Rumor has it that the reason for the holdup with Khloe Kardashian sealing a deal to become the host of 'The X Factor' is her contract with E!.

According to TMZ, Khloe's contract with E! ~~gives them ownership of her soul~~ guarantees them exclusivity and they're worried she won't be available when they snap their fingers to promote her family's 52 spinoff shows because she'll busy doing press for X Factor.

The X Factor's backup plan? Extra host Mario Lopez. Snore.

I'm not sure what E! is so worried about, they have several spare Kardashians at their disposal for doing promotional work! #FREEKHLOE

Speaking of the Kardashian Krew, here they are working hard in Miami on their spinoff formerly known as Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami, now dubbed Kourtney & Kim Take Miami. Except that Kim was too busy this particular day to take Miami with her sisters because they were out doing work and stuff. Kim Kardashian Is “Down for Some Hookups” In NYC! Talks Kanye West

Just days after the E! network announced the upcoming Kourtney and Kim Take New York reality show , Kim Kardashian is now speaking out on the new show and moving to New York City.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, who recently split from NFL player Miles Austin, reveals she is finally giving the single life a shot.

“This couldn’t have come at a more perfect time for me to just get out of my life [in LA] … I’m single and I keep on saying, ‘I’m single for the first time’ but I never have really given it a shot to be single,” she told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show. “I tried and I tried to play that role but I really wasn’t single.”

Kim intends on keeping things casual saying, “I’m down for some hookups.” And as of those romance rumors with rapper Kanye West (the two were photographed together when he paid a visit to her DASH store in NYC this week), Kim states she is not dating him.

“He came by the store. We wanted to show him our new designs of the store,” she explained before Ryan jokingly asked her about checking out Kanye. “I was not checking out his ass,” Kim added, “Don’t start any rumors!”

E! Announces New Show: Kourtney and Kim Take New York!

Move over Khloe! There’s a new Kardashian sister taking your place.

The E! network officially announced on Monday that Kim Kardashian, 29,will be replacing Khloe Kardashian, 26, on their hit series, now titled Kourtney and Kim Take New York!

Multiple media outlets confirmed months ago that the formerly titled Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami show would be moving to NYC. Kim’s addition to the show however comes as a total surprise.

According to E! news, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, 30, are moving to NYC for the fall, to open up a new DASH store there. While Khloé will remain in L.A. with Lakers hubby Lamar Odom, managing the siblings’ SoCal shop. Khloe is expected to drop by on her sisters during the season.

“Mason, Kim, Scott [Disick] and I arrived in NYC,” Kourtney blogged on Monday. “So excited for some fall in the Big Apple. No better place…Are you ready, NYC?”

Kourtney and Kim Take New York is set to debut on E! in January 2011.

Khloe Kardashian Making Only Guest Appearances On Season 3 Of ‘Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami!’

Is there more drama brewing for the Kardashian clan?

The HollywoodLife is reporting today that Khloe Kardashian is so over the E! hit show – Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami.

As we reported weeks ago, the 3rd season of the show is set to film in New York City. A source confirms this to the HollywoodLife stating that “Kourtney and Scott are moving there to open a Dash store in the city.”

The source however reveals that Khloe would prefer to focus on her marriage to NBA star Lamar Odom rather than film the show in NYC. “Khloé’s trying to get pregnant and doesn’t want to be around Scott during the pregnancy,” says the insider.

“Khloé has said that she’s not going to leave Lamar for any great length of time and has refused to do the full season. She’ll be coming to New York for only a few days here and there, when Lamar’s schedule permits,” adds the insider.

The source adds that Scott Disick’s destructive behavior in Miami also plays a big part in Khloe’s decision.

Khloé Kardashian Talks Getting Pregnant, Storms Out On Lamar In Jealous Rage

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are still surprisingly married after tying the knot back in September following only a few weeks of dating.

And though pregnancy rumors have plagued Khloe, star of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, she states she isn’t trying to get pregnant, while not doing anything to prevent a pregnancy.

“It’s in God’s hands, and let it happen when it happens,” said Khloe to PEOPLE. “I’m 26. It should happen naturally. I don’t want to force it. I would love to have a baby, and if I get pregnant, I get pregnant.” She adds with a laugh: “I don’t think, like … my biological clock is ticking!”

And in other Khlamar news, RadarOnline is reporting the married couple got into a big fight recently after Lamar’s Team USA basketball win over France Sunday night.

According to Radar, Lamar was giving attention to other women while out celebrating which made Khloe very upset, causing her to leave the celebration solo.

“Women kept stopping by the table to say hi to the guys,” an eyewitness told Radar. “After only 10 minutes, Khloe’s jealousy got the best of her and she stormed out.”

The eyewitness adds, “I overheard Khloe cursing Lamar out for being ‘too friendly… But Lamar didn’t really seem bothered when she left.”

The new season of KUWTK premieres August 22.

Kim Kardashian & Boyfriend Break Up? Bruce Jenner Defends Daughter’s “Hot” Modeling Photos

That was quick! It seems E! reality star Kim Kardashian’s new relationship with NFL Player Miles Austin has ended as quickly as it began.

Just days after the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was photographed visiting Miles in Texas at his Cowboys training camp, comes a report from E! News stating the two have decided to cool things off. “They’re taking things slowly” and “are cooling off a little,” says an insider, adding that “Kim wants to be single and date around.”

There are however rumors and rumblings that Kim was dumped and leaking this ‘cooling things off’ story to E! News is her way of saving face.

In other Kardashian news, E! News is also confirming that Kourtney Kardashian’s boyfriend Scott Disick is stepping up his plan to get help. We reported last week that Scott was getting therapy for his many problems, and E! is now reporting that he is also seeking help for his alcohol related issues.

“Scott received outpatient rehab treatment and counseling for alcohol use and psychological issues after his Miami outburst,” sources confirm to E! News. “He’s still being treated.”

Just weeks after controversial modeling pictures of his 14-year-old daughter Kendall Jenner hit the web, Bruce Jenner is now speaking out and defending the photos, even calling them “hot shots” in the process.

Bruce tells UsWeekly that the pictures are just like any other modeling photos out there “but because she is 14, all of a sudden [people are like], Is it right for a 14-year-old to do?” he says. “She wasn’t showing anything that was inappropriate — you know, too much cleavage or anything like that. They were just like hot shots … I saw the pictures and I said, ‘OK.’ If that is what she wants to do — she wants to be a model — then more power to her.”

Kendall also defended her modeling pics, telling PEOPLE magazine that “going into this shoot, it was never my intention to be provocative or too racy. It was a beach shoot, and I was wearing beachwear. I am happy with my age, and am not trying to rush into anything too soon. I look forward to all the milestones my teens have to offer–Sweet 16, turning 18, and so on.”

Report: Kourtney Kardashian’s Boyfriend Scott Disick Is Getting Help

The last episode of Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami brought us a very drunk and bloody Scott Disick, as he angrily punched a wall while in a drunken rage.

Life&Style is now reporting this week that Kourtney Kardashian’s babydaddy/boyfriend has decided to get help after watching himself on television.

“What happened in Miami was a wake-up call,” a source close to the Kardashians tells Life & Style. “Scott realized that Kourtney could bar him from seeing Mason if he kept drinking. That’s what ultimately led him to get help.”

According to the mag, Scott is taking the 50th second chance Kourtney is giving him seriously and is now seeing a therapist.

Kourtney Kardashian: Scott Is ‘Not a Monster’ Plus New Kardashian Controversy

Kourtney Kardashian is back to doing what she does best, which is defending the douchebag behavior of her baby daddy/boyfriend Scott Disick.

After the airing of the recent episode of Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, during which Scott was shown being an irresponsible partying playboy, Kourtney now wants the world to think know that Scott is not a bad boyfriend or a bad father.

“He’s very loving and sensitive,” the reality star, 31, told PEOPLE over the weekend. “We were laughing with his parents about that. Scott’s their little baby boy. And they were joking about [the rumors]. Scott’s obviously not a monster.”

Kourtney goes on to add that being a father to 7-month-old son Mason has drawn her closer to him. “[Scott's] doing fantastic [as a father],” she said. “I love watching him with Mason. He makes him crack up so hard. He makes him laugh. It’s fun to see them together.”

In other Kardashian news, it seems Kris Jenner is now moving on to the next generation of Kardashian/Jenners to come along. The Kardashian mom is already pimping primping her two youngest daughters for famewhoredom stardom.

And it seems Kendall, who started modeling last year, is not the only model in the family. Her younger sister, 12-year-old Kylie Jenner, has also started modeling and recently shot a commercial shoot for JcPenny.

While on the set of Kylie’s commercial shoot, pimp extraordinaire Kardashian mom Kris jokingly told E! News she wanted a reality show for Kendall and Kylie before adding, “My goal is to keep these kids working!”
