Did you not get enough of Kate Gosselin — in the first part of her TLC special Kate Plus 8: Sextuplets Turn 10?? The good news for you is that the second part of the two-part special airs tonight. So see, you still have one more chance to watch everyone's love-to-hate-her mother-of-the-year!
If a two-part special is not enough, People magazine shared some of Kate's feel-sorry-for-me quotes from the special for a little sneak peek! (Too bad we could not get another interview with Kate, her older girls and Savannah Guthrie — Awkward!!)
Mady Gosselin has always been the most challenging of the Gosselin kids – and the one who openly rebels against her mother Kate Gosselin. One thing is for certain -no one can anger ol' momonster Kate like Mady can!
In a new clip for the TLC Gosselin special Kate is seen trying to come off as more warm, fuzzy, and laid-back (while sporting a super-shiny too tight to move face) as she plans a carnival for the sextuplets' upcoming birthday. Unfortunately for her, Mady openly calls it a "stupid" and upsets all Kate's plans. "This isn't fun. I don't want to be part of it," Mady snaps.
Yesterday, TLC announced Kate Plus 8: Sextuplets Turn 10 will air as a two-part special and focus on how the kids – twins Cara and Mady and sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah, and Joel - have grown and what's new in Kate's life and career.
TLCshared, "The special also looks back at some of the most memorable and poignant family moments from the past several years and highlights what the day-to-day routine has been like for Kate and the kids since we last saw them." Viewers will also see spring break activities, family outings, and the sextuplets' carnival-themed 10th birthday party.
The Kate Plus 8 special premieres June 19 and concludes June 26 – and the fun begins at 10/9c both nights. Check out a short video clip of Kate Plus 8: Sextuplets Turn 10 below. Aww Kate is just as warm as I remember her to be.
Rumor has it, no one's favorite father of eight, Jon Gosselin, lost his job as a waiter. Raise your hand if you're shocked.
Last year, Jon started waiting and bussing tables in PA. At the time, he said he couldn't find an IT job that was flexible enough for a father of eight. Let's play along, shall we, and pretend he actually parents eight children on a daily basis. No judgment here. Waiting tables is an honest day's work – and it's more "real world" work thanKate Gosselin has done since Jon & Kate Plus 8 aired.
That said, Radar reported, Jon was fired from this job a few months ago. "Jon was fired for blowing off shifts and coming in late," claimed the source. "He had no work ethic and felt he could come and go as he pleased."
So who would have ever thought that Jon Gosselin would be reconciling with ex-wife Kate? It's crazy, right? I'm kidding, of course! The former Jon & Kate Plus Eight stars still despise one another, but I needed a good teaser. The pair is once again at odds in the media (because being pissed at each other in private doesn't garner any attention).
Lashing out about his wife's decision to feature their twins and sextuplets on a TLC update special, Jon is expressing his disgust and disappointment with the fact he wasn't asked to be included at the lengths Kate will go to in exploiting their children. You know, I was truly on Jon's side until I watched him on Couples Therapy. Geez. Cue the violins!
With two parents who have made a career of famewhoring and will do anything to stay in the limelight, it comes as no surprise that Kate has plans for a TLC reunion show about what her life is like now. The network announced, “It’s now been over two years since we’ve last seen the Gosselin clan, and Kate and the kids are catching up with TLC for an hour-long special, slated to air in June.”
I know, I know. Like you, I thought we'd (kind of) heard the last of Jon & Kate Plus 8 stars Jon Gosselin and ex-wife Kate. Sure, they'd appear every once in a while with a complaint or a new haircut, but, for the most part, they had left the building.
Enter VH1's Couples Therapy. With that one reality television gem that sensationalized Jon's "journey" post-divorce, the most dysfunctional family of eight was once again thrust down our throats like a bad corn dog. I'll be honest…I'd been Team Jon because I believed he'd intentionally dropped off our radar in an effort to be a "normal, hard-working dad," but in all actuality, he's just as much a fame whore as his ridiculous ex. Thanks, TLC. That was a can of worms that should have never been opened!
In the latest issue of In Touch Weekly, Jon regales us with tales of what a terrible mother Kate Gosselin is and now wants to fight her for custody of their sextuplets. This all comes weeks after Kate dropped a lawsuit against Jon claiming he stole information from her that was later used in a purported tell-all expose that accused her of being obsessed with fame and abusing her eight kids.
"They live in fear of Kate,” Jon claims of the nine-year-old sextuplets. “Every time I see them, they tell me they want to live with me.” In a recent Today Show interview, Jon and Kate's twins Mady and Kara refused to answer questions and displayed some serious animosity towards their mom. “It was horrible to watch,” recounts Jon.
