After a whole season of spreading rumors about Kandi Burruss and never getting caught, I feel like Phaedra Parks is going to have a hellish time at the reunion. Sure Kandi and her had a nice moment during the Real Housewives of Atlantafinale episode, but that was before Kandi got to watch all of the episodes back and see exactly what Phaedra has been saying about her this entire time.
Other than the continued tension between Phaedra and Kandi, the other big story from the finale was Kim Zolciak’s return and her random argument with Kenya Moore.
After all of the rumors, lying, and even the drugging accusations that went down between Porsha Williams and Kandi Burruss during this season of Real Housewives of Atlanta, it is not at all surprising that these two go at each other during the reunion. These two are pulling no punches and Kandi made it clear she doesn’t believe Porsha actually goes to anger management.
On a lighter note, after Andy Cohen has spent many interviews interrogating Kenya Moore about whether or not she had a boob job, Kandi admitted to getting one herself during the reunion.
Even though Kandi Burruss has been on Real Housewives of Atlanta for a long time, she has never had a season as tough as this one. From the demise of her friendship with Phaedra Parks, to Porsha Williams accusing her of attempted drugging and rape, to getting sued by a former employee, it would be an understatement to say that this was a rough one for Kandi.
Well now Kandi is firing back at her ex-employee Johnnie Winston after he sued her for allegedly not paying overtime wages and appeared on camera with Kandi’s nemesis Phaedra to discuss the case. Kandi is not messing around and is hitting him hard with a defamation suit.
The reunion will reportedly expose Phaedra as being the source behind Porsha Williams‘s claims that Kandi is a lesbian, and that Phaedra encouraged Porsha to make the “date rape” accusation. As a result Phaedra has not being given a “renewal contract” for season 10. Contracts were allegedly already sent last week. (seems a bit earlier than the usual)
Phaedra tried to blame the rumors on former Executive Producer Carlos King (Carlos supposedly had a professional beef with ToddTucker over a reality show on another network and apparently this manifested into a vendetta against Kandi). Kandi has obviously been was VERY, VERY unhappy with her storyline this season. So upset that Carlos was also reportedly fired, and won’t be returning next season.
Bravo is really trying to give us a seizure – or Real Housewives Of Atlanta really has A LOT to talk about! After a crazy season filled with some extremely salacious accusations, and friendships irrevocably broken, the ladies are treating us to a never-before-seen FOUR-PART reunion!
I still can’t believe that Sheree Whitfield’s mansion is finally “finished.” Sure, that last word is debatable, but we all have to agree that the house did look gorgeous (for the most part). Plus, the Chateau Sheree housewarming party brought some great drama to finish out the Real Housewives of Atlanta season… before the reunion. So obviously Sheree had a lot to say about it during her Watch What Happens Live appearance last night.
Last night was the season finale of a very, well, bizarre season of Real Housewives Of Atlanta. Thankfully we didn’t relive Lesbian-Gate – we’re saving that for the reunion – but we did witness the official end of Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss‘ friendship. Something else happened… Something big, I think… Oh what was it? Hmmmm… OH! Chateau Sheree. Yep, it’s up and running. Almost.
I am so thrown off by the previews for the Real Housewives of Atlanta finale with Kenya Moore and Kim Zolciak arguing. They barely know each other. Kim left the show in the middle of Kenya’s first season of the show and she had a million kids since then, so I am confused by the animosity.
Nevertheless, I am pumped to see it all go down at Sheree Whitfield’s housewarming party. I’m kind of surprised that Kenya was even invited to that one, but maybe Sheree had to invite her for the finale? Then again, they did seem to put their nonsense on the back burner ever since the Bob Whitfield drama went down in Hawaii.
