Real Housewives of Atlanta

Cynthia 1Bailey

The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Cynthia Bailey and sweet sixteen daughter, Noelle Robinson, share a striking pose as they grace the cover of the latest issue of Heart & Soul Magazine.  The mother and daughter beauties have never posed together professionally for a magazine cover, so they were over the moon when asked to appear on the African-American women’s publication that focuses on physical, mental and spiritual well-being.  However, despite the stunning cover, Cynthia was criticized for what Instagram followers thought was way too much boobage showing.

Even though Cynthia and Noelle are depicted dressed in white towels, similar ombre blond tussled hairstyles and looking radiant, the ‘hatahs’ on Instagram were alive and well, choosing instead to zero in on Cynthia’s ample cleavage display:

Kandi Burruss & Todd Tucker Old Lady Gang Restaurant

Todd Tucker wasn’t joking when he devised a plan to open a restaurant featuring Kandi Burruss‘ aunts recipes and call it Old Lady Gang! This is apparently a very real thing.

Todd and Kandi have been hinting about their desire to open a restaurant and Todd finally pitched the idea to Mama Joyce, his newfound BFF, Aunt Nora and Aunt Bertha on last night’s Real Housewives Of Atlanta. Todd even suggested advertising the restaurant with a WANTED photo with the OLG! I see no correlation, but um… maybe it’s just me?

NeNe Leakes returns on RHOA

Last night on Real Housewives Of Atlanta, several of the ladies, led by Phaedra Parks, traveled to Washington DC to celebrate the anniversary of the Million Man March, while other ladies remained in Atlanta receiving million dollar guests.

Ayden helps Phaedra pack for the trip, which will involve meeting with several congress members, including Florida representative Frederica Wilson, whose organization inspired Phaedra’s newfound passion, Saving Our Sons.

Kim Fields, along with her two sons, Porsha Williams, her two thot-ful daughters Coco and Chanel, and Sheree Whitfield (plus the now adult Kairo!) will also be attending.

kenya family reunion rhoa

It’s been a week, but I’m still cringing over last week’s episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta and the family reunion from hell. I don’t often feel badly for Kenya Moore, but my heart just broke for her as she ambushed her estranged mother to no avail while a partybus full of relatives looked on in shock. Hopefully tonight we’ll get some closure…and the return of NeNe Leakes

In an interview with Bravo, Kenya shares her feelings of devastation (and promotes her new memoir Invisible) and discusses how much she’s learned about herself in the process. When asked why she chose to plan the family reunion, the twirling reality star explains, “I’ve been open about wanting to have a family of my own since I was added to the cast. I have often regretted exposing myself the way I have, especially with my love life. It left me susceptible to mockery, false rumors, and ridicule (such as I can’t get a man). With that said, I’ve learned the men I’ve dated aren’t the issue — I am the issue. Through the help of counseling, seminars, and advice from people I love and respect, I knew it was time to dig deeper into my past. As such, that meant exploring my primary relationships and how they are connected to my romantic relationships. I needed to heal from the inside out, and realized I need my family to do so.”

Phaedra Parks‘ friendship with Kandi Burruss has been on rocky terrain as of late between huzzzzband drama, checks that haven’t come, and shady comments. Despite the issues Phaedra promises they will always remain friends and share a “rich history” together. Rich, eh?

Phaedra visited Kandi in the hospital after the Real Housewives Of Atlanta star gave birth to her son Ace last week and shockingly it was Mama Joyce, of all people, who extended the olive branch to Phaedra to get her friendship with Kandi back on track. With a new baby in the picture, there’s no reason to hang onto old grudges, right? Even if you are a Real Housewife…

Phaedra describes Mama Joyce’s peace mission as “a welcomed surprised.” That’s probably the first time in the history of Real Housewives Of Atlanta Mama Joyce’s presence was ever described as thus.

Tood with Snoopy

Just a mere eight days old and already Ace Wells Tucker, the son of Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker, has a new sleek black Mercedes toy ride-on electric car parked in his room!  Baby Ace is quite a lucky little guy, he apparently also has an enviable collection of stuffed toys.  One such lovey-to-be is a life-sized Snoopy plush that appears to be larger than his vertically challenged dad, Todd!

The baby boy even has his own Instagram account, acewellstucker, where his parents selected a slogan that states, ‘enjoy seeing the world thru my eyes!’  Ace already has a whopping 42,300 followers!  On the site, Ace is photographed with family members like his oftentimes cantankerous grandmother who is also featured on RHOA, Mama Joyce.  Sisters Riley and Kaela, who are also sometimes featured on the reality series are depicted looking lovingly at their household’s latest addition.  Famous friends are photographed cuddling with Ace like talk show host, comedienne and actress Sherri Shepherd.

Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas

Cynthia Bailey’s marriage to Peter Thomas has largely become her main storyline on this season’s Real Housewives of Atlanta. Will they last? Will they fall apart? Will Peter refrain from getting involved in womens’ business long enough to pretend to be a recommitted husband? Despite the real issues at stake (so Cynthia claims), the drama surrounding the couple’s relationship sometimes come off as manufactured at best, and boring at worst.

Much like Fetch, Cynthia is still trying to make this storyline happen, though! And in her latest blog, she breaks down both the state of her marriage and why she chooses to openly discuss marriage issues with her only daughter, Noelle. First, Cynthia shares her reaction to Peter’ssurprise trip“: “We had a great time in Mexico! I was very excited to spend some quality time with Peter. Between traveling and growing our businesses, we struggle to consistently make time for much needed date nights. Trying to balance family and career is an ongoing challenge.”

Kenya Moore

The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s resident caflama queen, Kenya Moore, managed to win the hearts of many of the show’s fans, instead of getting their ire up in her usual fashion, after seeing her go through a heart wrenching scene on Sunday’s episode. Kenya attempted to once again reconnect with the woman who gave birth to her but instead faced rejection in the cruelest way. Instead of opening the door to her daughter, Kenya’s mother, Patricia Moore, who was allegedly home, ignored her and did not let her in. The rejection resulted in a tear-jerking moment for many who watched the drama unfold. Kenya decided to share with her fans via Instagram, the pain of being a motherless child by allowing them to glimpse 42 pages of a memoir she has penned.

In the five-chapter excerpt, Kenya takes her fans along a journey that is ridden with angst and tears. Readers get to understand the inner workings of her complex family dynamic, as well as the intricate non-existent relationship with her mother. In an Instagram message to her fans, Kenya explains about the upcoming literary work:
