Real Housewives of Atlanta

Phaedra Parks talks Kandi Burruss and Cynthia Bailey

It’s no secret that Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss’ friendship has hasn’t been the strongest lately, nor is it a secret that Parks has never been the best of friends with Cynthia Bailey. But recently on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, we’ve watched as Phaedra and Kandi attempted to iron out their issues, while Phaedra also made an effort to connect with Cynthia. Does that mean they are all friends?

Not so fast! Phaedra recently dished on both Kandi and Cynthia, and while she would love nothing more than to be able to repair her friendship with Kandi, it’s going to take some time. As for Cynthia, Parks insisted that she reached out because she can empathize with her, but will they ever be close again? Get all of the details on what Phaedra had to say after the jump.

Kenya Moore

Kenya Moore stopped by New York Live earlier this week to dish on her Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars. Unsurprisingly, Kenya did not hold back, sharing what she thinks about Kim Fields, NeNe Leakes, Sheree Whitfield, Cynthia Bailey, and the peachiest of them all, Peter Thomas.

Kenya acknowledged that Kim threw her “a lot of shady looks” when she asked her to help direct Life Twirls On. “I wasn’t expecting that,” she admitted. “In the coming weeks, you’ll see if it’s a good fit or not.”

It’s hardly a mystery, as Kenya‘s opinion of Kim turned sour, “You know, some people are made for reality TV and some people aren’t. I mean, you have to be kind of interesting, right? I don’t [find her interesting].” OUCH!!

NeNe Leakes is gearing up to start her second Broadway turn next week in “Chicago,” playing Matron “Mama” Morton.  Since she’s in NYC, rehearsing for her new gig, she stopped by The View this morning to dish on everything from marriage to Gregg, starring on Broadway and being grateful for The Real Housewives of Atlanta

The ladies bring up the fact that NeNe remarried Gregg and she says that love is definitely better the second time around.  She says she loves having a husband, “I love companionship, love being married.”  When Joy asks why they split to begin with, NeNe evades answering with specifics and just says she “had to teach him lesson – never to cross me.”

Kandi Burruss maternity photos

Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker will be welcoming Baby Tucker in early January. To celebrate they threw a “Kandiland” baby shower attended by several of their celebrity friends.

The Real Housewives Of Atlanta stars are excited to be having a boy, however, since Kim Zolciak stole their baby name, Kandi and Todd “can’t agree on names right now. We keep going back and forth.”

I wonder if the Kandiland themed shower was filmed for Real Housewives Of Atlanta? Or if Kandi and Todd have another spinoff in the works?

Kandi also posed for a maternity photoshoot and unveiled the images at her baby shower.

RHOA Recap - Duke'd

Here’s what I have to say about this season of Real Housewives Of Atlanta: I think I’m gonna like it here. This season things are progressing – storylines are moving. We are no longer subjected to the same tired fake feuds and the men are messier than the Housewives. Is that Bravo’s version of feminism?

Last night we met Kim Fields, and I am so happy she did not appear during Kenya Moore and Sheree Whitfield arguing over who is the most broke. Let’s be honest: it’s a tie! Like, I wouldn’t bet a half-finished glass of Franzia on the these two getting their houses finished in a timely manner. They oughtta both get some luxury RVs and plop them on their respective properties. Or pool their resources to construct a Chatfaux SheMoore Messor.

Kenya Moore on Watch What Happens Live

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore and rapper/record producer T-Pain were Andy Cohen‘s guests on Watch What Happens Live tonight. Kenya dished on her drama with Sheree Whitfield, her business meeting with Kim Fields, her issue with Peter Thomas, and more.

A caller asks Kenya why she felt the need to attack Sheree week one.

“I don’t think I went hard on Sheree,” says Kenya “who me?” Moore. “I think that I was just answering the questions that were asked. Even on this episode, we saw Kandi [Burruss] talking about Porsha [Williams]‘s guy dating some transgender. We’ve heard girls talk about other girls and deliver the news. I was just delivering the news. You cannot blame me for that.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta - Season 8

Tonight’s episode of Real Housewives Of Atlanta introduces new Housewife Kim Fields. Kim is peachy-keen to bring something different to Atlanta, but promises she’s no replacement for NeNe Leakes! Thank Goodness.

Kim has admitted that joining Real Housewives Of Atlanta was a culture shock, and with all the crazy unfolding this season she stepped in to steer these girls straight.

“I don’t know that I wanted to be the mother bear,” Kim laughs. “I think that I’ve always been a nurturing kind of person. I’ll be prepared with snacks and a towel if we’re going to the lake. I think it’s more just from that prepared kind of thing, or you know, voice of reason sometimes.”

Kenya Moore dishes on her spat with Sheree Whitfield

The showdown that began this week on The Real Housewives Of Atlanta between Kenya Moore and Sheree Whitfield has been all that the ladies have been chatting about. Well, that and the Peter and Cynthia debacle, but more so, Sheree and Kenya. Sheree already dished her thoughts, claiming that she was not responsible for starting anything, but it was all Kenya’s fault.

Meanwhile, Porsha Williams agreed, adding that Kenya Moore could have handled things differently, and guess what? According to Moore herself, she “could have taken the high road,” but she chose not to. Classy as always.
