Things are very Gone with the Wind Fabulous for Real Housewives of Atlanta'sKenya Moore as the eviction suit against her heats up…and speaking of heating up, there is some pretty scandalous gossip surrounding Porsha Stewart that is making the rounds. We'll have more on that in a bit! First, let's start with the former Miss USA's legal woes.
After neither Kenya nor her lawyer showed up in court to fight the eviction, she claimed that she never received notice of the hearing. Now, her former landlord Conya Dillon is asking for an expedited hearing, and she's not fooling around. In her legal documents, Conya calls out Kenya for using the eviction proceedings to prolong her fifteen minutes of fame.
Radar has obtained court filings Kenya's landlord accuses her former tenant of violating the terms of her lease fifteen different times, as well as causing “extreme emotional distress as the result of the delay [of the eviction] and the defendant’s malicious and intentional [character] attacks."
Cynthia has been under scrutiny the past few weeks over a teeny tiny tummy bulge, with many thinking that the reality star is pregnant. Cynthia took to Twitter to blast the reports: she and Peter Thomas are not expecting a baby.
Cynthiashared, "Thanks for all the congrats! However, I am not pregnant." Instead she revealed that she's going through a medical situation. "I am dealing with a medical condition that makes me look pregnant. Stay Tuned….."
There you have it. The only "collaboration" we can expect between Cynthia and Peter is their new book coming out next month.
A Fulton County Judge has ordered Kordell Stewartto pay his wife $5,000 a month in spousal support for the duration of their divorce proceedings. It wasn't as much as Porsha had hoped for, as she was asking for $7,500, but it's still a win, even if only temporary!
Kordell was also ordered to return all of Porsha's personal property or pay for a storage unit for her things.
Kenya tells Wendy, "we never got notice of our court date, so that's (the eviction) going to be overturned. We'll have another court date, so it isn't over 'til the fat lady sings." She shares how much money has been paid to her landlord for the rental, "secondly, this is absolutely absurd. I've paid this woman nearly $52,000 in rent and she has a $6,000 security deposit. I have paid her May rent and paid her June and my lease is up in three weeks. So, this whole thing is absolutely ridiculous."
The saga of the one-hit wonder continues… Unfortunately.
In her attempt to get Kandi Burruss' 'Don't Be Tardy' lawsuit against her thrown out of court, Kim Zolciak is taking on Kandi's lawyerPhaedra Parks and asserts that Phaedra has failed to prove that Kandi has sufficient rights to the material in question. She filed a Motion To Dismiss suggesting that Kandi has no grounds to file a suit for material that she has no copyright for.
In paper's filed by Kim's legal counsel she attests that: “Nowhere in Plaintiffs’ Complaint is it asserted that Kandi Koated Entertainment, Inc. is an owner or an assignee of any copyright interest in the Composition or the Sound Recording”.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star of course believes otherwise. Kandi is not the sole party in the lawsuit so it is unclear if Kim believes none of the plaintiffs involved have rights to the copyright.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star was being sued by her landlord for failing to pay her rent on time, a claim that Kenya vehemently denied. Conya Dillon had shared with us that Kenya was more than $2500 behind and explained, "she has been a horrible tenant with delinquencies that forced an eviction filing to get her to pay up."
