Apollo will serve an 8 year sentence for various financial frauds and also owes about $1.9 million dollars in restitution. His wife Phaedra Parks was not at his sentencing and the couple is reportedly on the brink of divorce, although neither has filed. In fact Apollo himself admitted that he does not think his marriage will be in tact following his prison sentence. “I doubt [that my marriage will survive this]. My wife didn’t even fu**ing show up for my sentencing. I’m still kind of salty about that,” he confessed in an interview last month.
Amid copious rumors about who’s been fired and who is staying, along with rumors that Phaedra Parksquit the show and NeNe Leakes refuses to film with anyone, the entire cast went on the trip – which also included newcomersClaudia Jordan and Demetria McKinney.
A source shared with us that on Friday night Miss Twirl was boo’ed on stage at a Boyz II Men/En Vogue concert in Atlanta! Our source dished, “I went to the Boyz II Men and En Vogue concert Friday night in Atlanta and Cynthia and Kenya came out on stage to introduce Boyz II Men.”
Okay, so not completely wordless. We’ll just say Porsha Williams gives us her best Pocohontos while on vacation in Puerto Rico with The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast (more pics coming up). We’ll leave the rest of the words to you….
Phaedra Parks has been radio silent on Instagram and Twitter as of late. After her husband, Apollo Nida was indicted on fraud charges and sentenced to 8 years in prison and ordered to pay back the $1.9 million, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star took a much needed break from social media.
Not sure if Phaedra took the time to work on her marriage, or prepare for a break-up, but one thing is for sure. When Phaedra returned to Twitter she came back with a bang and let the cat out of the bag when it comes to the premiere date for our favorite Southern Housewives.
Wearing a wet suit, scuba mask and flippers, NeNe took the challenge that is sweeping the nation. The whole idea is that when challenged, you have 24 hours to either make a $100 donation to alsa.org or you get a bucket of ice water dumped on your head. But almost everyone is doing both the donating and the dumping and with a huge celebrity push, this has become one of the most successful fundraisers ever.
This month NeNe nabbed the cover of Pose Magazine, while Cynthia nabbed the cover of Kontrol’s “Fabulous At Every Age,” edition.
“Thank you Pose for choosing me to Grace your cover! Pick up your copy of Pose Magazine and read my amazing interview speaking on motherhood, being a wifey, friendship, my clothing line, my production company, my Glam’baby, RHOA and my future!” NeNe wrote on instagram.
