"This season looks very different from the last one — there will be the usual screaming, crying and drinking, of course. But let me put it this way, this season Ramona [Singer] is the voice of reason – well, with a few hiccups,” Carole elaborates. I refuse to believe Pinot is the voice of anything except Turtle Time and I stand by this judgment until the bitter end.
Carole also reveals that despite the insanity, she has no regrets about joining. She says, "it’s not as though it was a life-changing decision, like having a kid or getting married. It’s a TV show, and life goes on.”
Which means that Pinot Singer and her turtle-timing crazy is the last original Housewife. This season features plenty of traveling as the ladies celebrate summer in the Hamptons and go on a glamping trip in Montana!
Per the press release: "This season follows the ladies as they mix business with pleasure, party like rock stars, summer in the Hamptons and allow their emotions to get the best of them any chance they get. Old rivalries will be reignited and new ones born, all while emotional twists and turns, surprise romantic encounters, and passionate arguments keep everyone guessing where people’s true loyalties lie."
LuAnn de Lesseps was the last lady to sign her contract and rumor has it she accepted a pay cut in order to return. LuAnn admits because of the contract battle she won't be appearing until the third episode of the new season – and not only that her role has been reduced. So what made LuAnn return?
"The show has been a part of my life for so long," LuAnn told E! News. "There's a special place in my heart for the show, for the women, I'm really close to the women on the show. I just made the decision to step back so I can spend more time doing my things with business and my family."
Don't worry though – she's still causing trouble! "The drama is unavoidable. So yes, I'm a part of the drama—absolutely!"
Well this is totally unprecedented! Seriously, it's like uncharted Bravo territory. I don't even know where to start. Has Andy Cohen signed off on this major occurrence?
We are all far too familiar with the fact that the Housewives franchise is the jumping off point for drama-fueled ladies and their wine/cookbook/work-out ventures, but now a Real Housewives of New York newbie is switching up the entire protocol. She's trying to get her product out there before we've even seen her on the show!
This week some of our favorite Bravolebrities gathered for WNBC's private Christmas tree lighting party in NYC and it seems that maybe love was in the air during this magical holiday event!
Our man about town Tom Murro was in attendance at the soiree and shared some tidbits on the get-together. "What can I say? It's a magical event in the greatest city in the world. Caroline Manzo, who's been to the party a few times before, really enjoyed the tree this year – and Al's arms too."
Aside from Caroline and Al, other Housewives in attendance includedAviva Drescher and husband Reid, along with Kathy Wakile's sister Rosie Pierri. Rosie was in great spirits and Tom reveals that she had a possible date with her, Ellen. Tom says Rosie's plus one was "sweet as could be." Rosie has been spotted with Ellen at a few events since October, so it's possible these are two dating, but trying to keep things quiet.
Last week at the Human Society To The Rescue Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street, Jacques was pimping his new wine and talking politely about his former lady love, The Countess.
Jacques had a tasting table set up at the event for his newest wine venture Gabriella Wines and chatted up Tom Murro on their split. "Jacques was in a super great mood, he goofed around posing for pics with me and my +1, Olympic Skating great Sasha Cohen, in the photo booth. He didn't seem heartbroken and didn't have a bad word to say about the Countess."
