We began last night's episode as Karen and Ramona head to Renee's, and Karen has some major extensions. It's the afternoon of that dreaded brunch, and Renee is filling in the ladies on Carla's behavior. There is a lot of bleeping. Renee thinks that Carla is addicted to sleeping with married men. Renee reveals that neither Drita nor Big Ang came to her defense, and at one point, Carla threatened her life with a butter knife. Ramona is curious as to whether Carla planned to Grey Poupon Renee to death. The girl has jokes! It's jokeable…if that's a word. Karen shares that back in the day, they would have thrown Carla in the trunk of a car and threatened her family's life just to scare her a bit. Glad to see they've grown and matured.
Carla and her kids are playing in their pool, and she is getting the skinny on Joe's new house from the twins. She is shocked to learn that her husband and his girlfriend love to cook for the kids. Her children love the new lady Raquel as she takes them to Coney Island and does nice stuff for them. Carla is confused as to why a nice, young girl would want to get involved with an older, not yet divorced guy with kids who just got out of the slammer. Her kids are adorable.
Well this is classy. It would appear that the Mob Wives season premiere party is totally welcome to mobsters and their wives, but not to anyone from "urban culture."
The season three premiere party was held at NYC's Frames Bowling Lounge. In a recent email obtained by RadarOnline, marketing manager Frayda Resnick (relation to Faye?!) sent an explicit email detailing who would be welcome on the guest list and what they could wear.
Among the demands Frayda made: "no publicity relating to urban or hip hop culture and even said they wanted no rappers at their venue for the party."
The email further details that the press is not to be made aware of this discrimination! "Please make sure there is no press leaked to any website or outlets that covers urban or hiphop events," says Frayda's email to Sibrena Stowe de Fernandez, President of La Chic Media, who was running the party.
Some others in attendance: Love Games' Casey Cartel, Bad Girl Club’s Florina 'Flo' Kaja, Amazing Race’s Joseph Lasella, Big Ang’s Jennifer Patafio, Linda Torres and Frank Russo, Making The Band's Dylan Dilinjah, Brooklyn 11223’s Kelly Linton, Angelina Favuzza, and Christie Livoti.

Is it just me, or could VH1 afford to redo the opening credits for Mob Wives? Sure, I love to see Drita D'Avanzo, Renee Graziano, Karen Gravano, and Carla Facciolo walking the mean streets of Staten Island, but doesn'tRamona Rizzofeel a bit left out? What about Big Ang and the new girl Love Majewski? Loosen those purse strings, VH1! The ladies are back with an explosive premiere, and the personalities are all over the place! Drita staying out of drama? Carla growing a pair? Thank goodness we have Ang to be a calm in the ever brewing storm!
The season 3 premiere begins with besties Carla and Drita watching their tiny dogs on the boardwalk. Carla reveals that Ang's son is getting more time than just rehab for his drug dealing, and she's also heard that Renee has yet another problem with her. Drita says that she is finally on Renee's good side (and she wants to keep it that way!), but Carla doesn't care whether she is able to resolve her issues with Renee. She goes off on Renee's pill-popping problem, and it makes Drita very uncomfortable. Drita asks Carla if she can play peacemaker. Carla doesn't care one way or the other. This is going to get ugly!
Renee is changing the locks because she's had a recent break-in and her surveillance camera was camera. Clearly, it was someone trying to intimidate her. They even ripped up her Bible. Renee believes that it was some of Junior's former cohorts who are mad he turned state's evidence. She tells son AJ that she wants to get a gun. He rolls his eyes. Renee wants to talk smack about Junior to their son, and he admits that he knows what his dad did was wrong. However, he hates that his mother wants to speak ill of his dad to him. AJ yells that Renee needs to respect him. I feel for him. He's in a tough spot between both crazy parents.
Mob Wives kicked off last night with its season 3 premiere (and it delivered the drama!). Some of the cast and their crew hit up Frames Bowling Lounge in NYC to celebrate.
Love Majewski, Ramona RizzoandKaren Gravano were among the cast on hand to party and throw some balls down the lane. Though I'm sure that last part was for photo purposes and nobody actually kept score…
Stay tuned as Lauren brings you the Mob Wives season 3 episode 1 recap later this morning!
I don't know about y'all, but I am super excited about the third season of Mob Wives. Honestly, I started watching it because I had to recap it, but now I am addicted. Adding Big Ang as comic relief totally won me over, and the women's crazy drama never fails to entertain.
All of the original ladies are returning, and Karen Gravano's friend Love Majewski will be joining the cast. Admittedly, I'm a tad frightened by her, and I've only see the trailer! Carla Facciolo seems to find her voice this season, following the golden rule of VH1 reality shows–"She who yells the loudest remains the most relevant." Renee Grazziano maintains her role as resident drama queen, while Drita D'Avanzo is trying to distance herself from her formerly violent ways. Ramona Rizzo isn't willing to follow in Drita's footsteps as far as that is concerned! It's going to be a crazy season, that's for sure!
The third season of Mob Wives premieres in January and Vh1 has already released one of the rumored two new characters. Love Majewski who has quite the tale of mafia lineage behind her will be joining the cast.
In preparation for the new season the new teaser has been released and it gives us a small glimpse of what's up with Renee Graziano, Drita D'avanzo, and the rest of the girls!
Mob Wives returns this January and with it will come two new ladies of the underworld. The first name to be released is Love Majewski.
Love is a reality TV veteran and appeared in the I.D. channel's “I Married a Mobster’. According to an interview with the Daily Mail from a few years ago, Love has quite the mafia history. She married Chris Paciello a member of the Bonanno/Cosa Nostra crime family. Her relationship to Chris and his involvement in The Untouchables car-theft operation served as the inspiration and plot of the movie Gone In 60 Seconds.
