I cannot be the only one who feels like the instant friendship between Vicki Gunvalson and Kelly Dodd is less than genuine. Maybe they ended up being really good friends, but it’s pretty obvious that their immediate kinship came from a place of attention-seeking desperation.
We are only two episodes into Season 11 of Real Housewives of Orange County and it’s very clear the the rest of the cast can’t stand Vicki for all of the Brooks Ayers-related bullshit that she put them through last year. Vicki needs friends and Kelly needs to get some camera time if she wants to stick around on the show so it makes total sense for these two to link up. That’s not how Vicki sees it though, or at least that’s not the justification she has for this new relationship.
Heather Dubrow is definitely the most diplomatic cast member on Real Housewives of Orange County. She is the epitome of class and she is one of the few housewives who doesn’t use her spare time to be a shit stirrer. So when Heather is mad at someone, it is always for a good reason – minus that one time in Season 8 when she got mad at her husband Terry Dubrow over some onion rings.
But anyway, Heather is clearly the most reasonable person in the cast, not to mention the nicest, so this means that she really thinks that Vicki Gunvalson screwed up since she refuses to forgive her for her involvement with her ex Brooks Ayers’s cancer scandal. So why can’t we actually have new story lines in season 11? So why can’t Heather move on?
When Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson are on the outs they’re really, really on the outs. With so many years of history behind them, these broads really know how to sling that mud! Vicki is actually so furious over Tamra badmouthing her, she hopes Bravo will take legal action. OK, uhhh… wait – what? Like you lied about cancer on TV, and like huh? I mean … anyway, I’ll just let you lovely people read-on!
Tamra has decided she’s had enough of Vicki for the rest of the season her life, and has been accusing her of betrayal – again. Tamra also wants Vicki fired from Real Housewives Of Orange County(which is a losing battle for sure).Since it’s a very thin line between love and hate (especially if you’re a Housewife!), Vicki and Tamra have been warring back and forth on twitter, and in the press, about who is worse. Hmmmm… despite the whole Brooks Ayers debacle I still say it’s a toss-up!
It is so obvious that Kelly just wants to stir shit up and get attention by being nice to Vicki. She can’t claim to not know her past situation while at the same time citing that she has compassion for her. Pick a stance, girl. Now she is weirdly against Shannon Beador after she is the one who gave pretty much everyone a terrible first impression with her attention-seeking antics. Insulting people’s parenting and putting your boobs in their faces is not the best way to make friends – or to be a well-liked reality TV star.
Heather promised that while the next few episodes are easing us in by introducing Kelly, and reconnecting the women, things really take off in a few episodes. “This was a building episode,” she says. “A lot of information was sort of subtly given, so I hope people were really paying attention.”
There have only been two episodes of Real Housewives of Orange County’s eleventh season and I’m already so over Vicki Gunvalson and her extremely forced friendship with Kelly Dodd. It is so obvious that they both just want to hang out so they can get camera time since they have no other friends in the cast.
I don’t get how Meghan Edmonds is Kelly’s link to the group since Kelly immediately started sucking up to her nemesis from last season. This Kelly girl comes off as an attention-seeking shit stirrer. So I would love to know what Meghan thinks of letting her “friend” into the inner circle.
Last night someone on Real Housewives Of Orange County was diagnosed with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Of course that’s not surprising. At. All. But what is surprising is that Kelly Dodd claims it was her husband Michael, former COO of a massive company, who was the afflicted. Are we sure Kelly didn’t misread something? After all, she isVicki GunvlasonJr. – and we know how Vicki happens to misread medical documents!
Oh last night was a doozy. Everyone is on a yacht with Vicki fauxpologizing to Heather Dubrow about her presumed role in the Brooks assumed cancer scam. Obviously this conversation went on and on, but we got like 4 disjointed snippets of Vicktim pretending she has no idea why the women are angry with her after she admitted to seeing “red flags” but reacted by yelling, “Buy my cancer juice! Love my boyfriend! I Do! I DO! I DO! I DO! Oh wait – there’s no altar, but I do see a cross! I’m persecuted like Jesus! WOO HOO!”
Last night on Watch What Happens Live, Tamra Judge and Odd Mom Out’s Jill Kargman (love that show!) hung out with Andy Cohen in the clubhouse. They joked about Tamra’s dark spray tan against Jill’s bright white skin (Twilight meets Dynasty), Tamra dished on more Vicki Gunvalson drama, a caller tried to get a rise out of her, and so much more.
Andy plays the clip of Vicki sobbing in the limo on last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Tamra says, “It’s heartbreaking. I don’t want to see anybody upset and hurting but you gotta do the right thing. She made zero effort with any of us. The last time I saw her was at the reunion show. She Tweeted saying she apologized to everybody, but she didn’t. So it was an awkward feeling at the boat because she didn’t make an effort, so we didn’t make an effort. When I was in front of her I was very nice to her but she really stayed away from everybody.”
