Duck Dynasty

If you're not watching Duck Dynasty, you're really missing out on fun-filled, family-friendly, drama-free "reality" television.  However, I'm guessing that the majority of you ARE watching because season three's one hour finale was record-breaking.  A&E's gem garnered 9.6 million viewers making it the most watched show on Wednesday night, blowing normal competitors like American Idol and Survivor out of the water.

Entertainment Weekly has the numbers, and it's truly phenomenal.  American Idol only had a 3.3 rating on Wednesday, with Survivor scoring a 2.9 rating.  The Robertson's series averaged 8.4 million total viewers per episode this season which is up 95% from its sophomore season, delivering a 4.3 rating among adults 18-49. Clearly, Soncie has been spreading the word to get folks to watch her beloved Si!  Numbers like this have catapulted the series to into ratings gold, making it the cable's most watched reality show so far this year.  If that wasn't enough, Duck Dynasty is the second most watched show (reality or otherwise!) behind AMC's Walking Dead.  Way to go, Robertsons, and keep it coming!

To celebrate the monumentous occasion, A&E tweeted the above picture.  It's proof positive that you can never, ever have too much camo.

TELL US-ARE YOU SURPRISED THAT THE ROBERTSONS DOMINATED AMERICAN IDOL?

Last week the season premiere of Kim Zolciak's spinoff Don't Be Tardy had surprisingly decent ratings. And she cleaned up against Real Housewives of Atlanta nemesis Kandi Burruss

Unfortunately people may have reached side-boob and wig overdose, because Kim's ratings fell pretty dramatically for the third episode which aired this Tuesday!

Bravo Ratings shares that Kim's audience fell 28.5% from last week and only pulled about 900,000 viewers in the original 9:30pm EST airing. Even worse that's the lowest number of viewers any of Kim's spinoffs have ever had – including last year's Don't Be Tardy For The Wedding

Bravo's Married to Medicine is a ratings success!

Reality Tea readers didn't seem too impressed when Married to Medicine debuted to record breaking numbers. Many comments read like "really?" and "this show sucks" and "the ratings will drop." Um. Not so much.

I, too, expected the ratings to drop. In reality, however, Married to Medicine's ratings are going up! This past week, the much anticipated brawl between two cast members brought in 2.66 million viewers, a series high.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is officially over, but fans are left with lingering questions! Namely who is leaving and who is coming back next year?

There have been rumors that Taylor Armstrong and Kim Richards are on the chopping block (although Taylor attended Bravo's UpFronts last night which likely means she'll be back in some capacity…). One person definitely not returning is Faye Resnick! But just because she's left our television screens doesn't mean she's not causing drama!

Faye has attacked Lisa Vanderpump and Brandi Glanville, who coincidentally both have issues with Kyle Richards. It makes all of us wonder – is Faye Kyle's mouthpiece?

Were you one of the nearly 2 million people who watched Sunday night's premiere of Married to Medicine?!

Yes. Nearly 2 million. Married to Medicine's premiere averaged 1.9 viewers. Those impressive ratings made the Atlanta-based show Bravo's highest-rated series premiere since Bethenny Getting Married? and the most watched non-spinoff series premiere in Bravo's history.

I watched it, recapped it, and enjoyed it. There's no shortage of personality, which ranges from real to fake to cringe-worthy, and I have a feeling I'm already loving the ladies that I'm not "supposed" to like (this always happens to me). Nevertheless, it should be an interesting season, and I'm looking forward to watching it play out.

Season 16 Vanderpump of Dancing with the Stars premiered Monday night.

While Dancing with the Stars was the most-watched show of the night, with 16.76 million viewers, the season premiere ratings were down 11% compared to last spring's season 14 premiere. Next week's premiere of The Voice should prove to be interesting. I'm curious to learn how many viewers stick with DWTS and how many leave to check out the new mentors on The Voice.

That said, as long as the fabulous Lisa Vanderpump is a-dancing, we'll be a-watching. Lucky us – the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is blogging about her experience for People Magazine.

While Lisa isn't complaining about being "wrapped around" her "gorgeous partner" Gleb Savchenko, she revealed that the most enjoyable part of Dancing with the Stars is the camaraderie that she and her competitors share.

There has been much speculation as to whether or not Vanderpump Rules will be Bravo's next break-out show. And like it or love it (or despise it), the ratings are in and they have been consistently strong. In fact the fourth episode, which aired this past Monday, had viewership to rival Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!

1.67 Million viewers tuned into see Jax Taylor, the little sweater that could, and his spittle take down the queen, Stassi Schroeder at her Las Vegas birthday party. Compare that to RHOBH which earned 2.04 M viewers. Granted that's on the low end for RHOBH and viewership is traditionally higher, but for a break-out cable show VPR is doing preeeetty well!

Eager to capitalize on their new little starletts, Bravo has them working overtime. The cast taped a segment for The View yesterday (airing Friday) with HBIC Lisa Vanderpump to oversee their antics. Then they hit-up WWHL where they kept things anything but low-key! Some photos of their appearance on WWHL are below. Andy Cohen could not stop drooling, I might add!

The Real Housewives of Atlanta - Season 5

Is the Kardashian reality TV dynasty failing? Sunday night was the premiere of the long awaited and heavily promoted Kourtney & Kim Take Miami

The Kardashians signed a $40 million dollar deal with E! last year to unveil a slew of reality shows over the next three years. Part of the deal included spinoffs from Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Another part of the deal included increasing their shows from 30 minutes long to one hour.

Unfortunately ever since they nailed the massive contract – and despite tons of publicity surrounding their personal lives – ratings have been consistently stagnating. The season finale for season 7 of KKUWTK which aired in September and culminated with the birth of Kourtney Kardashian's daughter Penelope was the highest-rated episode of the season with a rating of 3.6M total viewers.
