You know, I gotta hand it to NeNe Leakes she has learned from her mistakes and grown from them. Case in point, last season she gave Kenya Moore a chance but she has since seen the error of her ways and is henceforth intolerant of such "foolishness"! You and me both, Ms. Leakes!
The reality TV viewer numbers for Sunday and Monday are in – and the Real Housewives of Atlanta are back with a bang! The season six premiere pulled in 3.108 million viewers. No doubt RHOA will remain Bravo's number one show.
Last night was the season premiere of Real Housewives of Atlanta. I so forgot how deliciously shade-full and snarky these ladies are. Of course there was also Krayonce… who is just as kraysane as always!
Everyone has had a lot going on since last season. NeNe Leakes re-married Gregg, as we know, and is now like Veruca Salt in a chocolate factory, opening all her wedding presents. Once such wedding present is a $400 Hermes plate from Teresa Giudice. Teresa needs to ask for that plate back. #NotARichBitch
NeNe is ripping through the wrapping paper going 'For meeeeeee….?!' when Gregg reminds her it's actually "for we". Apparently not – it's NeNe's world and we're all just living in it. <Snaps>
The ladies of Real Housewives of Atlanta are coming back with a vengeance, and it appears from the previews for the upcoming season that Cynthia Bailey and husband Peter Thomas are once again facing financial hardships as their new bar is facing foreclosure. It's very reminiscent of the couple's Uptown restaurant that causes a major strain on their relationship.
This time around, Cynthia is trying to face the situation with a cool head and a plan of action. Speaking to Radar Online, Cynthia reveals, “When Peter told me about the issues we were having at Bar One, I immediately felt deja vu: ‘Here we go. We’re back to Uptown.' Financial issues are just huge in a new marriage. We were struggling even to get married and then once I finally feel like I’m seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, I got hit with the bomb.”
Cynthia continues, “That was devastating because I’m not comfortable when things are going crazy. I like to have a plan and I like the plan to work. I don’t want to do all those steps and then it just backfires and we’re back to square one.”
Kandi dished about her lawsuit with Kim Zolciak and her engagement to Todd Tucker. Kenya also chimed in about her landlord lawsuit, her "maybe" engagement, plastic surgery, how much money she made on "Gone with the Wind Fabulous" and so much more!
Andy starts off reading a Tweet that NeNe Leakes responded to during tonight's airing of RHOA:.
Kenya sniped back, "I want a career that happens over time, not just one season." (referring to Nene's show The New Normal only going one season).
We've heard there's been all kinds of drama surrounding the casting this season, including allegations that NeNe Leakes accidentally assaulted producer Carlos King in the midst of a scuffle with former "bridemaid" (who does not understand the definition of the word "maid") Marlo Hampton.
NeNe is also apparently feuding with Kenya Moore, and if anyone noticed Walter Jackson attending herI Dream Of NeNe wedding, while Kenya was conveniently absent, I'd say that tension is real! The fact that Bravo is reportedly STILL FILMING and has not released the promo photos seems to confirm the insanity.
Also confirming the cray-cray is Phaedra Parks. "As a group, there's always some contention among us," Phaedra reveals to TV Guide. "But this year, unlike any other, each lady is also dealing with her own personal things."
Real Housewives of Atlanta'sNeNe Leakes may be super rich y'all (and boy does she like to tell us about it!), but that doesn't mean she's immune from the clutches of Uncle Sam! These housewives are so predictable, right? When they're up, they're selling cookbooks and doing spin-offs, but when their down, it's all about the tax liens!
Now, just because NeNe has been slapped with a pesky lien doesn't mean she isn't still rolling in the dough…but it's dough that got her into this mess in the first place–pizza dough, that is!
