Bravo released, “Just up the river from our nation’s capital lies a hidden gem – Potomac, Maryland. Its rolling hills, gated mansions, sophisticated prep schools, and exclusive country clubs all serve to keep the area invitation only. Sprinkled throughout this community are a handful of old-line, wealthy African-American families who have historically broken racial barriers to provide a life of privilege for their children.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac follows the lives of Robyn Dixon, Karen Huger, Gizelle Bryant, Katie Rost, Ashley Darby, and Charrisse Jackson-Jordan. “In a town where entry is granted only through class, pedigree, and lineage, how far will these ladies go to secure their spot at the top of this prestigious circle?” teased Bravo. In SUR years, Katie Maloney is considered nearly retirement age, which makes her somewhat of an authority on the new blood joining this season’s cast of Vanderpump Rules! After all, she’s been through the Stassi Schroederwringer years, she’s seen Vail Bloom blow in-n-out so fast, we almost got whiplash. As for this season’s newbies, Katie is loving Faith Stowers so far, but the same can’t be said of castmate Lala Kent.
Katie shares, “Being a veteran at SUR, now-6 years and counting, I have met and trained most of the new servers. My first impression of Faith was that she was very laid back and personable. She wasn’t shy and was very candid in our conversation from the start. I knew I would get along with her.” Although Faith has limited serving experience, Katie says she doesn’t mind offering some extra support to help Faith “keep her job.”
“Real Housewives of Potomac is the show you never saw coming, and it is going to take everyone by surprise!,” said Andy. “As for Real Housewives of Dallas, it is a natural extension of the franchise with a Southern twist that ‘y’all’ will enjoy.” A shout out to our readers who guessed “Dallas” in our Poll Party!
Some may think Kristen Doute was busy needling a James Kennedy voodoo doll full of holes after the airing of Vanderpump Rules this week. And those people would be (nearly) correct! After witnessing James’ on-camera apology to Kristen over his supposed PG-13 “indiscretion” with Jenna (after Scheana Marie’s birthday party), Kristen then got a first-time glimpse of James’ televised interview. You know, the one in which he bragged about “boning” Jenna after all?!
Kristen admits she was initially forgiving of James because, “At the time, I didn’t really have a reason not to believe James and DAMN his story was convincing. There was a slight doubt in my mind, but I blamed myself for that because of the mistakes I had made (and lies I had told) in past relationships.” She argues, “James did his homework and knew exactly how to play me. Watching the episode back I felt naive and betrayed. To hear him compliment Jenna at the after party the way that he did, as I sat there, and then brag about ‘boning’ her while I stupidly took him back was beyond humiliating.”
E! confirmed this afternoon that they have ordered the new 8-episode series “Famously Single” and announced the first season cast will include Brandi Glanville,DJ Pauly Dand more.
The “finding love” style reality show will not only feature Brandi and Pauly D, but also former Bachelorette star Josh Murray, singer Aubrey O’Day, model Jessica White, Somaya Reece, Willis McGahee and Calum Best.
We’re only one week into season 4 of Vanderpump Rules, and Kristen Doute is already fighting off rumors of her own making. Last week, Kristen posted a pic of her undergoing facial reconstructive surgery, captioning it: “just because you don’t remember it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen! how I spent my #pumprules premiere.”
The post made people wonder: did Kristen get into a scrap at the VPR premiere party? Did Lisa Vanderpump finally haul off and punch Kristen in the eye socket? Was Giggy involved!?!?! Alas, no. None of the above. Kristen was simply getting her face fixed from falling out of an Uber a few weeks prior. You know, like we all drunkenly do from time to time!
It won’t be long before Claudia Jordan is on our TV screens again. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star announced the news on Instagram: “I can FINALLY share the good news about what I have been secretly working in. A new reality show that is going to change the way you look at reality television!”
The reality show – The Next 15 – is being produced by Carlos King, who also produces Real Housewives of Atlanta,Hollywood Divas, and Selling It in the ATL, and is filming in L.A. The Next 15 follows six “iconic” former reality TV stars who are – as the title suggests – looking for their next 15 minutes of fame.
Wait, what? We thought that Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott were done with television after the train wreck they called True Tori wrapped up- or at least that is the impression that Dean gave us all in his interviews after the show had aired. Somehow, we just knew that the couple, who have been plagued with money troubles in the past, would make their way back to television, because – well, they have to support their lavish lifestyle, after all.
And we were right! Tori Spelling, Dean McDermott and the family did indeed make their way back to television, but this time, it wasn’t the drama filled antics we saw on True Tori. Instead, Tori and Dean (with the help of their kids), took on a cooking special! Get all of the details after the jump.
