Happy Friday the 13th! It’s time to see what our favorite reality TV people have been up to when they’re not gracing us with their on-screen presence. Ariana Madix headed to Kentucky with her Vanderpump Rules co-stars Tom Sandoval, Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylorfor the 6th Annual Fillies & Stallions Kentucky Derby party.
Also getting fancy for a formal event: Kyle Richards and husband Mauricio Umansky. They, along with Faye Resnick, Kathy Hilton and Paris Hilton, attended the AltaMed Power Up, We Are The Future Gala at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons.
I started watching the Real Housewives because I was fascinated by wealthy women living lifestyles that I could never possibly attain. Weirdly enough, I actually find myself relating to a lot of the cast members in regard to many aspects. Sure, I will never be a rich and famous reality star, but I do find myself agreeing with a lot of the comments that the women make. More often than that I have a “that’s so me” feeling when I’m watching these shows.
Yes, I know that I would never be able to pay thousands of dollars for a spin class to benefit a charity like RHOBH ladies did this past season. I also don’t have my own fitness studio to work out in like Tamra Judge does on RHOC. But I do have something in common with these women: the difficulty to stay fit. I’m not throwing shade and saying that they don’t look amazing – because they honestly all do – but just like myself, they have also complained about dieting and fitness pretty often. There have been a lot of times when the women from Real Housewives have understood the struggle to get in shape.
As longtime fan of Keeping Up With the Kardashians (judge me, it’s fine), I’ve really missed seeingRob Kardashian on the show and even in the media these past few years. Rob and his new fianceBlac Chyna have been making up for the lost time that Rob spent being a super private person. Their whirlwind courtship has been extremely public, and now that they are engaged and have a baby on the way, I expect my Instagram feed to really be popping off in the next few months.
Instagram is cool and all, but Rob is slowly coming back into the limelight and he even had his first interview in years with E! (basically the Kardashian and Jenner channel at this point). It was a pretty brief interview, but it’s still nice to hear direct questions and answers instead of having to interpret subtweets and memes posted on social media.
Our favorite reality TV stars, like Kandi Burruss, Jenni Pulos, and Kathryn Dennis, love to show off their adorable kids and family photos on social media. It is tough to narrow down, but here’s our pick for the sweetest photos from the past few weeks.
In this week’s edition of reality star sightings – we have the Little Women: LA cast attending RuPaul’s DragCon over the weekend. And interestingly, it looks like Christy McGinty and Terra Jole aren’t sworn enemies any longer. The two were seen chatting it up and not a single drink glass was thrown! Also attending the event: former co-star Brittney “Freakabritt” Guzman and current cast member Tonya Banks.
Bethenny Frankel signed autographs for fans at the Kentucky Derby Day at Empire Casino in Yonkers, NY.
Rachel Zoe, David Foster and more attend the Annual Goldie’s Love In For Kids event in L.A.
Over the weekend Kim Zolciak partied and filmed the season finale of Don’t Be Tardy. Kim’s new skin care line “Kashmere” and her birthday were celebrated at the same event with her friends and family and both were filmed for the show.
Kim gushed on Instagram over the fun night, “What an incredible night! I’m so incredibly thankful for everyone that came out to celebrate my birthday and the surprise launch of my new skin care line Kashmere. (Link in my bio) I have such incredible family and friends and was surrounded with so much love. I was quite emotional, happy tears of course, never did I imagine in 2015 I would have a stroke followed by heart surgery. Life is precious, tomorrow is never promised. Enjoy each and everyday! Huge THANK YOU to my amazing husband, thank you for all you do.”
The Don’t Be Tardy star gushed that she put her “heart and soul” into the development of her products, the genius of which started when Kim began fabricating her own skincare at home, which includes a signature Kim scent. Wait – this from the woman who ordered Thanksgiving dinner from Neiman Marcus and can’t even make a boxed cake? She was mixing skincare formulas? Genius comes in many forms…
