The infamous Real Housewives of New Jersey family feud continues. We hoped 2013 could bring renewed peace and love (if it ever existed in the first place) to sisters-in-laws Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga. Guess not. Which is a bummer cause I'm really tired of writing about this.
Our source shares how Teresa spent her New Year's and who was not invited. Hint, hint: her initials are M.G. No surprise there! Unfortunately the Gorga family feud runs deeper than sisters-in-law who don't see eye-to-eye as Teresa's elderly parents barely have a relationship with their only son as a result of Melissa's alleged scheming and desperate famewhoring.
Here at RT, our job is to snark on all things reality television, be it stars, shows, or just general gossip. I'm not going to lie…it can be a lot of fun, and usually the people, programs, and situations make it super easy to write (hopefully) hilarious blog posts. However, when one of us is fortunate enough to get to interview one of the reality stars we normally joke about, it's a wake-up call…in a good way!
Yesterday I had the opportunity to speak with former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Sheree Whitfield about what has been going on in her life now that she is no longer involved with Bravo. I'll be honest, I was a tad bit nervous. It's not every day you get to have a conversation with someone you watched religiously on TV, especially when part of your job is to spew humor at her expense. I'm from a city in South Carolina just two hours from Atlanta, and the ATL was a favorite stomping ground in college and remains a shopping mecca for people in my neck of the woods. That said, RHOA and its stars have always held a special place in my heart. I'll likely never eat at RHOBH'sLisa Vanderpump's SUR (sigh), but it's really cool to see the women of Atlanta dining and shopping places I've actually been. Of course, when I graced those restaurants and boutiques I ate a side salad and purchased nada.
Sorry for digressing, but I felt the need to share part of the reason why I was so excited to chat with Sheree. She couldn't have been more professional, kind, and gracious. Sheree dished on her new jewelry line, her plans for the future, her gratitude towards her fans, and her thoughts on RHOA.
Last week I had the opportunity to speak to Marisa Zanuck, the new Housewife in training on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Marisa is definitely frank, outspoken, and unafraid to give her opinion – which means she'll be perfect for the show! Marisa joined the show as a friend of Kyle Richards and although she's nervous about the reaction to her debut she's excited to share her unconventional but fabulous BH life with viewers.
Marisa discussed her experience filming with the girls, and most importantly dished on who's a bitch, who's awesome, and who's exactly the same behind the scenes as they are on camera!
Below is an excerpt from our conversation.
Why Did You Decide To Join RHOBH?
"I decided to do the show because I thought it would be a lot of fun. I know Kyle really well. I thought it could open up some doors or maybe expose me to the world in a way that I wouldn't normally be exposed."
Do You Think Kyle Is Accurately Portrayed On The Show?
"Yes. 100 percent."

Casting speculation over Real Housewives of New Jersey has been rampant lately. Who's in, who's out, who's new, who's possibly returning after being dead for seasons soap opera style. Several sources have promised all the originals will be coming back, but that some new "friends" of Teresa Giudice are joining the cast!
The newest name to be tossed into the ring is Jennifer Dalton. Jennifer is a real estate agent at Sotheby's and is married to a prominent (and uber wealthy) New Jersey real estate developer and is reportedly a friend of both Teresa and Dina Manzo. She attended Teresa's Fabellini launch last season.
Jennifer has already been vetted by Bravo and appeared on Pregnant in Heels last season. And just who attended her baby shower which was filmed for the show? None other than Teresa andKim D!
This exclusive info makes us smile! Our favorite mustached Shahs of Sunset star Reza Farahan will no longer have to endure those awkward blind dates with baby-faced boys named Cheyenne! No more watching out for the 'To Catch a Predator' camera crew to spring out from around the corner! Our Reza has found a man and he sounds like a keeper!
Reza has been dating his new beau, Adam Neely, for more than a year now! Reza is a good secret keeper, y'all. Our source tells us that Reza and Adam met at the gym and have been going strong ever since.
Speaking with James he gave me his perspective on the situation with Marysol and how he believes their feud started. Now, bear in mind this is James' perspective.
James calls the show a "wonderful experience that has been very cathartic in a lot of ways." James says his issues with Marysol started a "couple of years ago."
He says their relationship was always casual. "We have a lot of the same acquaintances; people that I socialize with on a regular basis," he says and they often saw each other at social events.
James said he always felt Marysol had a "problem" with him, but he's not sure why. He thinks it has something to do with jealousy over him being a "bright light" and charismatic presence on the Miami social scene.

Nina was very thoughtful when discussing the show and had a lot of insightful comments on how the teams challenges worked for and against participants. And she also gave us a glimpse of what's to come for Nina Flowers now that reality TV is over.
An excerpt from our conversation is below:
What is your reaction to being eliminated? Did the Teams aspect play a role in that?
"It definitely had something to do with it more than if we would have had to compete as individuals. Competing in teams is definitely tougher. It's not just about your performance, it's also about your team partner. We did the best we could as a team and it is what it is. I'm sad that I wasn't able to take it all the way to the end like I did on season one, but I'm OK with it. It was definitely a fulfilling experience and I feel happy I was a part of All Stars."
Yesterday I got the exciting opportunity to speak to Manila Luzon. As everybody knows I am an enormous fan of RuPaul's All Stars Drag Race. Manilla was funny, candid, and his larger-than-life, exuberant persona came through over the phone!
"I love talking about myself," Manila exclaimed when I thanked him for speaking with Reality Tea. And that about sums it up.
Why did you decide to return for All Stars Drag Race?
"The money, kinda! I didn't win my season and I heard they were giving away a lot more money on the all stars season. So, I was like 'Well I did pretty well last time so let me take my chances again.' You can kinda like go through a list of all the girls that had been there and be like, 'Well I think I could take her and I think I could take her too. You know I sent her home before, let's do this!' And I decided to go back on TV for my fans so they could see me."
