Reza opened up about calling off the wedding on the Shahs of Sunset after show. “It was weird. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done but at the same time it was the right decision for me. I come from a broken home and I have a lot of reservations about getting married,” he admitted. “When I get married, I want to make sure there are no issues on the table and it’s for keeps.”
Adam had “no idea” Reza was going to call off their wedding in Thailand. “He literally thought we were getting married… like, we have plane tickets, we booked a hotel, we’re going overseas, we got a marriage license, we’re getting married,” said Reza. “It was not an option he thought was on the table. He was blind sided.” Why does Adam stay with Reza? (crickets) Anyone??
If I had the power to unsee one thing from the past week, I would choose Reza Farahan‘s bachelor party on Shahs of Sunset. Reza’s bestie and maid of honor, Mercedes “MJ” Javid, promised dirty and raunchy. She delivered. MJ took to her blog to defend the lecherous bachelor party.
“The bachelor party was exactly what Reza wanted and needed,” insisted MJ. “His turn up was real, and although I tease about ‘sex in the champagne room,’ I just wanted to make sure it a night that Reza would remember, and I didn’t want him to be bored or under whelmed. The craziest part was Reza during the drag show, taking over the stage in the middle of the performance. I think that we were borderline going to get jumped for disrupting the show, but he was like a little kid in Disneyland. He had no ill will, and there was actually an innocence about the shenanigans. I mean it.”
For comparison’s sake, part three of the season 6 reunion logged 4.29 million viewers and the season 6 average was 3.87 million viewers. While the decline is troublesome, IMHO, Real Housewives of Atlanta still brings more viewers to Bravo than the others in the franchise. Case in point: this week’s episode of Real Housewives of New York attracted just 1.385 million viewers.
The phrase ‘be careful what you wish for’ comes to my mind when I think of the Shahs of Sunset fans who wanted Lilly Ghalichi off the show. Because, Asifa Mirza. Asifa and her ex-husband/current boyfriend Bobby are exhausting.
On the after show, Bobby and Asifa shared the story behind their argument at Adam‘s bachelor party. Long story short, Asifa encouraged Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi and Bobby to be text buddies, but then Asifa lost her freaking mind when she found out that GG and Bobby texted about her. Like I said, they are exhausting. And then add GG‘s explosive temper into the mix. Oy vey.
This week on Shahs of Sunset, viewers had the misfortune of watching Adam Neely and Reza Farahan‘s bachelor parties. Reza summed up the contrast between the two parties nicely: Adam and his party guests “petted zebras” and Reza and his party guests “petted whores.” On the Shahs of Sunset after show, Asa Soltan Rahmati shared her thoughts on not being invited to Reza’s party, and Mercedes “MJ” Javid dished on Reza nearly getting jumped at his party.
Because there weren’t quite enough dysfunctional relationships on Shahs of Sunset, the powers that be added Asifa Mirza and Bobby Panahi to the cast for season four. Last week, Asifa was mad at Bobby because he didn’t buy her a birthday card to go with the diamond necklace he gave her.
“He knows after 7 years that this is the most important thing to me,” Asifa wrote in her blog. “I know he loves me very much, but he doesn’t listen well and doesn’t show interest in others’ happiness. These are things I hope he realizes and changes about himself.”
Prepare yourself for more Asifa and Bobby drama tonight. “Tune in to Shahs tonight and find out what’s been eating at me and why I’m so hurt by Bobby,” Asifa shared on Instagram. “Dr. Phil, we need your help. Relationships these days are not easy.” On his page, Bobby snarked, “Dr. Phil would quit his job if he even tried.” See the preview clip of this week’s fight below.
The reality TV viewer numbers are in and ready to be analyzed. Teen Mom OG saw its third increase in a row with 1.855 million tuning in this week. The mid-season finale of Dance Moms garnered 1.451 million viewers, bringing the season five average to 1.57 million viewers. For comparison’s sake, the season four finale attracted 1.619 million and the season average was 1.84 million.
