pal David. Did David return the favor? You’ll have to read and see. He does share some crazy open house shenanigans (I’m going to replay in my mind him excitedly stating “pandemonium!” while figuring out how to work that word into my everyday vocabulary, using his accent when I say it, of course) and hints about difficult times in his personal life we’ll be privy to this season.
