Three seconds after Bravo fired Aviva, she announced her participation in the next season of Marriage Boot Camp Reality Stars. Apparently, Aviva thinks RHONY took its toll on her marriage, and Reid Drescher agrees. So naturally the couple agreed to appear on a second reality TV show to talk about the fact that they believe reality TV has ruined their marriage. Only in FameWhoreVille does this make any sense.
According to the disgruntled ex-manager, Reid and Aviva were paid $100,000 for Marriage Boot Camp, and she was promised a 10% commission. Well…
When you want to get the dirt on the Housewives, it’s always best to go straight to the source. The King of Bravo Andy Cohen recently opened up about his most difficult interview and some casting drama surrounding Real Housewives of New York. As y’all know–and as Elton John would say–the bitch is back!
Okay, so I personally don’t think Bethenny Frankel is as awful as many viewers do…I just think it’s annoying when she pretends to eat fattening food and then models her four-year-old’s clothing. Of course, that’s neither here nor there, but Bethenny’s return is sure ruffle some feathers. Andy admits that he’s right in the thick of it as well.
Listed as “currently separated” Mario is seeking an “active” woman who “loves sports and working out.” And he makes it very clear he wants someone who is the opposite of his wine-ing Real Housewives Of New York star ex-wife. Mario says he wants someone who will,”Enjoy the simple things in life and not be pretentious and in need of impressing other people.”
Instead of spending more time in therapy, Josh made things up to Kristen by buying her new boobs for their anniversary. The couple just completed 1o blissful years together and decided to celebrate by filming a vow renewal for Real Housewives Of New York. Didn’t we already have one of those when Ramona Singer re-pledged her love to Mario? Well, we know how that turned out!
If you’re like me, than the news that Bethenny is returning to Real Housewives Of New York sent you scrambling to watch old episodes. You know, so you could remember a time when you actually liked Bethenny before she started sabotaging her marriage and faking story lines on her spinoff Bethenny Never After!
After 3 seasons away from RHONY, in which Bethenny divorced, underwent an acrimonious custody battle, TMI’d her every waking moment in tabloids, and attempted to spin herself into a talkshow mogul’s whose only guests were Bravolebrities before being canceled. Now Bethenny, undergoing withdrawal from lack of attention, decided to come back to RHONY to “save the show.”
I don’t know if if will work in the long run but Bethenny promises the show feels fresh and new, and at least for a few episodes we’ll all tune in to see what she’s up to. Oh, but it already looks like Bethenny is having issues – she’s pretty been absent from filming because ex-husband Jason Hoppy is blocking Bryn from appearing (as per their custody agreement). We’ll see how much of a storyline Bethenny actually gives us besides spilling about why she divorced in an effort to renovate her image and swilling products from the endless well of Skinnygirl.
Bethenny is back to hawking her Skinnygirl wares as if this was 2010 and the last four years of spinoffs, big business breaks, marriages, pending divorces, babies, failed talk shows and failed Skinnygirl products never happened. Bethenny is currently promoting a Skinnygirl cocktail book because um… you need that if you’re fancier than buying her bottled mixed drinks.
This week Bethenny appeared on The View where she seemed nervous, tongue-tied, and a bit jittery over being confronted about her major lifestyle change (i.e. how the mighty has fallen). She also promoted her new book Skinnygirl Cocktails. “It’s a great little guide,” she quipped. “All the drinks are under 150 calories.”
Bethenny‘s currently in the middle of a press tour for her books, Cookie Meets Peanut and Skinnygirl Cocktails, so now she’s promoting the books AND she’s talking about the ratings challenged show. As they say, timing is everything.
In a recent interview with Extra, Bethenny talked about her decision to return to Real Housewives of New York, her personal life, and her reaction to Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Teresa Giudice‘s prison sentence.
