On this week’s episode of 16 and Pregnant, sixteen-year-old Danielle Cunningham of Columbus, Ohio finds herself pregnant with boyfriend Jamie Alderman, a high school drop-out, after only a few months of dating. I fancy myself to be devoid of most human emotion (kidding…kind of), but this installment was heartbreaking to me.
We learn early on that Danielle had aspirations of becoming a lawyer which were quickly curbed by her partying ways. Her mother Casey, who gave birth to Danielle at sixteen, sends her wild daughter to live with her grandmother (Casey’s mother) forty-five minutes away, which is where Danielle meets Jamie. Once pregnant, Danielle moves back in with her mom, who feels overwhelming guilt for putting her daughter in the same situation she was in as a high schooler. Jamie, looking forward to fatherhood, visits his girlfriend often (thanks to the help of friends and family, as he has lost his drivers’ license–prerequisite for being on this show??). He reveals that he likes Danielle because they have “actual conversations;” however, if these awkward talks are what the young folk are deeming “actual conversations” then most of the chatty people I know are extreme over-achievers in the verbal world.

Similar to the scoreboard from Monday night, landing in the bottom two were Ralph Macchio, who had to dance through a knee injury, and Romeo, who gave two solid performances.
Ultimately, the viewers decided there was still a lot of dance left in Ralph as Romeo, 21, and his partner Chelsie Hightower were eliminated.
“I’m surprised because that was one of my best dances last night,” said Romeo. “But I’m not surprised, because of the competition this year — anybody could go at any time, but we went out with a bang. That’s the most fun I had in my life… I was terrified of dancing,” he added. “I didn’t dance at my own prom… I think I’ve showed kids anything is possible if you try.”
Romeo then expressed his gratitude to his partner Chelsie. “I wanted to do this for you. We can dance after this,” he said. “I’m super happy and so proud of you,” responded Chelsie.
Next week is the semi-finals, airing at 8/7c on ABC.
TELL US – DID THE VIEWERS GET IT RIGHT WITH THE VOTING? WHO DESERVES TO WIN THE MIRROR BALL TROPHY?
As the second season of Bethenny Ever After comes to a close, everything Bethenny Frankel has been working towards throughout the season culminates with the speaking tour to promote her new book A Place of Yes and the sale of Skinnygirl Cocktails. Bethenny’s reason for going on tour: the most rewarding part of what she does is talking to women and sharing her experiences and the only way to accomplish this is to sell tickets to hear Bethenny espouse her knowledge and ideas since we don’t get to hear this weekly in the form of her show. This episode also contains lots and lots of talk about babies! Not just Bryn, but future Hoppy offspring presumably arriving in the very near future! Guys – here’s your trailer for next season: Bethenny: Baby Number Two? Since this show took place on a speaking tour and a tour bus, it was very dialogue heavy, with lots of footage of the tour and the bus, until the end when the results of the big sale of Skinnygirl are revealed. Then things get a little exciting.

The new series will follow Bristol, 20, and her son, Tripp, 2, as she moves from Alaska/Arizona to Los Angeles to work for a small charity in need and move in with Kyle, 19. Kyle’s older brother, Chris Massey, 21, will also appear on the show.
“Bristol is the kind of personality BIO is drawn to,” said David McKillop, Executive Vice President, Programming, A&E Network and BIO Channel. “Her personal life has been playing out in the media for several years but this will be the first time she’s opening up her real life, with her and son and her friends the Massey brothers.”
If you recall, Kyle also appeared with Bristol on the previous season of DWTS, and the two have apparently since become best friends. “Bristol and Tripp have to move to Los Angeles for her new job, she decides to move in with the Massey brothers who are also about to realize how much their lives are about to change,” says the press release.
The new series is set to debut in late 2011.
TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON BRISTOL’S NEW REALITY SHOW?
Tonight was the second part of the Bad Girls Club Season 6 Reunion, and it can almost be summed up like this: The girls hate Char, Nikki seems to be back in good graces, brawl with Char, bleeping out every other word, host Perez Hilton dressed in a gold toy soldier (or 1920′s newsboy?) outfit, bleeping, extension yanks, bleeping, more Char hate…and let’s top the whole thing off with a cake fight. Recap. Done.
Seriously, though. Char’s antics on the show alienated the girls who considered themselves her friends and were shocked to see what she said about them in her interviews. Jessica, my personal favorite, seemed especially hurt because she and Char did appear to have a genuine friendship throughout the season. Jennifer (the Jersey native who only lasted a few episodes and annoyingly talks out of one side of her mouth) had the most to say to Char, stopping only when audience member–and Char’s cousin–told her she was “gonna get dog walked.” Do you think that phrase is copyrighted, or can I introduce that into my every day conversation? Because I really want to start saying it.
I found it odd that the ladies hated Char but were willing to forgive the always instigating Nikki. However (and I guess it makes sense from a Bad Girls standpoint), all the girls felt that at least Nikki stayed true to herself and wasn’t fake and backstabbing like Char. Nikki was annoying when she moved into the house, and she was just as annoying when the season ended. Strangely enough, minus a few scuffles with Char, the girls were very nice to one another, even those who had been mortal enemies in the house. While this made it easier to follow along with the reunion (less security involvement = more actual conversation), it was pretty lame. Personally, I like when people get along, I can understand what they’re saying, and I never find out who is (or isn’t) actually sporting undergarments, but for a Bad Girls Club reunion, it’s the tamest yet.
Of course, even when they are talking (and not fighting), it’s hard to understand the girls, as their constant screaming during the first half of the reunion has rendered them all incredibly hoarse. However, without words, it’s clear that Wilmarie’s dress is a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen and former past season Bad Girl Tanisha is the only lady from the whole franchise with a legitimate job…even if that job is hosting Love Games 2 featuring has-been Bad Girls (I’m talking to you, Natalie Nunn).
HillbillyLauren and Jessica have let bygones be bygones, and it’s clear–even as castoff/deserters Sydney, Ashley, Jennifer and Jade return to dish–that all’s well that end’s well…except when it comes to Char. Funny, I do believe that Char got in the least amount of physical fights, which just means all the other girls were fighting EACH. OTHER. Whatevs, all is fine and Char is the bad guy…until Perez has BGC alums Amber and Kristen (love her!) bring in a birthday cake for Jessica’s big day. He starts a cake fight and it’s all fun and games until Kori gets cake in Jade’s hair. It’s hard to tell if they are joking or killing each other (hint, it was the latter), but Jade’s family comes at Kori. Once separated, Jade trashes a dressing room (which let’s be honest, it’s a BGC club dressing room, so all she really did was knock over a folding chair) and gives the viewers what they have come to expect from these reunions…less love (seriously, they all get along now except for Char??) and more “dresses hiked up, faux hair pulling, every word bleeped out” kind of entertainment.
Keep your shirts pulled down and your beads around your neck…Season 7 is leaving Los Angeles and heading to the Big Easy, New Orleans! It is set to debut July 11 on Oxygen.
TELL US – THOUGHTS ON THE REUNION AND THIS SEASON OF THE BAD GIRLS CLUB? WHO WAS YOUR FAVORITE & LEAST FAVORITE BAD GIRL THIS SEASON?
The five remaining stars were under a lot of stress as they had to do two dances last night: Their regular dance routine and an insta-dance, which meant they received the music for their second routine only 30 minutes before their performances.
Chelsea Kane and partner Mark Ballas received the highest scores of the night. In fact, the duo was only one point shy of getting the first perfect score of the season. Chelsea and Mark received a score of 29 for their almost perfect waltz. “You’ve finally found the perfect dance for Chelsea to shine!” said judge Bruno Tonioli.
Improving this week wasKirstie Alley, earning a very impressive score of 28 for her Argentine tango with partner Maksim. “Your body is shrinking, your talent is huge!” raved Bruno. Meanwhile Kirstie experienced yet another mishap but this time during her rehearsals. While rehearsing with Maksim, Kirstie missed a jump and fell off a stage. She blamed her fall for lack of sleep and forgetting to eat. Kirstie admitted to only taking in 1,400 calories a day and also revealed she is now down to a size 4 to 6ish.
Coming in last place this week was Ralph Macchio, who revealed last night that he was battling a bum knee. Ralph revealed he had missed a few days of practice after suffering a ruptured cyst behind his knee. Despite coming in last, the 49-year-old actor didn’t fare too badly, getting a 25 for his Viennese Waltz with partner Karina Smirnoff and a 21 in the insta-dance.
“For someone who’s had limited time to practice, you did a great job,” said Len Goodman. “The thing is, it lacked polish. You only get polish with time.” Despite his injury, Ralph remains in serious danger of going home tonight.
This week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County is pretty drama-free, relatively speaking. Peggy and Alexis continue to rehash and compete (with a photoshoot face-off being one of the night’s highlights), Tamra and Fernanda make nice, Vicki continues to struggle with her marriage issues, Gretchen heads to the Lone Star State to sell her wares, and Slade’s mom tells it like it is.
Tamra meets Lynne for lunch and Lynne asks if Tamra and Fernanda are an item. Tamra acts shocked but spills more of the details on the infamous kiss. She reveals that Eddie is convinced that Fernanda is in love with her. I am not so sure Eddie feels this way or if it’s more Tamra wanting him to feel that way, but regardless, we learn that the kiss did involve tongue, but thankfully, no “nipple tweaking.” Tamra always has a way with words.
Peggy goes to Alexis’ home to confront ask her why Jim wasn’t at the dinner party. In her interview prior to speaking with Alexis, Peggy says that as long as she’s known Jim “he’s never had a real job” so she’s not buying that “work” kept him from attending. Alexis is (finally) honest, admitting that Jim doesn’t want to hang out with the catty ladies any longer, and Peggy is hurt that Alexis didn’t feel as if she could tell her the truth earlier. Peggy presses to see if Jim has beef with she and Micah, and Alexis rambles on and on about how she’s too busy to have a social life, what with her perfect kids, and working out, and that whole fashion designer thing. Peggy brings up a time when Jim was very condescending to Micah about Micah’s lamborghini knowledge (seriously, who ARE these people??) and Alexis reminds Peggy that Jim has had four lamborghinis in the past. Ahhhh, now I get why this episode is called “It’s Not a Competition.”

Ramona Singer isn’t one to bite her tongue and she didn’t in a recent interview with Popeater.
If you recall, Bethenny Frankelgave an exclusive interview to the Hollywood Reporter last month during which Bethenny an unnamed “insider” told the magazine that Bethenny sold her Skinnygirl drink line to Fortune Brands’ Beam Global for $120 million! That figure has since been reported by pretty much every other media outlet known to man, with only a few questioning the authenticity of that number.
Well it seems Real Housewives of New York Citystar Ramona, who also has her own drink line of Pinot Grigio, is one of those few as she tells Popeater she doesn’t believe for a second that Bethenny really received $120 million for her company.
“Oh no, she likes to exaggerate,” Ramona told Popeater. “It’s rumored, remember? It didn’t say fact. Rumored.” Ramona adds that she suspects the actual figure is much less than $120 mil. “I was thinking before that figure came out she got about $30 million total,” Ramona said. “And divided that between her and her partners David, and usually they do a pay out, they don’t give you the money up front, they pay you out over time.”
Ramona does bring up a good point which is that Bethenny did develop her Skinnygirl cocktail line with partner David Kanbar. So if that reported figure is accurate, it’s safe to assume it had to be split.
As for Bethenny, she appeared on Watch What Happens Live last night and played coy when Andy asked her if she indeed sold her Skinnygirl line for $120 million. “Listen, I’m not going to kiss and tell. I’d be stupid if I did,” was Bethenny’s response. “I did really well. I can now you know take you out to dinner. I’m looking for an apartment now. But you know, more money, more problems,” she added.
And while Andy didn’t bring up Ramona’s comments, Bethenny did manage to say “Ramona’s off the rails more than she was on the first season,” when a viewer question asked her who she thought had changed the most on the NYC Housewives.
And finally, many are also questioning if Bethenny has had any recent work done on her face. Andy asked her this on WWHL and she denied getting any facial procedures. We’ll let you be the judge as the above photo of Bethenny (you can click on it to make it bigger) was taken just days ago at a recent event. What is interesting though is that Bethenny took a 2-week vacation back in mid April and unlike her previous vacays, no pictures of her surfaced during this period.
Meanwhile, the finale of Bethenny Ever After airs tonight on Bravo at 10/9c. Bethenny’s ever growing business hits an important point this week when she gets an offer for SkinnyGirl. The suspense is killing her, but when she finally reveals the number, will it be to her liking? Also, Bethenny takes to the stage to answer her fan’s questions about her journey and her business. And tough questions about her relationship with her in-laws, who also happen to be in the audience, come up. A preview clip is below -
