Tonight is the conclusion of the three part Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion. It’s been a season of ups and downs and a whole lot of rehashed storylines spanning several seasons.
It looks like tonight will be an all about NeNeepisode and the rumors are rampant that it may be her last reunion if things don’t change to her liking. She’s been saying for weeks that if a few certain cast members return next season, she’s done for good (and that she feels anyone unmarried should be automatically out).
The reality TV viewer numbers are in and ready to be analyzed. Teen Mom OG saw its third increase in a row with 1.855 million tuning in this week. The mid-season finale of Dance Moms garnered 1.451 million viewers, bringing the season five average to 1.57 million viewers. For comparison’s sake, the season four finale attracted 1.619 million and the season average was 1.84 million.
Following part one, Bravo asked Claudia if she was surprised by Porsha.
“Absolutely not,” shared Claudia. “She’s been quite stank all season. The last time I was surprised at her actions was when we met for lunch way back in the very beginning of the season, because up until a week prior, I thought we were cool enough. Not friends or besties … but cordial acquaintances. But when she kept doing little catty things, I saw what it was.”
Kenya Moore has just been served… with a lawsuit! Janet Hubert who was hired to play the role of Kenya’s mother in the mysteriously-fated Life Twirls On announced that she had filed a lawsuit against Kenya for nonpayment.
Reacting to Janet’s lawsuit, Kenya says it has no merit, the allegations are false, and Janet’s claims dismissed. Kenya also accuses Janet of trying these same tactics in her previous place of employment!
“I don’t fight dirty and when it comes to my business I don’t play,” the Real Housewives Of Atlanta star announced via instagram. “There have been numerous false allegations made from Janet Hubert regarding non-payment for her work on the TV pilot Life Twirls Onand most recently criminal activity.”
Aaahhh… Kenya Moore, nothing is ever her fault and everyone else is trying to destroy her. Real Housewives Of Atlanta‘s no. 2 victim (second to NeNe Leakes) is slamming her co-stars and also defending herself against Janet Hubert, who filed a lawsuit against Kenya for non-payment of her work in Life Twirls On.
Speaking of NeNe’s recent complaints that unmarried Housewives should be fired, Kenya takes issue with the “shaming” that happens on RHOA. Of course, she never shames anyone, she’s just the victim of undeserved shaming. “These girls on this show – they want to call people delusional but they are the most delusional,” laments Kenya. “They feel as though because they have a husband they are in a better position than single women.”
“You can walk down the street, or go to a prison yard and find a man willing to marry you. I think it’s a bad message to send to the beautiful Black women out there,” adds Kenya. “Anyone can be married, it’s who you choose to marry.”
The ladies were both featured speakers at The Ultimate Women’s Expo at Georgia World Congress Center when the longtime enemies engaged in some serious pettiness backstage. Way to set the example LAAAAAAYDEEEES.
Someone who is surely Andy Cohen‘s spirit twin, or was a covert agent on behalf of WWHL Spytelligences, positioned NeNe and Wendy’s dressing rooms right next to each other which boded oh so perfectly for brewing conflict it was almost a docuseries of its own. When Wendy’s husband Kevin learned of the close-proximity to the Real Housewives Of Atlanta star, he demanded coordinators move NeNe to a different dressing room location.
But first, Kenya pointed out both the good and the bad about the reunions. As for the positive, she explained, “The reunion represents closure on all levels. I believe most women need closure.”
As for the negative aspect, Kenya shared, “Reunions are tough because you live through filming, then through seeing it on TV, and then again during the reunion. You can feel you have moved on from something difficult and then you have to discuss it and rehash it. I felt good about this reunion, because I have grown so much. I am stronger now and nothing or anyone can destroy me.”
This is the story all about how, Real Housewives Of Atlanta got turned upside down. And I’d like to take a minute – just sit right there – to tell you how I became the princess of an African who isn’t really there.
In Hotlanta born and raised, married to money, living in debt was where I spent most of my days. Fillin’ out maxin out AmEx all cool and starting gossip outside The Bailey School. When a couple of unmarrieds who were up to no good started making trouble in my Housewives hood. I got in one little affair with an African, the bitches got loud and said I’m stealing your crown.
I yelled and threatened day after day, to drag her MISS- WHO-S-A title down in shame. So I packed my Firkin and sent us all on plane. Buzzin’ on moscato and throwing’ out shade, I snapped a pic on my iPhone, and said, “I might as well tweet it, but the friendships still fake.’
