There has been much speculation as to whether or not Vanderpump Rules will be Bravo's next break-out show. And like it or love it (or despise it), the ratings are in and they have been consistently strong. In fact the fourth episode, which aired this past Monday, had viewership to rival Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!

1.67 Million viewers tuned into see Jax Taylor, the little sweater that could, and his spittle take down the queen, Stassi Schroeder at her Las Vegas birthday party. Compare that to RHOBH which earned 2.04 M viewers. Granted that's on the low end for RHOBH and viewership is traditionally higher, but for a break-out cable show VPR is doing preeeetty well!

Eager to capitalize on their new little starletts, Bravo has them working overtime. The cast taped a segment for The View yesterday (airing Friday) with HBIC Lisa Vanderpump to oversee their antics. Then they hit-up WWHL where they kept things anything but low-key! Some photos of their appearance on WWHL are below. Andy Cohen could not stop drooling, I might add!

The Real Housewives of Atlanta - Season 5

Is the Kardashian reality TV dynasty failing? Sunday night was the premiere of the long awaited and heavily promoted Kourtney & Kim Take Miami

The Kardashians signed a $40 million dollar deal with E! last year to unveil a slew of reality shows over the next three years. Part of the deal included spinoffs from Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Another part of the deal included increasing their shows from 30 minutes long to one hour.

Unfortunately ever since they nailed the massive contract – and despite tons of publicity surrounding their personal lives – ratings have been consistently stagnating. The season finale for season 7 of KKUWTK which aired in September and culminated with the birth of Kourtney Kardashian's daughter Penelope was the highest-rated episode of the season with a rating of 3.6M total viewers.

Season 12 of American Idol, featuring new judges Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, and Keith Urban, premiered Wednesday night. While the new judges, namely Mariah and Nicki, gave us bloggers a lot to blog about over the past few months, they failed to increase ratings for the show.

An average of 17.9 million total viewers tuned in to the premiere. That's down 19% compared with last season and a new low for the reality show. The decline among viewers age 18 to 49 – the most sought-after group – was also 19%. In fact, American Idol's ratings have been going down, down, down since 2009.

Mike Darnell, the president of Fox's alternative programming, remains optimistic about American Idol's future. "We beat everybody last night, and we're way ahead of The Voice [season three debuted to 12.3 million viewers]. It’s by far the biggest reality show, [and] I feel like there's a real shot at closing that deficit over the next few weeks.”

This was a good week for our favorite reality shows!  It seems that everyone is getting back into the swing of 2013, and with a routine comes our favorite old habits…watching some of the most fantastically trashy television series known to man.

Lots of networks premiered new seasons of their hit shows, while Bravo maintains steady viewership for its shows that bridged the holiday season.  Whether you were tuning in to Here Comes Honey Boo, NeNe Leakes (WIG!), or Sean this season is going to bLowe try to find love, you were certainly watching!

MTV's BUCKWILD premiered Thursday night. Did you watch?

While it's safe to say Senator Joe Manchin probably didn't host a viewing party, a decent amount of people couldn't resist the mudding, dump truck swimming, tire rolling, mattress slinging, and redneck sexy times. BUCKWILD pulled in 2.49 million viewers and a 1.4 rating over its back-to-back premieres.

BUCKWILD's Executive Producer Barry Poznick tweeted

Comparing premieres, BUCKWILD outperformed Jersey Shore, which debuted to 1.375 million in 2009, by over one million viewers. Whether or not BUCKWILD becomes the ratings juggernaut that was Jersey Shore remains to be seen.

It was the bitchslap that just won't quit! Months after filming ended for Real Housewives of Miami and months after Adriana de Moura punched (slapped?) Joanna Krupa in the face during the world's worst charity event, Joanna is now taking legal action!

Why you ask? She was waiting on the footage as confirmation for what really happened. "Joanna is not just going to take this," a source tells RadarOnline. "She's reached out to one of Florida's most powerful attorneys to better understand her legal options after being punched in the face." Oh, brother…

Marta The source continues,  "Not only did Adriana punch her in the face, it took all of  Joanna’s strength to hold on to Adriana as she was trying to break free and grab a broom that Krupa believes she was going to hit her with." The broom! That broom! Where did it come from. I guess all witches need a broom.

Hurricane (or Superstorm) Sandy has officially passed, but unfortunately it left devastating damage in its wake. We hope all of our readers and reality stars were safe during the storm.

Karent Sierra and Joanna Krupa were stranded in NYC during the storm after their appearance on Watch What Happens Live Sunday night.

Together the two ladies partied at the Bowery Hotel while waiting out the storm – and lucky for them they had some run-ins with celebrities Denise Richards and and Michelle Rodriguez (of course Karent tweeted about it and posted a ton of photos!) The Real Housewives of Miami stars spent their downtime posting zillions of pictures of their forced slumberparty and now claim they are "closer than ever." Below are photos of the ladies hunkered down and braving #Sandy.

Last week Bethenny Frankel addressed her feelings on Real Housewives of New York. The newly minted talk show host admits that she occassionally tunes into the show that made her a household name and that she wishes nothing but the best for former co-star nemesis Kelly Bensimon.

“I wish Jill [Zarin] the best. I wish Kelly the best,” Bethenny told the audience. “Honestly, it was an experience that I’ll never forget and the year with the first five of us is definitely very nostalgic.” A video of Bethenny discussing her time on RHONY is below.

Well, because Kelly is still apparently very concerned about Bethenny and because she really doesn’t have anything else going on wants to keep her name in the press, she is responding to Bethenny’s comment with some niceties of her own.
