I think it’s safe to say that The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey is enjoying her single life right now. She’s got a new house, a few different businesses and a successful reality show. She weighs in this week to deny Peter Thomas‘ claims that she didn’t believe in him during their marriage and to share thoughts on the RHOA men staying tight with Apollo Nida.
Cynthia started off sharing that she wasn’t shocked to see that Peter has kept in close contact with Apollo Nida and she’s sure Apollo appreciates it. “I was not surprised to hear that Peter and Apollo kept in touch. I knew that they were in regular communication with each other, but I did not know how frequently they spoke. Apollo, Todd, and Peter are friends. Under the unfortunate circumstances, I would imagine that their friendship and support means the world to him.”
Reality TV friendships come and go, but it seems like Phaedra Parks and Porsha Williams have a solid friendship on Real Housewives of Atlanta. A lot of people on reality TV shows are only hanging out because they are contractually obligated to, but you can tell that these two are genuinely friends.
When Phaedra first joined the show, she was very proud of her relationship with her recent exApollo Nida. Nowadays, it seems like Phaedra’s only ride or die companion is Porsha.
Phaedra Parks can’t catch break on Real Housewives of Atlanta. She is always going through multiple issues at once, and she was once again front and center during the last episode with the news of a bomb threat at her office and a trip to prison to discuss her divorce with Apollo Nida. Damn, that’s a lot to deal with. She also went to the Democratic National Convention. This episode really did revolve around Phaedra, and she broke it all down in a new Q&A with Bravo.
In an excoriating Instagram post, Kenya‘s ex-boyfriend Matt Jordan compares himself to “Walter” (the original fake Kenya boyfriend) and accuses her of lying about him for a Real Housewives Of Atlanta storyline – for which he claims she never compensated him for as promised!
Good lord – are there any decent relationships in and around Atlanta?
After sharing that she was officially free, Apollo called the whole divorce story into question by filing a fresh set of divorce papers last week. But according to new reports, it’s just a waste everyone’s time since a judge already signed off on the whole thing.
Watching Kenya Moore and Matt Jordan trying to make their relationship work on Real Housewives of Atlanta feels awkward. Initially, I was happy to see the chronically single Kenya booed up with a man, but the way things have progressed makes me very uncomfortable and honestly nervous for Kenya’s well-being. It’s hard to tell what the hell is going on with their relationship at any given moment, but Kenya opened up to Bravo about the most recent episode and Matt’s insecurities.
From an outsider’s point of view, I think Kenya needs to leave this relationship, but I obviously know nothing about its personal details. As Selena Gomez once sang, “the heat wants what it wants,” so I can see why she would try so hard to make their romance work even if it seems like a very stressful ordeal.
At least that’s what Ms. Moore announced on her Instagram page. “Next year” is a pretty vague date for an announcement so I have no idea when it will actually be in stores, but I am sure Kenya will keep her followers updated. Not only did Kenya share this news in her post, but she also thanked other Real Housewives entrepreneurs for inspiring her as a businesswoman.
I cannot help laughing at this whole situation. I can’t tell if this is a legit relationship or just a wild publicity stunt, but this woman actually posted a photo of her “ring” on Instagram to make their engagement social media official. God, I would love to see what Phaedra texted her bestie Porsha Williams about this whole mess. I’m sure she had some choice words for both of these people.
