Yesterday Reality Tea had the opportunity to chat with Victoria Gotti about her feelings about reality TV then and now, her decision to return to reality TV in Growing Up Gotti: 10 Years Later, and what’s changed in her life after reality TV. Victoria also shared an update on her sons’ lives.
Victoria was candid, unapologetic, a dedicated mother, and exactly what you see on TV – which was a refreshing. She was adamant that the ‘blame the editors’ adage so many reality stars cling to is ridiculous, but she also admitted that reality TV has changed over the years. I take it her recent experience on Real Housewives Of New Jersey led her to that conclusion.
Victoria is excited to show viewers how her family has grown since we saw them on Growing Up Gotti, and she maintains that her experiences on that show, and on other reality shows, have been a positive ones, which is why she decided to open her life up the cameras again for an update.
Quoting Al Pacino from The Godfather III, Victoria joked, “‘Just when I think I’m out, they call me back in.’ No pun intended. But I think once you do it, that’s it!” Victoria says she has “no regrets” about participating in the original incarnation of Growing Up Gotti – and neither do her sons. “I loved it! When I was asked to come back, do this, I didn’t hesitate.”
Apparently Dina feels Caroline, Jacqueline, and her brother Chris Laurita didn’t support her against Danielle Staub, but her buddy Teresa Giudice did when she flung a table and screamed “Prostitution Whore!” on national television.
“Dina isn’t speaking to her Caroline,Chris or Jax because of the first season table flip,” an insider tells Tom Murro.

Jacqueline Laurita is returning – briefly – at the end of this season when filming resumes to capture Teresa Giudice‘s sentencing drama. Jacqueline revealed that she’ll actually just be filming to support season extra Kathy Wakile‘s newest dessert launch, but rumor has it the real reason producers pulled Jacqueline in was in the hopes of a showdown with Dina!
Jacqueline has also remained friendly with Teresa after the two made amends last season, so presumably they were hoping both Dina and Jacqueline could film together in support of their friend as she deals with her sentencing news. Well – Dina was not havin’ any of that! What’s that zen you speak of? More like ignore what you don’t want to see! The usual.
Jim reached out to us to share his side of the story and explain the circumstances regarding custody of his two sons, his ex-wife’s legal situation, and the truth behind his involvement in the Whistleblower action.
Whistle Blower Action
Jim makes it clear he has “never” had any trouble with the law. Jim explains he and his former company Cell Therapeutics became embroiled in a civil lawsuit which explains his desire to acquire a maximum award from the judge.
Teresa Giudice is the master of putting on a happy face, despite the drama surrounding her. She’s always pretending everything is fine! But finally, unfortunately, the facade is being forced to crack as she and husband Joe Giudice deal with the upcoming federal sentencing related to a 41 count fraud indictment and the sudden loss of Joe’s father.
In addition, with Real Housewives of New Jersey airing, Teresa’s problems are about to be thrust in our faces to dissect. And of course, since nothing with RHONJ is as it seems, the recent so-called reunited Teresa and Melissa Gorga are already falling apart.
Reality Tea received an exclusive scoop from an inside source about what’s going on behind the scenes at RHONJ ‘Headquarters’.
As with everything involving The Real Housewives of New Jersey, things are not ever as they seem. And in the case of Melissa Gorga's $3.8 million Montville mansion, the cracks are showing – literally! Kai Patterson's spokesperson reached out to shoot down the claims made in the press yesterday byJoe and Melissa regarding the sale of their home and their attempt to evict him from the mansion for non-payment. It would appear there's another side to the story (shocker!) and it's a doozy!
Mr. Patterson's rep shared an extensive response which includes a laundry list of repairs not completed on the home – with photo evidence and more. Get your popcorn and Pinot. There are BEAVERS running amok in the Gorga mansion, y'all!
"In response to your article related to the Gorga's home, Mr. Patterson's rental agreement was modified on November 21, 2013, which changed the price of the rent to $10,000 per month (See Attachment: Modification of Lease and Purchase Terms Executed by All Parties on 11-21-2014.pdf – Paragraph 3b). A subsequent agreement changed the start date of the agreement executed on November 21, 2013 to February 26, 2014 and possession was taken the property on February 28, 2014. The February 26, 2014 agreement pushed back the increase in rent until after October 2014, which the Gorgas failed to provide to the Court (See Attachment: Paragraph 1 of Modified Rider as of 02-26-2014). In addition to paying $10,000 rent, an additional $10,000 per month was to be paid towards the purchase of the property, and those payments were to be used make several needed repairs before and after taking possession of the property. Although the Gorgas were initially paid $10,000 rent, and a deposit of $25,000, which was to be applied to the purchase price of the home and used to make the repairs, none of the repairs were made on the list of repairs provided below (See: Needed Repairs List and Pictures Below)."
