Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion Spoilers Revealed!

We all knew the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion (filmed last week) would be a dramatic one! The ladies of Atlanta kept mum on all the drama save for a few cryptic tweets, but despite the online silence things got heated!

StraightFromTheA gives some behind-the-scenes spoilers on what really happened. First of all, for all the mishaps that concern Kim Zolciak-Biermann, she was pretty much a non-entity at the reunion!

Apparently Kim and Kandi Burruss weren't allowed to discuss the on-going Tardy For The Party lawsuit per Bravo's orders. I am sure that Phaedra Parks, as part of Kandi's legal team, also advised against it!

Since everyone was over Kim and her antics, she was largely ignored. She had a mild altercation with NeNe Leakes but then essentially faded into oblivion in favor of bigger dramas. As it should be.

Kandi Burruss Speaks Out About Suing Kim Zolciak Over ‘Tardy For The Party’!

Kandi Burruss is finally speaking out about the lawsuit she filed against Kim Zolciak over 'Tardy For The Party.'

Kim has been doing nothing but talking – and trashing Kandi – to the media, on twitter, and with ~~really badly written and poorly edited~~ PR statements. Now Kandi, represented by fellow Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks, is explaining what led to the lawsuit. And as predicted Kandi is saving most of her comments for their day in court!

"It’s time for the whole ordeal to be over. I asked TuneCore to take the song down in December 2012. They did. Kim sent an affidavit to put it back up, which they did," Kandi reveals in her statement. "TuneCore then informed me that in order for the song to be taken down permanently I would need to file suit to have it removed."

Kandi and co-plaintiff Rodney Richard (aka Don Vito), who is the co-writer and co-producer, are suing TuneCore along with Kim!

Kim Zolciak Releases PR Statement Defending Herself Against Kandi Burruss’ ‘Tardy For The Party’ Lawsuit!

Oh, Kim Zolciack-Biermann… the wig doth protest too much!

A week after Kandi Burruss filed a lawsuit against Kim in federal court over royalties, non-payment, and rights to use the song 'Tardy For The Party,' Kim continues to desperately exonerate herself by slamming Kandi in the media and on twitter. Among other things, Kim has called Kandi a famewhore seeking publicity and a liar. Kandi has not commented.

Going one step further, the Don't Be Tardy star put out an official press release giving her perspective on the lawsuit. It is of no surprise that Kim takes no responsibility and accuses Kandi of lies and negligence. Furthermore this is the most professional (ha!) press release ever. Is Brielle not only Kim's songwriter but her PR rep too?

"The lawsuit led by Kandi Burruss and Rodney Richard aka Don Vito against Kim Zolciak-Biermann over the song 'Tardy For The Party' is without merit and suspicious in its timing," Kim's official statement begins.

Real Housewives of Atlanta Recap: The Ex Factor

Last night on Real Housewives of Atlanta we dealt with the ghosts of fauxlationships past when ~~Bravo~~ the ladies did everything in their power to force a confrontation between former ~~business partners~~ boyfriend and girlfriend Kenya Moore and Walter Jackson. Much to my dismay, that did not happen. As a small consolation we got several delusional talking head rants from Kenya and one Kenyantrum.

Before any of that happened Porsha Stewart tried to navigate the nearly impossible task of taking a pregnancy test. EPT stands for Error Proof Test… until Porsha gets her hands on it! Girl actually thought you had to pee for two whole minutes instead of waiting 2 minutes for the results.

Porsha and Kordell poured over the instructions in panicked frustration for about an hour like it was a map to buried treasure. And Kontroll doesn't want to hire a nanny? Lord help us all… And correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Porsha pregnant before? She has definitely done the whole pee on a stick song and dance. Anyway, she's not pregnant. And poor Porsha looked really sad to realize that once again the yams had not worked. All she got for her troubles was some orange poop and one completely apathetic Kontroll. Worst. Reaction. Ever.

Oh the drama of Real Housewives of Atlanta! In a new interview Phaedra Parks talks her image on the show, the future of her empire and the songs she loves by RHOA ladies.

Apparently Phaedra is even busier than we imagined! Currently pregnant with her second son, Phaedra is working on a book, her mortuary science degree, a possible spinoff, and is still active in her legal practice. Oh – and she's planning to return to for another season of RHOA! Dang lady, sit. down. Some excerpts are below!

On being portrayed accurately on RHOA, of which she has a remarkably relaxed attitude:

"What you have to realize is that it is television. Television is a medium for entertainment, it’s not a documentary, it’s for entertainment and I think you are definitely entertained," Phaedra shares with Complex.

"It’s an ensemble cast so you’ve got six or seven of us and you’re seeing a limited amount of our time. The show breaks everything down into 10 or 15 minute segments so of course it can’t catch every facet of a person's personality but it is what it is."

Kim Zolciak Responds To Kandi Burruss’ ‘Don’t Be Tardy’ Lawsuit! Plus, Is Phaedra Parks Representing Kandi?

Things are getting heated and dangerous in the land of Real Housewives of Atlanta. I cannot wait! Lord knows I love a legal drama!

Kandi Burruss, along with co-writer and co-producer Rodney Richard are suing Kim Zolciak for non-payment and improper use of copywritten material over the song "Don't Be Tardy." The suit was filed in federal court.

Well Wigs is not taking any accountability in the matter! Oh Kim… ~~You know if the tables were reversed Kim would hunt Kandi down and waterboard her for that money!~~

"This is nothing short of a publicity stunt, I find this lawsuit funny yet sad," Kim told Too Fab. "Coming after me now and this song is 4 years old? I have in fact overpaid Kandi and have documents to prove it and my legal team will handle this accordingly."

Walter Jackson Slams Bravo For Not Inviting Him To Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion

The drama surrounding today's taping of the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion is happening both on and off camera! First we have Kandi suing Kim and now Walter is airing Bravo's dirty laundry!

Walter Jackson must not have signed any iron-clad confidentiality agreements with Bravo, because he's determined to make everyone realize that the whole storyline involving him was a sham. Bravo cannot keep Walter silenced. He took to Twitter to vent his frustrations.

Walter started off with, "Yeah I think TV meaning (Br_) is scared of me, they can't control me and they can't tell me what to say, So that's y they WON'T INVITE me."

Kandi Burruss Sues Kim Zolciak Over Don’t Be Tardy For The Party! Kim Responds!

I guess this is one bridge Kim Zolciak-Biermann has officially burned!

Years after the release of Don't Be Tardy For The Party (which also spawned the name of Kim's two spinoffs), the original writer of the song Kandi Burruss is suing Kim for nonpayment!

Kandi was shown writing the song on Real Housewives of Atlanta. She also produced the song for Kim. Several times she tried to recoup monies owed to her for both royalties and production/writing fees. Kim made a ton of excuses and then used the money to buy wigs, cigs, and other Kim necessities, like self-tanner and booze.
