The three co-stars spoke with E! and gave their thoughts on the situation now that this new info has come to light.
“I pray for him. I would want to tell him that I hope he finds the truth somewhere in his life. The truth will set you free. It’s a very sad and disgusting situation. I never believed I would be surrounded by such lies but hopefully now we can focus on the truth.”
Let’s see Brooks Ayers talk himself out of this latest revelation! The Real Housewives of Orange County supporting player, who was front and center all season, has been flaunting his cancer “proof” in interviews as of late. “Proof” that was fishy, at best. Well, Brooks’ “proof” just went POOF!
E! news reached out to City of Hope after all of the controversy over the possible fake “chemo bill” that Brooks produced last week in an interview segment with E!. Brooks said it was proof that he was receiving cancer treatments at the clinic and indeed has cancer. Well, City of Hope just shot Brooks’ claims all to hell. The hospital spokesman shared with E! that Brooks was “never treated for cancer” at their facility.
This Friday Vicki and a mystery man were spotted at The Ranch, an Anaheim, CA restaurant. In stealthy photos captured of the two it appears the Real Housewives Of Orange County star is holding hands with the man later identified as Smith Walker. That name cannot be real – it sounds like it was manufactured from a BuzzFeed Quiz about what your name would be if you were a liquor.
Heather Dubrow is on fire right now! The Real Housewives of Orange County star has been a busy busy bee since filming ended for season 10. Heather has not only been supervising the building of her mega-mansion with Dr. Dubrow, she’s been co-hosting a successful after show for his E! series, Botched, called Botched: Post Op, then there’s the new skin care line she and Terry launched. Heather also debuted a podcast recently – Heather Dubrow’s World – and it’s already a smashing success.
Heather shared yesterday that her podcast is #3 on iTunes already! After just one episode.
Heather kicks off her podcast with Five Minutes of Heather, a look back at how she came to live in California. “I do come from New York,” she says. “I was actually a theater major in college, and I thought I was going to go to Broadway. But we had a friend of the family who was producing Divorce Court in Florida – Yes, I know you may think Divorce Court was real. I think it was based on actual cases, but… – I had two episodes. In one, I played an agoraphobic ex-ballerina lesbian. It was a script. It was an acting gig.” Ha! Ha! I think this is way more entertaining than rehashing the Vicki and Brooks drama for the millionth time!
“I have always been a really big supporter of Vicki and Brooks – Terry and I both have been,” says Heather. “I’ve been getting a few comments about why am I betraying her or ganging up on her, and I don’t feel that’s so. I feel like I’ve tried to give her every opportunity to be a supportive person for her. This all started because Vicki went on Watch What Happens Live a few weeks ago and said to Andy that none of the cast has reached out to her since she broke up with Brooks. I know she’s spoken to Tamra. For me, I texted her that day and I said, ‘Have fun in New York. Break a leg tonight.’ Even though I’m not happy with what the situation is, we’re cast members, I have feelings for her, we have a relationship, and I just wanted to reach out. She wrote me back a really nice text. I thought we were good. Then she said no one‘s reached out to her.”
E! has been airing snippets of Brooks’ interview on their site and dropping bits of it during evening airings of their news show. Yesterday Brooks shared “proof” with them about his cancer in the form of a supposed chemotherapy bill, and verbally confirmed that he has Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and says his lesions are gone. He won’t say he’s in remission, but things are “normalized.”
