Fredrik defended himself against haters who complained about photos with too much Derek Loves Fredrik and photos with Fredrik Loves Money! Fredrik echoed several other reality stars who have tired of the negative comments. “Dear hater, BYE BYE!” retaliated Fredrik. “I’m glad you are pushing the unfollow button right about now.”
“I’m all about love and positivity. Perhaps I’m ‘supposed’ to tolerate negativity, like ‘everyone else’, but I just won’t,” added Fredrik. “No. I don’t allow any negativity in my life, and refuse to see the world in that way. I don’t think anyone should.”
Sure, we all love our fair share of drama, but every now and then it’s nice to have some fun and share some happy news. If you’re looking for a fun teaser this weekend, be sure to check out our Labor Day Weekend blind items and share your guesses. Now, let’s take a break from all of the Dance Momsdrama and Housewives bickering and check out which of our favorite reality stars have gotten engaged this past week.
First up this week was one of our favorite Million Dollar Listing LA agents, David Parnes. It’s no secret that Parnes is head over heels for his lady, Adrian Abnosi, and he made it official by proposing recently while the couple visited Italy. And with a 4-carat, cushion-cut stone ring, how could Abnosi possibly say no?

Heather Bilyeu never dreamed that when she agreed to film for Million Dollar Listing: LA as Madison’s assistant so so much of her life would change. Yesterday Reality Tea had the opportunity to speak with Heather about how she found herself on Bravo, what the show has meant for her career and as well as her personal life, and her craziest experiences in real estate. Heather also opened up about her relationship with fiancé Josh Altman, and her passion for rescue dogs.
Heather had absolutely no intention of being on TV and was even shy about listing to her own voicemail messages! “I definitely didn’t want to do it at first, but I’m so happy I did,” she reflects. “I have no regrets.”
“When I first started working for Madison he was on the show, but he wasn’t aware that he was getting picked up for another season. When I interviewed with him he said, ‘Don’t worry – you won’t need to be on the show.'” Heather says producers really enjoyed the “synergy” she and Madison had and encouraged her to film with him. “I was very reluctant,” she admits. “I had to push myself.”
“It’s really been amazing for me,” Heather shares. “I’ve discovered so much about myself and it’s been great for my business and I found my soon-to-be-husband.”
Ryan and Emilia got engaged in Times Square which Ryan shut down for the occasion. Since then it’s been full-speed ahead! The couple moved into their fully renovated NY apartment this February and have now shifted their focus to wedding planning. Oh, and Ryan is of course doing that whole real estate thingy too.
Since Emilia is Greek, naturally that’s where the couple will tie the knot. “Her whole family is in Athens. It’s going to be a destination wedding. I don’t know how many people will actually show up though,” Ryan told Details. He added that engaged life is quite similar to regular old couple life “except when she punches me in the face it leaves a diamond mark.”
Ryan and Emilia shared photos of their Greek vacation and wedding planning.
MDLLA will once again follow the ups and downs of Josh Altman, Josh Flagg, James Harris, and David Parnes. In season 8, Josh Altman is all about selling real estate – a million dollars a day to be exact – but Heather Bilyeu is all about making babies. Josh Flagg is “always moving forward” thanks to his grandmother’s influence on his life. “With boyfriend Colton at his side,” shares Bravo, “Josh Flagg is more aggressive than ever as he aims to become L.A.’s top-selling real estate agent.” As for James and David, they’re both struggling to find a work/home balance. “When work stress mounts, they lash out, causing them to not only clash with competing agents, but also each other.”
Fredrik Eklund is not a man who skimps on the details – especially when it comes to his appearance. The Million Dollar Listing New York star works in an image-conscious industry and wants to look the part of the NYC’s most successful real estate agent – at any cost!
“Selling is universal,” explains the best-selling author. “We are all selling. When you go on a date, you are selling,” continues Fredrik. “When you go on a job interview, you are selling.” And that justifies a premium price in his mind.
