"Fancy Pants" seems to be stepping on some toes this season on the Real Housewives of Orange County, but our girl Heather Dubrow will just let all the drama pass on by while she drinks her "champs" and continues to tell the girls exactly what she thinks.
After the drama unfolded last night — from Hawaii to a dinner party back in the OC — Heather took to her Bravo blog to tell her readers what is really going down.
So! Shannon Beador. Oh my. On one note she's sort of quirky weird, she's also sort of crazy insane, but at the very least she's very real. She just puts it alllll out there. Whew.
Last night on Real Housewives of Orange County, Shannon's marital implosion continued. This lady's love tank is filled with cruelty-free diamonds, and non-toxic particalizied air mixed with lavender scented essential oils but not love.
Things begin in Hawaii where Tamra Barney is trying to be a good friend to Vicki Gunvalson. You can see Tamra struggling, reading the cliffnotes she wrote on her hand about how to be empathetic and encouraging. These human emotion thingies are foreign concepts. Heather Dubrow is nodding and smiling, shooting Tamra reassuring looks that she's being OK. Remember it's like acting, you have to get into character she had coached her before this dinner while Vicki was examining seashells up the beach.
"Tonight's show was refreshing, silly and a lot of fun. True friends in Hawaii having a good time," Tamra begins. "Vicki [Gunvalson] learns the English language, I learn the proper temperature to store red wine and plumeria is not a venereal disease. No drama yet…but stay tuned!"
Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Barney is being dragged through the mud by her ex-husband, Simon, yet again. This time he is accusing her — in court documents — that she is an unfit mother who does not feed, seek medical care or bathe their three children on a regular basis.
Radar Online recently reported that Simon Barney filed court documents that claim Tamra, "has been very neglectful in her care for the children.". Tamra obviously does not agree with the allegations, taking to Instagram – posting the above photo with the caption, "She held my hand all night. I dropped her off at school afraid of what she might have to go through . She's so innocent." – and speaking to PEOPLE about how the allegations are really hurting their family.
I'll be honest, I wasn't over the moon (and I don't mean Dr. Moon!) with the premiere of the newest season of Real Housewives of Orange County. Thankfully, there are new ladies to detract from the same old mean girls who have been instigating the same drama year after year. Whoever could I mean? That said, I'm going to go on the record by saying I like Shannon Beador, although that opinion is clearly subject to change…and change back, and then change again. Sure, she's wacky, but she still doesn't have that hardened "I need to act a certain way around the cameras" demeanor…although I'm sure it will come if she sticks around. It always does.
In her inaugural Bravo blog, Shannon sheds some light on her eccentricities, and I find it refreshing. The majority of us didn't have cell phones as tweens (granted, because they didn't exist) and we're still here to tell the tale! Shannon begins, "Hello everyone! It is very exciting to be writing my first blog! I readily admit that I choose to live a lifestyle that is quite different from most people in Orange County and am looking forward to giving you a glimpse into my life! It is surreal to watch real things that have happened played back to you on a TV screen and after watching the first episode of the season, there are things that I am both happy and not so happy with. Let's dive into it!"
Gretchen recently made the announcement — because you know so many people were asking — on her Facebook page, "Announced on Friday! For those of you who are asking…yes I'm on new show with Slade called Marriage Boot Camp on @WETV starting May 30th!"
