Adding her wisdom on the “power of the selfie,” Kim explains, “I think it’s really cute when you go and the girls, they ask for a selfie, and they say, ‘Will you post this on your Instagram? It’s so funny to see the power of a selfie… As silly as that may seem, it really makes their day.” Can’t you just picture Kim in a Skeletor pose wielding an iPhone? By the Power of Butt-Naked Instagrams! I have the SELFIE! Erghh.
Before reading, please note we are deeply sensitive to Bruce’s desire to live his life as a woman, but for the sake of this article we’re using male pronouns.
In light of the interview airing, Linda Thompson, Bruce’s second wife and mother of Brandon and Brody Jenner has spoken-out about her marriage to Bruce and how they privately dealt with his desire to transition to a woman. Linda announces she never would have “dared” violated Bruce’s truth or his dignity by revealing his gender dysphoria before he did so himself.
Tonight was Bruce Jenner’s interview with Diane Sawyer. Bruce confirmed to the public for the first time that he is making the transition to a woman and gave a lot of background and insight into his past and explained things in the best way he could to try to help others understand what he’s been going through and what he hopes for his future. He also shared who is taking the change the hardest and who is the most accepting.
Bruce starts out very emotional and nervous from the get-go. “It’s going to be an emotional roller-coaster but somehow I’ll get through it.” He gets teary and says “Let’s do it” and shares that “it’s going to be tough, but I’ve been waiting for this day forever and what I should do with my life. How do I tell my story. How do I tell people what I’ve been through? And that day is today.” As he cries, he tries to lighten things up and tells Diane that they have to keep their sense of humor about this.
After years of speculation about his changing appearance, along with a tumultuous year, Bruce Jenner is finally speaking out about what the future holds for him and his planned gender transition. In an intimate and revealing 20/20 interview with Diane Sawyer, Bruce, a father of 6 and step-father of 4, will reportedly open up about navigating his new life as a woman, his concerns, and if he feels at peace.
More specifically (sorta), Khloe plans to offer advice on how women can develop “strength and true beauty” in a “culture that worships skinny,” Khloe’s publisher, Regan Arts, says. Khloe comments, “I am so excited about sharing my philosophy on how I live and the power of strength. I hope to be an inspiration to readers everywhere on how they can create their own true strength and beauty inside and out.” The currently untitled advice book will hit shelves November 3 of this year. Just in time to fill those Christmas stockings! The book launch itself, occurring on May 31 at BookCon, will of course be filmed on this season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Kim Kardashianis the undisputed(?) queen of social media, naked selfies, and spinning-sextapes-into-goldmines, but now she’s using her power – and her bazillions of social media followers – to bring a little positive change into the world. (Did I wake up in an alternate reality?) According to Fish Wrapper, “Kim’s teamed up with Dr. Drew Pinsky for a documentary called ‘#RedFlag,’ which highlights the correlation between depression and social media today.”
Kim will serve as executive producer on the new show and says, “I am blessed to be surrounded by family and friends that are loving and nurturing, but not everyone has that kind of support. Twenty-five percent of adults in America will suffer from a mental illness in their lifetime, and many of them turn to social media to vent their depression, loneliness and isolation.”
TMZ reports: “Kris Jenner was in the dark about Bruce’s desire to become a woman during their entire marriage according to sources directly and closely connected to Kris.” These sources also add that “Kris insists the subject never came up again during their entire marriage. She also says she never saw Bruce dressed as a woman during their entire relationship.”
