Last night things got really, really, really Jerry Springer on Real Housewives of New Jersey. Like more so than table flips and husbands brawling and terrorizing fashion shows thrown by stripmall ’boutiques’.
Nicole Napolitano is teaming up with boyfriend Bobby to throw a First Responder themed costume party under the guise of raising awareness for the cause. They aren’t soliciting donations because, let’s face it – everyone on this show is broke! I mean Joe Gorga even tells us his wife Melissa Gorga is living in a delusional fantasy world that they have money. Here she is crashing Bentleys like they can afford the car in the first place, let alone the repairs! Personally I think Melis crashed that Bentley when she was pulling a getaway with some clothes from last week’s shopping trip with twins. But Joe tells us this happens all the time – what exactly is she fleeing from? The truth? It must be the paparazzi – she’s on display, guys!
Melissa is frustrated because Amber Marchese‘s gossiping about Nicole put her in an awkward situation and naturally she had to tell Nicole. Melissa doesn’t understand when Amber got so uppity – they used to be best party buds but now Amber is acting high and mighty! Melissa blames Amber’s husband.
Joe and Melissa Gorga were in Andy’s clubhouse to dish on tonight’s episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.Joe and Melissa answered questions about everything from how much money they really put out for their new garbage company, whether they’re building that dream home yet and when we can expect a new Melissa Gorga album!
Melissa on who she thinks was at fault in the fight between Amber Marchese and the twins: “I feel like Amber came in very strong, but I know Nicole pulled the first hair. I feel like they both equally… I don’t think anyone should put their hands on anyone, that I will say.”
On the new house, the Gorgas say they just started building the new one. And Melissa wanted to make it clear that she does like the rental house they’re in. Interesting since she says she’s moving back to Montville..
Love & Hip Hop Atlanta saw a dip in viewership on Monday night, with 3.435 million watching Mimi struggle, but VH1’s ratings powerhouse still won the night. The random Thursday night episode did not fare well, however, with only 2.158 million tuning in. But guess what… it still won the night!
Perhaps it’s a good thing Jacqueline left Real Housewives of New Jersey when she did because she certainly wouldn’t want her current legal mess playing out in front of the cameras. Then again, maybe the Bravo powers already have their hands full with Teresa Giudice‘s indictment!
Jacqueline and husband Chris Laurita have been struggling for a while – they filed bankruptcy related to their former company Signature Apparel, but bankruptcy courts believe the Lauritas intentionally defrauded creditors and spent company proceeds for their own benefit – and they want them to repay $7.8 million dollars to creditors. The Lauritas are contesting this ruling and the case is due to go to trial.
With all of her legal issues and the major changes facing her family, Teresa Giudice may be ready to step back from the spotlight!
She is ambivalent about leaving Real Housewives of New Jersey behind but does not deny that she may be ready. “I don’t know the future,” Teresa admits. “No one knows what’s going to happen a year from now. I might get another job, who knows?” There have been rumors before that once Joe Giudice heads to prison Teresa will be getting a spinoff, there are also rumors that she’s looking to branch out into a lifestyle/cooking show that would be an extension of her Fabulicious brand, which now also includes desserts and gelato.
After looking like a s#*!-stirring suck-up on this week’s episode, with her husband saying he’s not allowed to hang out with the Juicys because of their legal issues, Amber is trying to set the story straight.
“Neither Jim nor I have ever been judgmental of Joe and Teresa [Giudice]. At this point, we hadn’t even met Joe Giudice, and had only met Teresa once at our party. We knew of their situation, but still opened the invitation to them without regret,” Amber begins.
