Mob Wives Chicago Recap: Mommy Dearest, Father Realist

On last night’s Mob Wives Chicago, Leah organized the ladies to participate in a breast cancer walk in honor of her mother, and Renee’s daughter Giana went to visit her father in the clink…much to the chagrin of her disapproving mother.

Leah Disimone and Christina Scoleri go bead shopping…because that’s a thing. I must backtrack in my snarkiness. Leah wants to a breast cancer walk to honor her mother who was just diagnosed. She wants to make t-shirts for her team, and Christina has volunteered to have a get together where the women can decorate said shirts. Leah reveals that she is going to invite both Pia Rizza and Renee Fecarotta Russo to walk with her. Christina bristles as she has issues with both, but she is happy to hear that Leah is also going to include Nora Schweihs. She’s glad that Leah finally realizes that Nora isn’t as bad as all the other ladies want her to appear.

Mob Wives Chicago Recap: A Lot of Talking, But Not A Lot to Say

We resume with our favorite Mob Wives: Chicago ladies with Christina Scoleri‘s party going to heck in a hand basket. After all, NoraNora Schweihs did just accuse Renee Fecarotta Russo‘s dad of raping her. Pia Rizza is just thrilled that finally the other ladies are seeing the Nora that she sees.

Nora is crying to the point that her make-up is running so she makes a quick exit. Renee is quoting Forest Gump. Christina can’t believe that none of the women are even slightly siding with Nora. Has she watched any of the episodes?

Pia decides to hash out the party antics with her fifteen-year-old daughter. Pia wants her daughter to hear their crazy family history before she hears it on the mean streets..or at school. Bella is very mature, but she sure didn’t need to hear that her mom punched someone in the face. Just let this poor girl navigate high school sans the drama! Pia is doing an ugly cry, but her daughter is a stellar and mature fixture. Should she get her own show?

Mob Wives Chicago Recap: It’s Not a Party Without Face Slapping and Molestation Allegations!

Last night’s Mob Wives Chicago was yet another party foul. These women can’t get along to save their lives, although they aren’t nearly as tough as their original counterparts. At all.

Christina Scoleri fancies herself a designer. Watch out, Project Runway! She invites Pia Rizza over to share her new creation. Christina is designing a dress for Renee Fecarotta Russo. Pia relives her altercation with Nora Schweihs while Christina can’t believe all of this drama is happening on the eve of her party. Pia is sick of people disliking her for being a stripper. She reveals to Christina that Nora also used to “dance.” Christina is floored to learn that Nora used strip, she doesn’t think she made much money. While Pia has issues with Renee, she is willing to hang out with her at Christina’s party. Christina isn’t willing to throw Nora under the bus quite yet, because Nora hasn’t done anything to her. Pia cusses up a storm. Should be a great party!

Mob Wives Chicago Recap: Nora Loses More Friends…Shocking

I don’t mean to be a broken record, but could VH1 be any more obvious? Hair-pulling bar fights are now tempered with a “non-violent” episode. How stupid do you think I am, VH1? Well, last night’s Mob Wives Chicago had no violence, but just wait till next week! The women b*tched and moaned about one another, but there was thankfully no slapping or hair tugging. I am at a loss for words.

Nora Schweihs welcomes Pia Rizza in for a glass or three of wine. Nora is reliving Renee Fecarotta Russo‘s attack. Pia is upset that Nora still wants a friendship with Renee. Nora’s account of the pair’s fight is much different from what I watched, but apparently Nora thinks she was the instigator and the stronger fighter of the two. Nora makes the mistake of telling Pia that she’d rather strip than worry about Renee. Pia laughs at the comparison, but she doesn’t call out Nora on her verbal ridiculousness. I mean, after all, Pia is dancing. All the time. On a pole.

Mob Wives Chicago Recap: Loyalty, Schmoyalty

Last night’s Mob Wives Chicago solidified my theory of VH1 shows. From here on out, we’ll have a violent show, then a lovey-dovey episode, then more hair-pulling smack downs. Such is life, right y’all?

Renee Fecarotta Russo is meeting Nora Schweihs and her friend Julie for lunch. Renee isn’t chomping at the bit to hang with Nora, but she’s willing to put on a happy face since Julie is in town. Nora is clearly still miffed about Renee flaking out early at her father’s memorial luncheon. Nora goes into a diatribe about what a loyal friend Julie has been to her. Renee wishes that Nora would stop being so passive aggressive and calls Nora a “moron.” Nora reveals that she’s angry at Renee for being late to brunch, and Renee comes at her with guns blazing. Renee loves to rock a fedora, doesn’t she? She can’t believe that Nora is keeping a tally on who was there for what. The conversation–and the lunch–is donezo.

Mob Wives Chicago Recap: The Permed Peace Maker

VH1 seems to have learned that viewers are getting a bit testy with the violence. Last night’s Mob Wives Chicago, while expletive-filled, had no hair pulling, eye scratching, or table jumping. Refreshing! You have to throw in one calm episode every once in a while, right?

Christina Scoleri and Leah Disimone meet for brunch, and Christina reveals to Leah that she met up with Pia Rizza. Their accents are killing me, and almost every other word of Leah’s is bleeped. Christina believes that meeting up with Pia was a huge wasted of time. After bleeping about Pia for a bit, they switch gears to start talking bleep about Nora Schweihs. Leah blames Nora for the friendship break down between Christina and Pia.

Two Mob Wives Chicago Stars Sued by Manager, Plus Rapper Tony Testa Disses Karen Gravano!

I have to say that mob life as I always pictured isn’t quite as mob-esque as what I gather from VH1. Let me break it down for you…today’s Mob Wives‘ news revolves around a rap video and contract dispute. Not very Tony Soprano if you ask me.

It seems that Mob Wives Chicago stars Nora Schweihs and Renee Fecarotta Russo have a lot to learn about the entertainment industry. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, both are being sued by their manager Nick Celozzi, Jr. He claims that he entered into management contracts with both women, and his talent company was able to land them a place at the Mob Wives Chicago casting call. According to the two year contracts which were signed in December, both women agreed to pay him fifteen percent per episode of their VH1 paycheck. With the women scoring $6,000 per show, Nick is entitled to $900 per show from each woman.

Mob Wives Chicago Recap: Facebook Official

It’s the second installment of Mob Wives: Chicago. These ladies aren’t pulling any punches…they are coming in guns blazing.

Renee Fecarotta Russo is embarrassed that the women are fighting in such a classy place. Christina Scoleri pulls out Pia Rizza’s weave. Someone has taken Drita 101. Pia gets kicked out of the restaurant, although she seems confused as to why she was asked to leave.

Nora Schweihs goes to talk to Renee. Neither can believe the debacle from the previous evening. Renee thinks that both women were acting a fool. Nora tries to defend her friend’s behavior. Nora convinces Renee to call Pia to see if she would be willing to call a truce. Renee invites Pia over to have coffee with her and Nora.
