While MTV continues to prove it pays to be a Teen Mom, the original teen mom Bristol Palin is proving it REALLY pays.

See, after getting pregnant at age 17 in 2008, Bristol was hired by the Candie’s Foundation to become a spokesperson for abstinence, and yes, you read that right.

The AP reported this week that Bristol earned as astonishing $262,500 from the nonprofit Candie’s Foundation in 2009 alone for giving speeches about her experience as a teen mother and why kids should abstain from sex.

The founder of the organization however defends the gross amount. “Bristol did a tremendous amount of work for us — many, many days and weeks,” says Neil Cole. “She is such a lightning rod. Everyone is familiar with the Palins, and Bristol turned out to be, as someone said today, the gift that keeps on giving.”

And just in case you’re still confused or puzzled — Bristol, after getting knocked up at age 17, earned $262,500 the next year by becoming an abstinence ambassador. Yep.

In other news that will leave you scratching your head, Jersey Shore star Snooki is also on the receiving end of some backlash after it was revealed she earned $32,000 to speak to students at Rutgers University.

What makes the story more gross interesting is the fact that Snooki earned $2000 more than Nobel Prize-winning author Toni Morrison will get for this year’s commencement address. Oh but it gets better as Snooki’s speaking engagement only lasted 2 hours.

Snooki’s manager Dan Mackey attempted to defend his client by telling PEOPLE, “The $32,000 covered both shows, the host, all the travel and all the expenses. She roughly earned around $24,000 or $25,000.” Right, because that makes it much better.

The NY Post reports that a number of parents and Rutdgers students are outraged. “It’s disgusting,” said Nester Delgado, 43, whose daughter is a Rutgers freshman.”Next year, is it going to be J-WOWW or The Situation?”

“My tuition dollars wasted on Snooki,” a student wrote. “Rutgers probably could have paid her with a case of beer.” Can’t really argue with that point.

Members of the Rutgers University Programming Association (RUPA), which organized the event, are however defending the high speaking fee, stating the group had been looking for someone who could appeal to the student community. “We’re trying to provide different kinds of experiences to students,” said the group’s president, Ana Castillo.

So what did the Snooks talk about? She spoke about her signature hair pouf and GTL lifestyle while offering such advice as “When you’re tan, you feel better about yourself,” and “Study hard, but party harder.”

TELL US – THOUGHTS? IS THE WORLD GOING INSANE OR IS THE WORLD GOING INSANE?

Those wild and crazy kids of the Jersey Shore are already stirring up some controversy in Italy though they have yet to arrive for the filming of their 4th season.

See while MTV confirmed earlier this year that season four of the super mega hit show will be filmed in Italy, the show had yet to actually air in the country. That all changed this week when the show made its debut on Italian television, and let’s just say the Italians are no fans. In fact, the cast is now on the receiving end of some major backlash.

“They embody the worst stereotypes of Italians, multiplied by thousands and Americanized,” wrote columnist Roberto Del Bove in Rome newspaper New Notzie.

It only gets worse as a preview of the show posted on an MTV Italia website drew some nastier comments.”When I see this, I wonder whether [Osama] Bin Laden had a point,” lamented one poster, going a bit overboard perhaps.

“Slicked hair, exaggerated narcissism, boundless love for the family and outlandish eccentricity” is what was written about the show in another popular Rome newspaper, Corriere della Sera.

The Italians might be happy to know that only part of the fourth season will be filmed in Italy. This isn’t the first time the Jersey Shore clan has been criticized for their shenanigans as the show also drew major ire from Italian-American groups during their first season, leading to some boycotts by advertisers.

Love them or hate them, the show is definitely here to stay as the season 3 finale last week drew record ratings for MTV, with over 7.6 million viewers tuning in.

Speaking of season 4, RadarOnline is now reporting that there is a contract dispute brewing with some of the cast members. Apparently, cast members “Snooki, The Situation, JWoww and Pauly D have not finalized their contracts because they can’t agree on the amount.”

“As of last week Deena hadn’t signed her contract either but Ronnie, Sammi, and Vinny were done,” reveals a source, um does Deena not realize she’s very expendable?. “Time is short, everyone is getting concerned because they’re supposed to leave for Italy soon, I just hope they can settle it,” the source adds.

The cast also went through contract disputes last year as they went on a short strike before season three; eventually negotiating a 200% raise from $10,000 to $30,000 per episode.

And finally, the reunion show airs tonight on MTV at 10/9c. We will revisit the top moments of the show with the cast and also find out why Sammi and Ronnie broke up again for the 2000th time back in January.

TELL US – THE ITALIANS, THEY HAVE A POINT NO? PLUS THOUGHTS ON THE REUNION SHOW?

It seems following their most recent break up in January, the poster couple for on-again off-again relationships, Ronnie Magro and Sammi Giancola, continue to remain broken up.

In the latest issue of Life & Style magazine, the Jersey Shore stars open up about their break up and the reason they might be done for good this time.

According to Ronnie, he has now realized he and Sam are just better off apart. “Some people are just toxic to each other,” says Ronnie, adding that Sammie’s lie about hooking up with a friend on the show was also a breaking point. “Cheating is where I draw the line,” states Single Ronnie, 25, adding that he’s too young for a relationship.

Sammi, 24, reveals the guy Arvin was just a friend, but now she says she’ll never speak to him again. “I was given a bad-luck streak, and it was like everything at once came tumbling down,” Sammi tells Life & Style.

“We’re better off career- and health-wise figuring out what we need for ourselves,” adds Ronnie.

And sad news for fans of the show as the season 3 finale airs tonight on MTV at 10/9c. On the 13th and final episode of the season, “summer comes to an end in the Season 2 finale, which finds one couple reaching a crossroads in their relationship, while another couple makes theirs official.”

In other Shore news, Snooki continues to enjoy the good life as she was photographed in her bathing suit not once, but twice in the past week. First, the Snooks hosted a pool party at Wet Republic in Vegas wearing a bikini and a cover up, and then days later she was photographed in Hawaii in a one piece. More photos of the Snooks below!

TELL US – HOW LONG BEFORE RONNIE AND SAM GET BACK TOGETHER? PLUS THOUGHTS ON SNOOKI’S PHOTOS AND TONIGHT’S FINALE EPISODE?

It seems former Jersey Shore star Angelina Pivarnick is still a little peeved about the way her former roommates treated her, most notably Mike ‘The Situation‘ Sorrentino, who she now believes is “gay” because of the way he treats women.

“I think Mike is gay,” Angelina states bluntly to Popeater. “I think he’s gay because of the way he talks and the way he abuses girls. He talks down to women.”

Oh but Angelina had more to say, stating her past hook up with The Sitch was pretty lackluster. “I didn’t have sex with him but to be honest with you, to get a girl riled up to the point where you want to have sex, he doesn’t even know how to do that. I honestly feel like he’s in the closet right now; he doesn’t want to come out.”

Wowzers. As for Mike, his rep called Angelina’s comments “ridiculous,” adding that “obviously the only way she can get press is to slander my client. She’s become a circus sideshow. Kinda sad to see.”

In other Shore news, on-again off-again couple Ronnie Magro and Sammi Giancola continue to remain broken up for the moment. And when the HollywoodLife caught up with Ronnie this week, he made it clear he is still ‘Single Ronnie’ and had no plans to apologize to Sammi for the way he treated her on the show.

“I saw the whole season in advance,” Ronnie says. “It is what it is. It happened. You know, you learn from your mistakes and just go from there.” And when it comes to the upcoming 4th season, to be filmed in Italy, Ronnie reveals he is open to anything including hook ups with locals. “We’ll see what happens. We’ll see what it’s got!” said Ronnie.

And on tonight’s all new episode of the Jersey Shore, titled, “A House Divided,” Snooki and Vinny have a falling out; Mike continues to instigate drama between Sammi and Ronnie; Pauly and Vinny try to hook up with Deena’s friend, which doesn’t go over well with Deena.

TELL US – THOUGHTS ON THE LATEST PLUS TONIGHT’S NEW EPISODE?

According to numerous reports, Jersey Shore star The Situation experienced a bit of an ego bruise last night during the taping of “Comedy Central Roast of Donald Trump.

See, for some very odd reason, The Situation was made a part of the roast and he ultimately took to the stage at some point to tell his jokes… which bombed badly, to the point that he was booed off the stage. Below is an excerpt of what happened from the LA Times -

“”The Sitch,” as he’s called, deadpanned to [Whitney] Cummings, “I actually wouldn’t call you a grenade because you won’t be blowing up anytime soon.” (Buh-dum-bum!) He told Snoop Dogg that he and Trump had a lot in common because Trump owned a lot of property and Snoop’s ancestors were property. (Snoop did not appear amused.) Before long, the audience began to boo so loudly that comedian Jeffrey Ross, who’s been at this so long he’s known as the Roastmaster General, had to interject into the act to try to save the Situation, who’d already claimed he shared one quality with Ross: “This is my first night doing comedy.” “It’s also your last,” Ross responded, to overwhelming applause.”

In fact, one Comedy Central exec stated The Sitch’s jokes were so bad, that most of his act might be cut from the final broadcast. The roast will air on Comedy Central on March 15. Here’s to hoping the “jokes” will be left in so that we can all laugh at with the Sitch.

In other Shore news, there seems to be a small feud brewing between R & B singer Ne-Yo and Snooki, all stemming from Snooki’s recent Rolling Stone magazine cover.

It all started on Monday when Ne-Yo tweeted, “Wow. Snooki is on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. Really? I quit. (Just kidding, but almost serious….).” He later added that he wasn’t trying to diss the Snooks. “I gotta reiterate, no disrespect to Snooki,” he told E! News. “I don’t know her so I can’t disrespect her but I feel like Rolling Stone is a music magazine and for them to put her on the cover, it’s like, ‘Really?!’ “

Snooki however took the diss personally as she tweeted, “Neyo’s mad that I got the cover of rolling stone?…you lost a loyal fan. What a buzz kill.#sorry.” Ne-Yo however seems to be taking the loss of a fan in stride. “I think I’ll be all right,” he smiled upon being told of Snooki’s tweet. “I think I’ll sleep tonight.”

Finally, on tonight’s all new episode titled, “GTF—Gym, Tan, Find Out Who Sammi Is Texting,” things heat up between J-Woww and Roger; Pauly and Vinny take a road trip to Staten Island; and Mike clues Ronnie in on some of Sammi’s suspicious behavior. The episode airs at 10/9c on MTV.

TELL US – THOUGHTS ON THE LATEST WITH SITUATION & TONIGHT’S EPISODE? WHO’S SIDE ARE YOU ON WHEN IT COMES TO NE-YO VS SNOOKI?

No, hell has not frozen over, and yes, that is Snooki aka Nicole Polizzi gracing the latest cover of Rolling Stone magazine solo.

“Snooki’s Wild Ride – America’s #1 Party Girl” reads the cover of Rolling Stone under a photo of the Jersey Shore star on a rocket, and no, the rocket doesn’t take her out of space or to an alternate planet to never be heard from again.

The mag showcases the 23-year-old New York native’s fame ride from being a former veterinary assistant into a reality TV superstar with a best-selling book, a $20,000 personal appearance fee, a line of jewelry and a spin-off TV show in the works. And while the fourth season of the mega hit show is scheduled to film in Italy during Spring, Snooki reveals she is well aware her MTV days are numbered, and has devised a plan to extend her 15 minutes of fame.

Snooki On Plans After Jersey Shore – “When Jersey Shore ends I’m going to do more spinoffs,” Snooki tells the mag. “If MTV doesn’t want them, another network will be, like, ‘What does Snooki do now?’ or ‘Snooki’s getting married!’ What I’d like is to turn out like Jessica Simpson, with her whole brand. She makes millions. I’m trying to build an empire, because after this I can’t get a normal job. I mean, how do I go and sit behind a desk?”

Snooki On Being Tired of How She’s Perceived – “If I do something stupid, which is pretty much the whole time, I hate it. Obviously, they’re only going to put the good stuff in, and the good stuff is us drunk, so all I’m seeing is me drunk and falling down,” she explains. “That’s how I am when I party. But some of the stuff I do is, like, ‘Really, Nicole?’ I look like a freakin’ alcoholic. I’m like, ‘You’re sweating, your makeup is running, you look gross.’ I just look like sh*t.”

Snooki On Jersey Shore Being Like A Prison – “It messes with your head. That’s why we go crazy. That’s why we fight with each other. That’s why we drink,” Snooki tells Rolling Stone. “We’re living in a house for two months with that sh*t. We can’t have cellphones, TV, radio or the Internet. If the president died, we’d have no idea. There’s no normalcy. It’s just like prison, with cameras.”

Below are some more images from Snooki’s Rolling Stone article, including a childhood photo and photos of Snooki as a cheerleader in High School.

Moving on to tonight’s all new episode of the Jersey Shore. On the 10th episode this season, Sammi’s return to the house leaves Ronnie at a loss for words. Meanwhile, Snooki’s feelings for Vinny grow, and Mike hooks up with a girl who seems to have a strange odor.

TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON SNOOKI’S INTERVIEW & TONIGHT’S NEW EPISODE OF THE JERSEY SHORE?

In a new interview featured in the latest issue of UsWeekly magazine, Jersey Shore star Sammi Giancola explains why she took back ex-boyfriend Ronnie Magro after he destroyed all her belongings on the show in a fit of roid rage.

Yes, Ronnie and Sammi got back together following this fight which was filmed last September. In fact, the two had their most recent break up a little over a month ago.

“He’s a good person,” Sammi, 22, says of Ronnie, 25, who stomped on her glasses and called her a “spoiled bitch” during the infamous spat. “Nobody’s perfect. I get out of hand, he gets out of hand.”

UsWeekly adds that while the two remain broken up since January, Sammi has forgiven Ronnie and the two are now talking again. “Sam always has excuses,” a Sammi pal says of the reality star, who started dating Ronnie in summer 2009. “She kept saying that wasn’t the Ronnie she knew. Ronnie was verbally abusive for sure.”

Meanwhile, The Situation appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show this week during which host Ellen qeustioned him about his frequent hook ups on the show.

“In the last three years, how many girls have you kissed?” asked Ellen.”Ummm, really don’t keep count,” The Situation responded. “Do you want to guess?” Ellen went on to guess 1000, after which The Sitch responded, “You never know. That could be close,” he laughed. “I’m joking. I really don’t know.”

And finally, on tonight’s all new episode – the 9th this season — Sammi returns to the house, and Snooki‘s past hookups come back to haunt her. Later, The Situation pranks Snooki and Deena, but the other guys have the last laugh when they ditch him for taking too long to get ready.

TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON SAMMI’S INTERVIEW & TONIGHT’S NEW EPISODE?

While the world recently saw Jersey Shore stars Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola make up on the third season of the show, which was actually filmed months ago, it seems all is still well between the two castmates.

In a recent interview, JWoww reveals her biggest regret on the show, and no, it’s not that whole peeing publicly on the floor in a club thingy.

“I actually regret the fights that I did get in with Sam because I was in the same position she was a few years ago,” said JWoww on Sirus radio’s The Morning Mash Up!, referring to Sammi’s up-and-down relationship with Ronnie Magro. “I had a boyfriend lie and cheat, and I did not believe my girlfriends when they told me.”

And when it comes to her friendship with Snooki, JWoww states it is the real deal. “We talk every day,” she says of her friendship with the Snooks. “I spent Christmas Eve with her and her family, and that’s how we do. If I could take one thing out of the show, that would be a life-long friend.”

In other news, Sammi is now revealing the real reason she broke up with Ronnie on the show. Sammi pretty much confirms what we reported a while back, which is that she and her castmates were watching the Miami season 2 footage while filming season 3 back in Jersey.

“Yes, I was watching the Miami season,” Sammi reveals to the HollywoodLife. “It was the first time. So it was a little bit difficult going through that and actually seeing what happened.”

And despite making an early exit on season 3, Sammi says she will definitely be a part of the 4th season, set to film in Italy. “I am half Italian. I studied Italy in high school and in college,” she says. “The country is amazing!”

So is Sammi ready for another man in her life following her most recent January break up with Ronnie? “You never know!” is Sammi’s coy reply, though our bets are hedged on these two crazy kids getting back together by the time filming starts for season 4!
