Former Real Housewives of Miami star Joanna Krupa had a big weekend! The former reality star got baptized in Israel. Joanna’s best friend, Traci Szymanski, brought her to Israel for a little bit of spiritual and physical rejuvenation and relaxation. Joanna arrived in Israel and headed straight to the north to be baptized in the Jordan River.
Joanna explained why she wanted to get baptized again as an adult. “I did it because as a baby your parents decide if you will be baptized. As an adult I wanted to confirm my beliefs and to show thanks for my life and everything I have accomplished. I wanted to do it as a cleansing, especially when I am in a very spiritual, special holy place like Israel. It was very powerful. It is a celebration of my life and being thankful and accepting it as an adult and vowing to be a better person.”
Getting baptized and/or spending time in reflection in Israel is popular among the celebrities this summer. Kim Kardashian and Kanye Westtook daughter North to Jerusalem to be baptized, Mariah Careybrought her twins there this summer (along with her billionaire boyfriend James Packer), and dozens of others have flocked there recently.
See the exclusive photos of Joanna’s baptism below.
On the season premiere, Simone and Toya picked up right where they left off (see the clip below), screaming and threatening.
Simone admitted in her blog that she’s still not over the reunion confrontation with Toya, adding, “I love a good debate and talking trash, but I don’t believe in physical violence against anyone. And when you top it off by lying about your intent to do bodily harm, I get even more angry and resentful. Forgiveness has never been my strong suit. I am truly sorry you have to see me snapping off on Toya. Unfortunately she has what it takes to push my wrong buttons! Sometimes, I imagine myself as Cookie, but then I quickly realize that I am not.”
Bravo‘s new reality series Mother Funders premieres this Sunday. The cast of PTO moms includes LaShon Thompson, Shana Koorse, Shayzon Prince, Carla Stephens, Robin Dyke, Amber Bryant, and Amber Coulter.
Bravo shares: “Mother Funders is a comedic docu-series which takes a look inside the triumphs and trials of one very special Parent Teacher Organization board in Locust Grove, Georgia, led by super mom and president, Carla. With Carla’s goal to raise as much money as she can for the town’s elementary school, it’s a strict regimen of reading, writing, and arithmetic to raise the most funds for the local elementary school. The only way of reaching her goal is to keep the momentum going and get her fellow board members to plan, execute, and implement extravagant fundraising events which will rake in the cash – but ruffle some feathers along the way.”
I’m sold. I haven’t been this excited about a new Bravo show since Ladies of London. As a PTO mom myself (haha! don’t judge me!), I am intrigued, and I also hope Mother Funders is a suitable replacement for Lifetime’s now- canceled Pretty Wicked Moms, which I loved. Take a look below to meet the cast and watch an exclusive clip from Mother Funders‘ first episode.
Yesterday Reality Tea had the opportunity to chat with Victoria Gotti about her feelings about reality TV then and now, her decision to return to reality TV in Growing Up Gotti: 10 Years Later, and what’s changed in her life after reality TV. Victoria also shared an update on her sons’ lives.
Victoria was candid, unapologetic, a dedicated mother, and exactly what you see on TV – which was a refreshing. She was adamant that the ‘blame the editors’ adage so many reality stars cling to is ridiculous, but she also admitted that reality TV has changed over the years. I take it her recent experience on Real Housewives Of New Jersey led her to that conclusion.
Victoria is excited to show viewers how her family has grown since we saw them on Growing Up Gotti, and she maintains that her experiences on that show, and on other reality shows, have been a positive ones, which is why she decided to open her life up the cameras again for an update.
Quoting Al Pacino from The Godfather III, Victoria joked, “‘Just when I think I’m out, they call me back in.’ No pun intended. But I think once you do it, that’s it!” Victoria says she has “no regrets” about participating in the original incarnation of Growing Up Gotti – and neither do her sons. “I loved it! When I was asked to come back, do this, I didn’t hesitate.”
Apparently Dina feels Caroline, Jacqueline, and her brother Chris Laurita didn’t support her against Danielle Staub, but her buddy Teresa Giudice did when she flung a table and screamed “Prostitution Whore!” on national television.
“Dina isn’t speaking to her Caroline,Chris or Jax because of the first season table flip,” an insider tells Tom Murro.

Jacqueline Laurita is returning – briefly – at the end of this season when filming resumes to capture Teresa Giudice‘s sentencing drama. Jacqueline revealed that she’ll actually just be filming to support season extra Kathy Wakile‘s newest dessert launch, but rumor has it the real reason producers pulled Jacqueline in was in the hopes of a showdown with Dina!
Jacqueline has also remained friendly with Teresa after the two made amends last season, so presumably they were hoping both Dina and Jacqueline could film together in support of their friend as she deals with her sentencing news. Well – Dina was not havin’ any of that! What’s that zen you speak of? More like ignore what you don’t want to see! The usual.
