Melissa Gorga has just survived a Housewives reunion. And now she's hoping to move forward.
"If I had to sum up this season of Real Housewives of New Jersey, I would say it's been very therapeutic," Melissatells OK! Magazine. "We've been through all the types of therapy that we could possibly go through."
Annnnd Melissa admits – none of it worked! "Maybe we could use a little more," she acknowledges. "We needed the outside voices to come in and tell us to shut up and sit down. I do think we made an accomplishment and I think we got somewhere this season."
Even though this season of Real Housewives of New Jersey is still not over rumors concerning the next season's cast are already relentless! The most exciting rumor currently circulating is that Dina Manzo may be rejoining the show. Unfortunately there's a little snafu in the way: Jacqueline Laurita. You know that sister-in-law Dina doesn't actually speak to anymore. Oopsie!
Well no problem, because Dina can just get her fired! 1-800-Andy-Cohen. Or not. Yesterday Dina denied that she was trying to get people she no longer speaks to fired. Thank goodness because no one wants ANOTHER season of family drama, do they?! Same story + different players = no bueno. Anyway, now Jacqueline is confronting the rumors on twitter – where else!
"I don't think Dina is trying to get me fired but I know she doesn't want to come on the show with me on it.Probably to avoid any conflict," Jacqueline begins. Interesting that Jacqueline seems to admit both that Dina IS joining the show and that she is in fact LEAVING the show! #Drinking&Tweeting
Caroline has made no secret that she wishes Al were more present in their marriage and would consider retiring. But now sources tell Perez Hilton that their marriage is majorly on the rocks and Caroline is forcing Al to spend time with her! They do seem really disconnected, I mean he seems like he never wants to be around. Sad.
After suffering through the last Posche Fashion Fiasco she'll ever have to endure, Caroline reflects on the tumultuous season 5 ups and downs and is happy with how things ended. Here's hoping she's not singing a different tune after the reunion – which is allegedly very cathartic!
"The fight at Moxie was awful and pretty ugly to witness," Caroline begins in her Bravo blog. "I will never understand the motivation behind the attack on Melissa [Gorga], Joe, Chris, andJacqueline [Laurita]. Complete strangers were willing to take marching orders to hurt people they've never, ever met before. Somebody tell me why, I don't get it. That's all the attention this mess gets, not worth my time. Shame on all of you."
Basketball Wives, which garnered 1.816 million viewers, and RHONJ were the only two shows to see an increase this week. The relationship drama on Teen Mom 3 attracted 1.213 million viewers. That's down from last week's 1.429.
Today, Dina Manzo and sister-in-law Jacqueline Laurita are acting anything but close, which shouldn't come as such a surprise, given that Dina has distanced herself from all of her fam…especially sister Caroline.
Of course, with the new rumors that Dina will be making a triumphant return to RHONJ, it isn't all that strange that people are whispering that Jacqueline has been given the ax by Andy Cohen. With Caroline starting her own reality show, Jacqueline would be the only person Dina would have an issue with if she were to come home to Bravo…and we all know how much Andy loves Grandma Wrinkles Dina.
Bethenny quizzed Kathy about her motivation behind joining the show.
Bethenny: How are you finding a balance with the fact that your entire family is on television and it turned out so differently. You probably thought it was a fun thing when you started and now you are in this web.
Kathy: Well that's what is hard because you don't know what's going to come up and you don't know what everybody else is thinking but at the end of the day my husband and I decided that we are going to do this. Our foundation has always been solid and what happens in our home and behind our doors when we close the door that is going to remain solid. Everything else, is secondary.
