Atlanta Housewives Nene Leake’s Marriage Under Pressure After Son’s Drug Arrest

According to a new report, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Nene Leakes‘ marriage has been under a lot of pressure since the recent drug arrest of her son, Bryson Bryant.

Bryson was arrested earlier this month for possessing less than an ounce of marijuana, and for failure to show up to court. A source tells RadarOnline, “It has put pressure on her relationship with her husband Gregg Leakes who is not Bryson’s real father as they both know that he’s still drinking and smoking with his buddies.”

The source continues, “NeNe perceives herself as a real socialite in Atlanta and she does not like the fact that Bryson’s arrest generated bad publicity for her and she is worried that he might get into more trouble in the future.”

It seems the pressure on Nene’s marriage is coming from disagreeing with her husband on the best way to discipline Bryson, who is an adult. “It might make for good material for the new Housewives series but the reality is that it has put a lot of pressure on her relationship with her husband and she’s really worried that her son is falling in with a bad crowd,” adds the source.

Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kim Zolciak: Yes “I’m Bisexual”

Kim Zolciak, star of the Real Housewives of Atlanta has had a change of heart, and is now admitting her long rumored lesbian relationship with DJ Tracy Young.

Kim gave an exclusive interview to Life&Style magazine in which she admits she is bisexual. She also appears on this week’s cover of the magazine.

This is all the more interesting considering Kim denied having a romantic relationship with DJ Tracy just this month, even telling numerous media outlets that she was back with the still married Big Poppa aka Lee Najjar.

According to Kim, the reason she lied about denied her relationship with DJ Tracy was because she wasn’t ready to come out. We can only hope Tracy is well aware of Kim’s pathological ways.

Excerpts from Kim’s interview with Life&Style is below -

L&S: Can you pinpoint the moment when things became romantic?
Kim: There were sparks, but [physically] it was a gradual situation. Tracy made the first move. Our first kiss was passionate and exciting.

L&S: Were you ever tempted to deny your relationship with Tracy?
Kim: No. I’ve never denied anything. I don’t lie. I’m not embarrassed by anything I’ve ever done in my life. But I wasn’t ready to discuss it when the story broke. I hadn’t even had the chance to talk to my family about it. It was so unfair.

L&S: Do you feel you’re giving a voice to other bisexual parents?
Kim: I’m among the millions of parents who have been in a gay or lesbian relationship. It hasn’t been an easy road lately, but I feel there are no mistakes in my life. Everything happens for a reason. To have the opportunity to speak for myself and to have people understand what I’m going through is really special. I myself was confused and scared at first. Being able to speak from my heart and get this all out, it’s a huge relief for me.

Photos – Bravo Housewives & Reality Stars Attend NYC Upfront Party!

Bravo held their 2010 Upfront Party at theSkylight Studio this week in NYC, and all of our favorite Housewives as well as other Bravolebrities were sure to be in attendance.

The upfront party is when Bravo announces what is to come during their next season of television.

OK magazine was there and was able to report some behind the scenes moments. Representing the Real Housewives of Orange County were Alexis Bellino, Lynne Curtin and Gretchen Rossi, who did not seem phased by their new competition – the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The OC ladies joked that they did hear the Beverly Hills Housewives all have their own private jets.

The Real Housewives of NYC’s Jill Zarin, Ramona Singer and Alex McCord hit the red carpet together during which Jill would not reveal whether or not she and Bethenny will reconcile, simply saying “watch the show.”

Kelly Bensimon also hit the red carpet with LuAnn De Lesseps, and when asked how she thinks Bethenny will be as a mom, she replied, “I can’t really speak to that. I’m sorry.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta were the only housewives franchise to all walk the red carpet together. The Atlanta ladies are reportedly getting along better these days.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey were also in attendance. Danielle Staub walked the red carpet by herself, while the four remaining housewives stayed together.

Bravo Announces Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Confirms Return of 5 Atlanta Housewives, No DC Housewives?

Bravo made some major announcements this week about what is to come next season. The biggest announcement came in the form of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

There had been numerous rumblings and reports but Bravo has finally confirmed the Beverly Hills Housewives series will be the fifth spin-off based on the original “Real Housewives of Orange County.” No word yet on when the show will premier.

As for the cast, it has been reported Paris and Nicky Hilton’s aunts, Kim and Kyle Richards, have been cast. Kim and Kyle are sisters of Paris’s mom, Kathy Hilton. They are also former child stars. Restaurant owner Lisa Todd, who owns the swanky Villa Blanca restaurant in Beverly Hills has also reportedly been cast as a third housewife.

Real Housewives of Atlanta – Bravo also confirmed the return of the Atlanta housewives, more importantly they confirmed all five housewives will be returning. Kim Zolciak made recent headlines when she revealed she had yet to sign on for season 3. According to a report, the women will each receive $150,000 for their third season.

Real Housewives of D.C. – Notably absent from Bravo’s announcements were the Real Housewives of Washington D.C. which should have finished filming last year. If you recall, there was a big scandal with the White House party crashers, Michaele and Tareq Salahi, who were part of the cast though Bravo officially said they were simply auditioning them to be on the show. Michaele and her husband had filmed for months with other women, so it would be pretty much impossible for Bravo to air the season without them.

We also reported that Bravo was polling viewers last December to gage their opinion on the two. Guess we will all have to wait a little bit more to see about the DC Housewives.

Atlanta Housewives’ Nene Leakes Son Arrested On Drug Charge

More problems for Nene Leakes, star of the Real Housewives of Atlanta as her son Bryson Bryant was arrested this weekend on a drug charge, and failure to show up to court.

This isn’t Bryson’s first run in with law, as he was arrested back in 2008 for a sexual offense. No word yet on what happened with that case. Perhaps his failure to appear charge might be in relation to that.

According to the Gwinnett County arrest records, Bryson Rashard Bryant was arrested for possessing less than an ounce of marijuana. He was arrested on Sunday, March 7th and has yet to be released.

The 3rd season of the Atlanta Housewives begins filming this month.

UPDATE: Nene released the following statement regarding her son’s arrest – “Like any parent, I am disappointed with the actions and arrest of my son, Bryson. Certainly, my husband and I will deal with this family issue in a private manner. My son is not the first young adult to experiment with marijuana, and he certainly won’t be the last. Still, as parents, this is a chance for us to have an open dialogue with him about the dangers of any substance abuse. I realize as a parent that my job is never done. And as I’ve tweeted, tough love was in order. Still, I ask that you respect our privacy during this trying time.”

Kim Zolciak: I’m Not A Lesbian, I’m Back With Big Poppa!

It seems Kim Zolciak has decided she no longer needs the recent publicity she’s been receiving, and has now decided to come out and deny a lesbian relationship with DJ Tracy Young.

The interesting thing is the lesbian relationship rumors only started because of Kim’s doing. She was the one who insinuated she was dating the DJ back in December.

However, Kim has now decided to set the record straight. TMZ caught up with the Real Housewives of Atlanta star this week during which she denied the relationship. “Tracy’s a great friend of mine… I take pictures with a lot of girls,” said Kim. She’s “a great friend, I adore her” … just not in that way continued Kim.

Kim also confirmed she is back with the still married Big Poppa aka Lee Najjar. “Yeah, I’ve had the same ring for a year. He’s doing great, it’s been on and off, and now it’s in a great place.”

Nice to see Kim has gone back to doing what she does best – sleeping with married men. The new season of the Atlanta Housewives is scheduled to begin filming this month.

Kim Zolciak Lashes Out At NYC Housewives Star Over Lesbian Story

So is she or isn’t she? Just days after Kim Zolciak went on a radio show to proclaim she was back with her married “fiance,” Big Poppa aka Lee Najjar, UsWeekly printed an article claiming the Real Housewives of Atlanta star is a lesbian and will come out during the 3rd season of her show.

According to their source, “Tracy broke up with her longtime girlfriend to be with Kim. Since they’ve been together, Tracy lost a lot of weight and got really skinny for Kim. They seem to be beyond happy with each other.”

Their other source for the story? Well it was none other than Simon van Kempen (who is married to Alex McCord) of the Real Housewives of NYC. “The rumor is that Kim Zolciak will come out this season,” he told Us at the Season 3 screening party in NYC.

In Simon’s defense, he did use the word “rumor.” However, Kim didn’t take too well to this story or Simon giving his input. She took to her twitter page and posted the following just hours after UsWeekly ran the story, “WOW…who the hell is Simon van Kempen? Talking abt me in US weekly. Give me a break…Get ur facts straights, Never met that man in my life.”

But what Kim, 31, didn’t do is deny the story. In fact, she has yet to publicly deny dating DJ Tracy Young, or even deny being a lesbian. Another report from entertainment reporter, Marc Malkin of E! News, also claims Kim is indeed dating DJ Tracy. According to Marc, his sources also confirm to him that Kim has been dating Tracy for 3 months.

Some people who are not buying Kim’s new relationship are apparently some Bravo execs who feel Kim decided to “become gay” because having a juicy storyline could help her in negotiations. As we reported, Kim is still negotating with Bravo for more money to do the 3rd season.

Atlanta Housewives’ Kim Zolciak: I’m Back With Big Poppa!

It seems Kim Zolciak is done experimenting as she reveals her on-off-on-off again relationship with her married sugar daddy boyfriend “fiance” is back on.

This is all the more interesting as it was only 2 months ago that Kim insinuated she was dating DJ Tracy Young, who is openly gay. It seems that is now over, as Kim told Atlanta radio station Q100’s The Bert Show, “I’m still with Big Poppa.”

And though Bravo is set to begin filming the 3rd season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta next month, Kim surprisingly revealed she has yet to come to an agreement with the network because she is holding out for more money. “They need to up it … It was very dramatic and very traumatic last year. I’ve got to at least get paid what it’s worth.”

It has been reported Bravo has offered the ladies $150,000 each to do this season, a 50% increase from their pay last year. Kim however confirms Bravo has asked all five housewives back, what she cannot confirm is whether or not it will be as dramatic as the second season. “All the girls, we’re all getting along. We’re in a different place, we kind of know what to expect,” she says.
