Love & Hip Hop

Before we begin, may I congratulate Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris on the birth of their daughter? Mona, did you have your Love & Hip Hop cameras in the delivery room? Speaking of babies, the episode begins with Amina Buddafly and Peter Gunz returning home from the hospital after the birth of daughter Corie. Peter has decided to focus on his new family now that ex Tara Wallace has given him the boot. He chooses to come clean with Amina now that everyone is home safe and sound, and he admits that he wasn’t on a business in Trinidad, but instead he was on a family vacation in Barbados with Tara and their kids. She is livid to learn that she’s his second choice. Amina swears she’ll never be able to forgive him…at least not for a few hours at least. Peter doesn’t understand her frustration. Shouldn’t she be happy he’s finally telling the truth?

Despite Erica Mena’s protests, Rich Dollaz and Cyn have totally changed their tune when it comes to their relationship. They are finally in a place where they don’t want to kill the other out of jealousy. In fact, Rich can’t wait to introduce Cyn to his new artist Precious Paris to see if a collaboration could be in their future. Before the pair meets, he also wants Cyn to taste test his new liquor to see if she is still willing to be the face of his brand. Precious Paris arrives, and she and Cyn hit it off immediately. Cyn shares her desire to create a tribute song for her brother who recently committed suicide. Cyn feels like she failed her brother, but Precious reminds her that she couldn’t have done anything he didn’t want her to do. Cyn hopes she can reach others who are suffering through her music. Precious and Cyn toast their new collaboration with Rich’s liquor.

So yesterday was a big day for Love & Hip Hop stars Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris as they welcomed their daughter to the world. As of yet, no pictures have been released of their baby girl, but Mendeecees shared some photos of his almost wife in labor and then sharing a post birth smile.

Fans of the show have been on baby watch for a while, as Yandy looked about to pop in the above-picture she posted on Instagram Friday with the caption, “God…is amazing. Amen. I know I’m not smiling but I’m happy on the inside, blessed on the inside, and so thankful all over.” We’ll keep scanning social media for pictures of the latest addition to L&HH, but in the meantime, check out Mendeecees’ pictures leading up to the birth. Well, at least I think the pictures are Mendeecees…I can’t tell. #watermark #necessary?

Reality TV Viewer Numbers Celebrity Apprentice

The reality TV viewer numbers are in. An impressive 6.51 million viewers tuned in to see Joan Rivers on Celebrity Apprentice this week. And they also got to see Brandi and Kenya roll around in bed together. <eye roll> Brandi’s other show, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, attracted 1.894 million and Kenya’s other show, Real Housewives of Atlanta, garnered 3.192 million viewers.

On Monday, 1.336 million watched Katie tell off Stassi on Vanderpump Rules, and 2.382 million tuned in to see Peter and Amina meet their baby girl on Love & Hip Hop. On Wednesday, the brawl aftermath on Mob Wives attracted just over one million fans, and pregnancy drama on Little Women L.A. garnered 1.109 million viewers. Also, Sister Wives bounced back from last week’s 325K loss of viewers, but Dance Moms continued its down-down-downward spiral.

If you would have told me last year that Erica Mena had settled into a drama-free relationship and would be walking down the aisle in a traditional wedding gown, I would not have believed you! But it’s true.

The Love & Hip Hop star and her fiancé Bow Wow (aka Shad Moss) are happily planning their wedding together, which will take place in April and won’t be a giant reality TV affair at all. “It’s around the corner,” confirms Erica, “so it’s a lot of work to do actually. It’s coming together.”

So, Love & Hip Hop has its own resident Kim Zolciak. Last night’s episode was hair-raising for sure! I’m not sure which is worse…the cheating men or the women who put up with them! Um, is this Chrissy woman trying to be the next Rashadah Ali with her horrible wigs? This frizz nightmare is so distracting…as is the side boob and sagging cleavage. She’s meeting with Cyn at a hookah bar so they can complain about the craziness that is Erica Mena. Cyn looks fabulous from the shoulders up, but her jean shorts just look like heavy diapers. Cyn shares that she’s been working on her vocals, and Chrissy suggests she enlist the help of Rich Dollaz for an album. Chrissy feels very diabolical at the idea of bringing together two of Erica’s exes.

By the skin of his teeth, Peter Gunz makes it back to the States from Barbados just as Amina Buddafly goes into labor. In the delivery room, Amina questions Peter about his trip. Now that Tara Wallace has basically told him to hit the road, Peter reveals that he’s spoken to Tara and he wants to make things work with Amina. He reveals he’s happy to have closure with Tara, but he isn’t ready to admit that he was with Tara in Barbados. He doesn’t want to stress out Amina any further. However, he tells Amina that Tara his ready to move on, so–Congratulations!–he’s ready to give more energy to their marriage. Of course, all Amina hears is Tara kicked him to the curb so she’s sloppy seconds, which is what she should have heard because it’s basically what he said.

Reality TV Viewer Numbers RHOA

This week’s reality TV viewer numbers are in. On Sunday, Real Housewives of Atlanta attracted its largest audience since mid-November, with a whopping 3.534 million tuning in to see the scream fest in Puerto Rico. Nearly 1.7 million watched the Sister Wives season six premiere, but only 1.354 million cared to watch another road trip this week.

On Monday, 2.499 million watched Peter and Tara’s trip on Love & Hip Hop, 5.85 million fans tuned in to Celebrity Apprentice to see Ian take on Geraldo, and 1.128 million could not resist Kristen’s crazy on Vanderpump Rules

Also, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Little Women L.A. were steady, with 1.852 million tuning in to see Yolanda and Kyle see their kids off to college and nearly 1.1 million watching Christy and Briana question Terra’s friendships. Meanwhile, both Mob Wives and Dance Moms lost viewers, and 1.795 million watched the return of Kate Plus 8

Oh, Love & Hip Hop! Anything for a story line, right? If this is how we’re going to play the entire season, I’m going to need Mona Scott Young to invest in some serious acting classes for Diamond Strawberry. She is far from believable. She’s anticipating (and responding) to Cisco’s baby mama drama before he can even get the words out of his mouth. Last night’s episode begins with Diamond flipping out over the news that Cisco has a six month old child with his other child’s mother when he and Diamond have “been together for two years.” He defends his baby mama to her outcries of “that ho” and “that b!tch,” but he feels horrible to upset Diamond at her own party. Diamond can’t believe this turn of events. Doesn’t he know she left her friends and family back in L.A. to make this work? By God, her daughter misses her. No one feels badly for you stupid decision to move away from your child for some cheating man, honey.

Peter Gunz is still walking a fine line between Amina Buddafly and Tara Wallace. Peter shares that he’s been tapped to be the face of a new energy drink, and they need him to fly to Trinidad for a photo shoot. I think he meant to say he was taking a family vacation to Barbados with Tara and his boys. Amina is floored that he could possibly miss the birth of their child. She is, after all, due in two weeks. Peter guarantees that he won’t miss the birth unless there’s a hurricane. He guilts her by saying that now more than ever they need the money. I wonder what’s going to happen when she finds out he’s spending money on Tara instead of making it. He feels bad lying to his wife, but a guy’s got to do what a guy’s got to do, right?

Reality TV Viewer Numbers Celebrity Apprentice premiere

The reality TV viewer numbers are in – most of the shows on our list bounced back from the holiday slump. On Sunday, the season premiere of Sister Wives logged 1.679 million viewers, the season finale of Kourtney & Khloe Take The Hamptons attracted 1.836 million, and the season premiere of Celebrity Apprentice knocked it out of the park with an impressive 6.31 million viewers. Real Housewives of Atlanta continued to climb with 3.355 million tuning in to see Kandi’s sex and relationships party

On Monday, 1.307 million fans couldn’t resist Scheana’s bachelorette party on Vanderpump Rules, two new tasks on Celebrity Apprentice attracted 6.49 million, and the drama that is Love & Hip Hop garnered 2.668 million viewers.

On Tuesday, season five of Dance Moms premiered to 1.82 million viewers, which is down 25% from the season four premiere but right in line with the season four average of 1.84 million. The drunken mess that is Brandi on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills attracted 1.839 million viewers. On Wednesday, 1.059 million watched RATalie on Mob Wives. The season premiere of Little Women L.A. attracted 1.528 million, but only 1.062 million viewers came back this week to see Terra share her news.
