Season 9 kicks off April 14th. Friendships are put to the test, says Bravo, when the "quirky yet fearless" Shannon Beador and "opinionated beauty queen" Lizzie Rovsek blast onto the scene with fresh attitudes and bold opinions. The line for the Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Barney, and Heather Dubrow pity party forms to the right, my friends. See ya on the left – I'm excited for new blood.
Meet Shannon and Lizzie, as well as a new friend of the housewivesDanielle Gregorio, and check out Real Housewives of Orange County's trailer and cast photos below.
Vicki is still with Brooks Ayers (although they reportedly officially broke up during filming) and he's still wreaking havoc with her family. Vicki also deals with daughter Briana, who is pregnant again, potentially moving to Oklahoma where husband Ryan is stationed. Tamra and Eddie juggle expanding their business and potentially expanding their family (via adoption). And custody drama.
Four select ladies from various Real Housewives franchises banded together to film a bit for the upcoming Bravo Upfronts. The Upfronts is when Bravo dangles its most popular shows to hype the upcoming seasons. Not being seen at the Upfronts probably means you won't be seen on TV. Unless of course you're select members of Real Housewives of New York. Case in point: Sonja Morgan.
During last year's Upfronts Sonja was in a contract dispute with the network and was a no show – mainly because she was rumored to be uninvited!
Wow. Just when I thought Tamra Judge couldn't get any tackier or more hateful, she goes and does something incredibly gross and mean girl. I guess it's just par for the course with the Real Housewives of Orange County star. I'm not even going to try to be nice on this one.
Tamra recently was insulted by a follower on Facebook, and Tamra responded in just the most horrific way. Now, I'm not saying it's okay for someone to say ugly things behind the anonymity of the computer (wait, what am I doing now? #irony), but reality stars put themselves out there for the public to admire or deplore, and they should probably have somewhat of a thick skin. Again, I don't condone regular old folks bashing them on social media, but geez, Tamra, take the high road!
Perhaps this isn't all Tamra's fault, however, because Danielle joined the show with the sole intent to cause major drama and concrete her place on the show! “Tamra believes that Danielle is a fame whore,” a source explains. Which, hello! – takes one to know one.
Danielle Gregorio is a mom of three and party planner. Danielle is a friend of Heather Dubrow, who campaigned hard to get her on the show – and Danielle definitely does not plan to be subject to the newbie curse of being on your best behavior!
“Danielle wants to be famous and is willing to go to great lengths to accomplish that," a source reveals to Radar Online. "She said she is going to create sh*t to make the drama for the show." As a friend of a veteran housewife she is well-versed in what it takes to create controversy and get noticed with outrageous storylines and dramas – she is not above making things up to get that storyline either.
From the sound of Gretchen's Twitter, she just wanted to show off her new dress. "So much fun today with @azadehcouture & going to her trunk show! Thank you for my beautiful pink dress, so many compliments today! Perfect fit, great color, amazing fabrics!"
While neither Vicki or Donn has to pay the other spousal support (although it could be requested if one has a significant change in income), they are both leaving their marriage with some pretty padded pockets. Houses and cars and 401Ks, oh my!
