Real Housewives of New York

Ramona Singer blog

This season on Real Housewives of New York, Ramona Singer is constantly bragging about all of the dates that she goes on, so it seems like she loves the single life and dating around, but apparently she still has a bone to pick about her divorce from Mario Singer.

Surprisingly, Ramona’s beef is not actually with her cheating ex husband. Instead she supposedly confronted a publicist about her role in the demise of her marriage which sounds like a textbook case of projection and deflection.

Jason Hoppy Charged

Jason Hoppy has been the source of much speculation and – according to the Manhattan Supreme Court – continued stalking of ex-wife Real Housewives Of New York star Bethenny Frankel. Two new counts of stalking were added to the three Hoppy was already charged with back in January, after he allegedly told Bethenny, “I will destroy you, you can get all the lawyers you want, you’ve been warned,” at their 6-year old daughter Bryn’s school.

After the January incident, plus sending approximately 160 threatening emails to Bethenny over a period of months, Jason was charged with aggravated harassment in the first degree, harassment in the second degree and stalking in the fourth degree. Since then, Jason has asked the judge to throw the case out, even refusing a plea deal (which demanded he take anger management classes) to put the case to rest. Instead of complying with Jason’s requests, however, Judge Phyllis Chu slapped him with two more charges – due perhaps to new evidence submitted in the case.

dorinda

This isn’t saying a lot, but this Real Housewives of New York season isn’t a good look for Ramona Singer. And no, I’m not talking about her high ponytail from the last episode. She has been more irrational and spiteful than ever before. Her latest move? Inviting Tom D’Agostino’s former love interest Missy to her party even though she knew that both Tom and Luann de Lesseps would be in attendance. Is that a coincidence? Dorinda Medley sure doesn’t think so.

After all, Dorinda is the one who introduced Luann and Tom in the first place, so of course she’s going to support the newlyweds. Plus it’s really just ridiculous that Ramona is still trying to push their buttons even though they are legally married.

Bethenny Frankel

Even though Bethenny Frankel was more focused on selling her apartment than hanging with her Real Housewives of New York costars last episode, she sure has a lot to say about everything that went down. Obviously she called out Ramona Singer for inviting Tom D’Agostino’s former flame to her party.

Bethenny also had a lot to say about the new girl Tinsley Mortimer, which is pretty surprising considering that she doesn’t have much a story line this season, but then again there’s pretty much nothing going on so far. Hopefully it picks up, but in the mean time, as her last name suggests, Bethenny has some surprisingly strong opinions about Tinsley’s return to the Big Apple.

Luann, Tom, Missy on RHONY

I will never get over Luann de Lesseps asking “Is it about Tom?” last season on Real Housewives of New York. Not only was the moment hilarious and instantly iconic, but it was also clearly prophetic since RHONY is all about Tom D’Agostino these days.

This week’s episode was no exception since another one of his former flames took center stage. This time it was Ramona Singer’s friend Missy who appeared in a previous episode and was clearly invited to instigate controversy. Speaking of controversy, Ramona made sure her newly renovated apartment got screen time since she invited everyone’s ex Harry Dubin to the soiree too.

Tinsley Mortimer

To be honest, Tinsley Mortimer is in over her head with the Real Housewives of New York cast. She just seems way too nice and (relatively) normal to survive among the sharks. Then again, this season is so boring, it’s hard to judge how she would be on a RHONY season at its typical caliber.

During the last episode, Tinsley was (finally) looking around at apartments so she can move out of Sonja Morgan’s townhouse. Other than that, she had the misfortune of being cornered by Harry Dubin at Ramona Singer’s party. I have no idea why people are still inviting him to things, but he always brings the drama and it’s much-needed this season.

Ramona Singer on Watch What Happens Live

In a not-so-shocking turn of events, Ramona Singer is getting on a lot of people’s nerves this season on Real Housewives of New York and the Berkshires trip did some irreversible damage – to Dorinda Medley‘s home and her relationship with Bethenny Frankel. Ramona refuses to take any responsibility for wrecking Dorinda’s Berkshires house, but surprisingly enough she is actually sorry about the way she treated Bethenny.

Either way, Ramona is way out of her league with both Dorinda and Bethenny against her at this point. She may be an OG of RHONY, but she’s not equipped to handle this by any means.

Luann-De-Lesseps-Looking-Side-RHONY

On last night’s Real Housewives Of New York, Carole Radziwill and Dorinda Medley take it to the streets, heading to D.C. for the Women’s March, while back in NYC Ramona Singer shellacs her hair back in a tragic Blonde-Ambition-meets-Pinot-and-Ambien look and throws a party with the shadiest guest list she can summon. Ramona’s informant friend Missy, who accused Tom D’Agostino of snogging her in a limo while concurrently being engaged to Luann De Lesseps, is resurrected from her UES cryogenic chamber for the evening to confront the recently married couple. Meanwhile, Tinsley Mortimer continues planning her escape, and Sonja Morgan tries to understand what the hell Frenchie is saying.

We begin with Tinsley and Carole meeting for lunch, where they break Tinsley’s sad situation down: She’s living with an oppressive tyrant and needs to move out. Her mom is coming into town to help her apartment hunt, in fact. Carole and Tinsley were also invited to the Winter Botanical Garden, which solidified them as new “pals” in the social rags. It also helped Tinsley’s socialite comeback tour, which she still sadly imagines is real.
