Even though everyone in the Southern Charm cast loves hating on Shep Rose, the man just keeps on thriving. Sure, he’s sleeping in until noon here and there, but it really seems like life is going his way these days, well, most days of his life in all honesty. Aside from being the only cast member to land his own spin off show, Shep is also the only one to get a part in a feature film.
There’s no word on how big Shep’s part is, but the movie stars Bruce Willis and Olivia Culpo, so the project sounds pretty legit to me.
In all honesty Southern Charm would be nothing without Kathryn Dennis. If Kathryn did not show up for Season 1, there is no chance that this show would have made it to a second season. Sure, most of the people in the cast ostracize her and refuse to accept her, but they should really just thank her for making the show what it is today.
Kathryn is the gift that keeps on giving. She never holds back and she doesn’t have a boring bone in her whole body.
If anyone is doing this reality TV thing right, it’s Danni Baird. She isn’t a full-time cast member on Southern Charm, but she gets to enjoy a lot of the perks and avoid a lot of the drawbacks. She has always been there, but the viewers don’t really know a ton about her.
Other than serving as a confidant to Kathryn Dennis, Danni wasn’t a major part of this season. Even so, she did faint in Key West from dehydration and she did reveal that she is now an engaged woman.
Aside from getting hate for (not) taking he bar exam, Craig Conover has also received a lot of flack for his relationship with Naomie Olindo. They even admitted to rough patch during the Southern Charm reunion, but they seem to be in a much better place these days.
Craig and Naomie discussed Landon Clements’ questionable tears over Kathryn Dennis at the reunion, Cameran Eubanks’future on the show after she has her baby, and whether or not they regret arguing in front of the reality TV cameras.
This season of Southern Charm hasn’t been the best look for Shep Rose, but even with his most dramatic season yet, there is still way more fan support for him than Landon Clements. So of course, Landon is thriving from Shep’s unflattering edit this year and she’s very adamant that we got to see “the real Shep.”
After Landon embarrassingly told Shep she loved him last year in an effort to create a story line and he turned her down, things have been awkward between them. Plus she gets so much hate for her role in the Thomas Ravenel and Kathryn Dennissaga, so hating on Shep is one way to detract from herself.
I’m not going to lie…I’m still kicking myself for not going to the Southern Charm Reunion viewing party hosted by Gentry bourbon last night, but alas my day job got in the way. At Gentry’s finale party, Shep and Craig were there to watch with fans, and there was even a guest appearance by Dale Earnhardt, Jr. What? I am a closet NASCAR fan. Only in the south, y’all! Of course, it may have been harder to watch with the cast before snarking on their ridiculous behavior, so perhaps it was for the best!
As last night’s conclusion begins, Kathryn Dennis is still on the rampage regarding perceived indiscretions between Thomas Raveneland Jennifer Snowden, and T-Rav is at the point of exploding. Kathryn then defends herself against the negative viewer reactions to her lunch with Jennifer while she sat like an ice queen glaring as Jennifer cried over her son’s health issues. Kathryn flips the switch and blames her assumption that Jennifer was using her tears to manipulate future editing of the scene. Jennifer is appalled that anyone would think she’d use her son for personal gain with plans, and it’s Kathryn’s turn to switch on the waterworks. Craig Conover reminds her that in rehab she probably learned she pushes people away as a defense mechanism. Yes, that’s right. Kathryn was in rehab. She’s on a journey. It’s about forgiveness talking about learning to do difficult things and realizing what battles are worth fighting. In case you’re wondering, grudges about handkerchiefs fall in the latter category.
