Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Aside from that one argument with NeNe Leakes, Claudia Jordan’s time on Real Housewives of Atlanta is easy to forget. After all, she was only on the show for one season. Even so, she says that she was asked to come back for more, but she still didn’t get that offer to hold a peach in the opening credits, i.e. a full-time spot as a Real Housewife.
Claudia explained why she left the show after she was offered the opportunity to be a “Friend of the Housewives” and threw some shade at her former costars.
That last episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills had me feeling vicariously overwhelmed for Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave. Yes, she did manage to stir the pot by telling Lisa Rinna about some unflattering comments Dorit Kemsley made three months ago, but it really didn’t seem like pot stirring was her intention.
It came across like Teddi felt genuinely guilty keeping this to herself, it was killing her not to get it off her chest, and then she realized that all of those shit talking scenes were filmed and she would have to answer for them eventually. And then her tension with Dorit morphed into a tongue lashing from Erika Girardi. Teddi insinuated that Erika was lying when she told her she has “pretend amnesia.” I don’t blame Erika for being offended, but she channeled that Hong Kong freakout and came for Teddi- way too hard.
Is a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills comeback in the works for Brandi Glanville? This sure seems like a possibility. Andy Cohen recently appeared in a video message for Brandi when she was on Celebrity Big Brother. Soon after, Brandi appeared as a guest on Watch What Happens Live.
So it seems like she is still cool with Andy and the Bravo network, but what about the Beverly Hills cast? And that is the obstacle Brandi needs to overcome if she does want to reclaim her diamond. Andy is on board with Brandi’s return, but there’s something she needs to accomplish for that to happen.
Wow. That last Real Housewives of Beverly Hills episode was intense. Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave decided to tell Lisa Rinna about something Dorit Kemsley said three months prior using her accountability coach job title as an excuse for her honesty. On one hand, it makes sense that Teddi would want to get that off her chest, but the timing could have been way better. Why wait that long and until they were actually getting along?
Then the tension between Teddi and Dorit turned into a face off between Teddi and Erika Girardi. Teddi accused Erika of having “pretend amnesia.” Erika interpreted that as Teddi calling her a liar and Erika showed a level of anger that we haven’t seen since that Hong Kong freak out. Teddi shouldn’t have insinuated that Erika was lying, but Erika struck back at her a little too hard. It really didn’t seem like Teddi was trying to stir shit up, but her attempt to do the right thing blew up in her face and she left the restaurant crying. It’s a messy situation all around, but have no fear: Dorit was on Watch What Happens Live last night to make everything even messier.
What is wrong with the women of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills? Why can’t they just let things go and get along? This week’s chief beater of the dead horse was Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave. As she’s a horse lover she must feel terrible.
I’ve appreciated Teddi all season. She’s come across as logical, sincere, and not overly eager, but she and Dorit Kemsley are like a two-headed monster each biting their shared tail and each refusing to take ACCOUNTABILITY. They started out as friends until a small infraction came between them, which ballooned into a zeppelin and now they cannot stand botoxed hide, nor fake hair of each other. To this point I’ve mostly placed the blame on Dorit for having Rinna-itis. Dorit called it “rage and regret,” but I call it shoot your mouth off, then realize later that you probably should’ve kept your mouth shut, and backpedal the $3M dollar car you can’t afford into a ditch.
However last night Teddi reignited a deceased feud for apparently NO reason other than to cause issues between Dorit and Lisa Rinna! It was revenge gossip, or repeat and revenge. And it was petty.
Camille Grammer has been making cameo appearances on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for the last few seasons, but it just wasn’t the same as the Camille we first “met” during the show’s first season. Apparently she just needed to face a formidable opponent. Now that Dorit Kemsley is around to irritate the shit out of her, Camille has no problem calling her out for her antics.
Camille has been a very active tweeter all season long. Dorit is more into posting photos of herself on Instagram than sharing her thoughts on Twitter, but she did log in long enough to respond to Camille’s criticisms and it’s way more interesting than this season’s current disputes over glassware & showing up late.
We are at the point in the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season where I want to bang my head on my keyboard over and over. Each season we wind up in this beating the dead horse game of she said this about what so and so said about xyz situation and it just goes on and on and on and ON in this never-ending cycle of blame and denial and ridiculousness. And after watching the previews for tonight‘s episode, it’s going to carry on.
