Big Brother

The Amazing Race kicked off the premier of it’s 16th edition last night, and there to compete for the $1 million grand prize was America’s favorite couple from Big BrotherJordan Lloyd and Jeff Schroeder.

The duo got off to a great start as they managed to come in first place after the first race to Chile. Though, the winners of the show will not be known for weeks to come, Jeff, 31, and Jordan, 22, open up about their Amazing Race experience in a new interview with PEOPLE.

The best news of all? The couple is still very much together and even credit their time on the Amazing Race for making them “stronger.”

Excerpts from their interview is below -

Were you fans of the Amazing Race before signing on?
Jordan: It’s kind of funny. I’ve been part of two reality shows and I had never watched either one before. I had to YouTube it, just like I did with Big Brother and figure out what everything meant, like ‘detour,’ ‘roadblock’, and all that other stuff.
Jeff: I had watched it a couple of times, but I wasn’t a die-hard fan.

Did your experience together on BB help you, or hurt you?
Jeff: I think it helped us, and played to our strengths. I’m sure that brothers and sisters, or mothers and daughters had issues after a week of being together non-stop. What was a strain on other teams was a positive for us; we didn’t have to worry about being together all of the time, we were already use to it.

Did traveling together put too much strain on you two, or do you think that it actually made you stronger?
Jeff: It was definitely a strain…
Jordan: (interrupting) I think it made us stronger!
Jeff: (laughs) Let me finish. It was definitely a strain on the relationship, but it definitely made us stronger. The fact that we went through the hard times that we did is a testament to our relationship. This show really pushed us to the max, and it was tough, but we’re still a couple, we’re still here, and it show’s a lot that we’re still together.

You two went from being locked in a house for three months with a bunch of lunatics to traversing 5 continents and eight countries in a race against other cutthroat teams. Are you two just gluttons for punishment?
Jeff: (laughs) No, but I look at it as an amazing story, how Jordan and I met, and how things have been working out between us. It’s definitely something to tell the grandkids type of story, and hopefully things keep working out the way they have, because as crazy as it’s been, it’s a serious relationship. I love the way things are and I wouldn’t trade it or change it for anything.

Big Brothers Jordan Lloyd, Jeff Schroeder The Amazing Race'

Great news Big Brother fans! Several reports reveal that Jeff Schroeder and Big Brother 11 winner, Jordan Lloyd, will both be appearing on the next season of The Amazing Race.

Witnesses spotted both Jeff and Jordan at the Los Angeles International Airport on Saturday with numerous other teams. Big Brother fan, Danielle Varey, was able to snap a picture of the couple at LAX and posted it to her Twitter account . As you can see, they’re dressed in the familiar Amazing Race uniform of color-coordinated shirts, sweats and backpacks. The photo is below.

Another confirmation is the fact that Jeff has yet to update his twitter account since the 22nd of November. We also reported back in October that both Jeff & Jordan confirmed they were officially a couple. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out on the new season of the Amazing Race.

CBS is not commenting on this story. The network says it will announce the full cast for the new season next year, closer to the show’s airdate.

Adam-Jasinski

In very shocking news, TMZ is reporting Adam Jasinski, winner of Big Brother 9, has been arrested in North Reading, MA for dealing drugs.

The report states that Adam used his $500,000 winnings from the 2008 game show to fund his oxycodone drug dealing business. He was arrested Saturday night by the DEA with 2,000 oxycodone pills in his possession during an attempted drug deal.

Even more shocking, Cops say Adam admitted to funding his illegal venture with his $500,000 winnings from the show. He’ll remain in police custody until his next hearing on Thursday.

Adam faces up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine.

Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd

Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd of Big Brother are officially a couple! The well liked and popular duo of BB11 have been inseparable since the show ended weeks ago. In a new interview with PEOPLE, they confirm their relationship status and discuss life out of the Big Brother house.

“Yes we are!” Jordan Lloyd, 23, tells PEOPLE when asked if she and Jeff, 30, are officially a couple. “We never really talked about it. It just kind of happened.”

“I liked her on the show, that was obvious,” says Jeff, “but after the show ended I liked her even more. I get in trouble when I say that, because Jordan is like, ‘You didn’t like me on the show, and now you like me!?’ but what I mean is that I like her even more now that I see who she is outside of the Big Brother house.”

Jordan has also kept her promise and bought her mom a home with part of her $500,000 earnings from winning the show. “Right after the show,” she says, “I got on the Internet, but I couldn’t find anything, and to make matters worse, my mom was being so picky. But I finally found something, and when my mom looked at it she fell in love with it!”

As for whether or not things have gotten intimate with the couple, or in Jordan’s words, whether or not “booger” is in their immediate future, Jordan says with a laugh, “I think he’s waited long enough.”

jordan-lloyd-big-brother

This season’s Big Brother was full of lots of drama- just the way we like it! The three contestants left to duke it out for the finale were Jordan Lloyd, Kevin Campbell and Natalie Martinez. Jordan and Kevin faced off in the final head of household competition. Surprisingly, Jordan won the competition and voted Kevin out, leaving her and Natalie as the final two.

The fate of Jordan and Natalie rested with the jury members comprising of Jessie, Lydia, Russell, Jeff, Michelle, Kevin and the viewers. The jury members asked a bunch of question that enabled them to make a decision.

The jury members voted and Jordan received the most votes from the show’s seven-member jury, which included viewer votes as the possibly tie-breaking seventh pick for the first time.

Jordan was served the $500,000 grand prize on “Big Brother 11.” The goofy 22-year-old waitress from Matthews, N.C., defeated Natalie, the conniving 24-year-old recent college graduate from Gilbert, Ariz., by 5 to 2 votes. Jeff Schroeder was chosen as the viewer’s favorite houseguest winning $25,000.

NataLIE has primarily spent the season deceiving other house guest. Her biggest lie was fooling most of the house guests into believing she was an 18-year-old recent high school grad.

The two-hour finale also featured the reunion of the 13-member cast — except for Chima Simone, the 33-year-old freelance journalist who was expelled after tossing a microphone into a whirlpool spa.

Jordan and Jeff were definitely our favorites on this season.

Big_Brother_Jeff_Schroeder

Jeff Schroeder is speaking out on his recent departure from Big Brother 11 in a new interview with People.  The  30 year old advertising salesman from Chicago, who also happens to be one of the dreamiest most liked houseguests in Big Brother history, answers the questions BB fans have been wondering about, such as why did he put his trust in Natalie and Kevin?

Jeff also talks about his future with houseguest Jordan.  Excerpts from his interview are below -

What happened to the kiss you promised to give Jordan?
There were a lot of emotions running through my head. Jordan was the first person that I grabbed and if she would have come with me to the door, I definitely would have [kissed her]. I didn’t leave the way that I wanted to. I wish I would have kissed Jordan and I wish I would have said more encouraging words to both Jordan and Michele.

Do you think you made the wrong choice by going after Russell and siding with Kevin and Natalie?
Everyone is confused about me “switching” sides from Russell to Kevin. There were no sides. It was me and Jordan in the end. I wanted to split Michele and Russell up because there was something cooking between them two, and I wanted to get the strongest player that was left in the house. I wouldn’t change anything that I did. I made the decisions and I put it all on my shoulders but if I had won the POV, I personally think that I would have won the game.

America gave you the coup d’etat, which you used to flip the game on its head. How shocked were you when they revealed it to you?
It was actually overwhelming and I don’t think I did a good enough job in thanking America for that because I was actually speechless. I was wishing for something the entire game and I felt like my back was to the wall and this was a gift from above. It was the best feeling in the world to know hat someone outside the game was on my side.

Who do you think has played the best game so far?
Hats off to Michele. She comes through in the clutch, she has big wins and proves herself time and time again. To this day I cannot figure her out, which is probably a really good quality to have in this game. The difference between Michele and Kevin is Michele bends the truth and Kevin is a straight out someone that cannot be trusted.

Is there a future for you and Jordan outside the BB house?
It’s hard to have a relationship on that show, in that house. I definitely want to maintain a close friendship with Jordan outside of the house and if something evolves from there, great. If it doesn’t, I don’t want to jeopardize the friendship that we have.

Who is going on your Hawaiian vacation with you?
Hawaii is still a question mark for me. Let’s just say that Jordan is on a very short list.

Russell-Kairouz

One of the most controversial houseguests in Big Brother history, Russell Kairouz, is speaking out about his time in the Big Brother house. The 24-year-old mixed martial artist was known for his in your face aggressive game play on BB. Russell touted himself as, “the best combination of intelligence, strength, and charisma.”

In a new interview with PEOPLE, Russell speaks out about who has played the best game so far, how a banana slipped him up and why he has no regrets. Below are excerpts from this interview -

Did you really think that you could flip Kevin and have him vote against Natalie?
Yes, I did think I could flip Kevin because I’m a stronger competitor than Natalie and I didn’t see why he wouldn’t have wanted me as an ally because she has not won anything.

Jeff has been solidly in control, but Kevin is coming along as the dark horse. Who has played the best game so far?
So far, Kevin is playing the best game. He’s stayed under the radar and has avoided all conflict.

What’s the singular moment where it all went horribly wrong for you?
There wasn’t a singular moment … I just didn’t win the OTEV Power of Veto … damn banana with Laura’s name on it. My game play was perfect up to that point.

Do you have any regrets about making Ronnie cry, threatening Jeff or verbally abusing Jordan?
Not at all. They all signed on the BB dotted line and knew what they were getting in to when they went into the BB house. If they don’t have a tough skin, that’s not my fault.

You had a noble purpose to win — you wanted to give the money to your parents. Do you think your mom and dad are proud of the way that you treated the women on the show?
I did not separate anyone on the show by race, gender or religion. Everyone was an equal game player in my mind and subject to the same game play from me. Anything that went on during the game was strategy and an attempt to use to my advantage … My persona on the show was a character [and ] in no way a true representation of me. My family is well aware of this.

What would you have done differently?
I would have withheld some information that I knew about people.

Who are you going to stay in contact with? why?
Jessie and Casey. They were my two closest relationships in the house.

You are joining Lydia and Jessie in their love nest that is the Jury house. How prepared are you to be the third wheel?
I’m ready to become the third wheel … I don’t have a strategy on how to manage the next few days, but it’s all good. I’ll be hiding my sweaters for sure.

Your mantra seems to be, “Either love me, or hate me.” Did that worked against you in the house, where slipping under the radar is often more effective?
Slipping under the radar only works for some people. My personality and stature … it doesn’t work … not a viable option.

How many people in the house ended up loving you and how many ended up hating you?
I don’t care who loved me, I came to make money … not friends. Having said that, I hold no grudge against anyone.

You told me that your strategy was, “I will charm to get my way. I will flirt with who I think I can get the most out of.” When were you planning on using either one of those?
You’ve seen the show, right? For a moment in time, it worked on Chima. Beyond that, it only worked at the beginning of the game to get Michele on my side.

Anything that went on during the game was strategy and an attempt to use to my advantage … My persona on the show was a character [and ] in no way a true representation of me. My family is well aware of this.

What would you have done differently?
I would have withheld some information that I knew about people.

Are you going to look Ronnie up and apologize to him and his wife at any point?
It was all part of the game … If they can’t separate true reality from a game, they should not enter the realm of BB where the game revolved around lying, cheating and deceit. I don’t know Ronnie’s wife … My comments were game-play.

Who are you going to stay in contact with? why?
Jessie and Casey. They were my two closest relationships in the house.

What did you learn about yourself in the house?
I learned that I have the ability to act as different characters in a stressful environment while simultaneously playing a game for 56 days, 24-7!

What was with the suits at the eviction ceremonies? You dressed each time like you were going to a funeral. Is that somehow strategy or vanity?
I have my own style … like it or not. I dressed on Thursday the way I did because I knew I was going home and was separating myself from the game.

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear “technotronic“?
Moron.

You are joining Lydia and Jessie in their love nest that is the Jury house. How prepared are you to be the third wheel?
I’m ready to become the third wheel … I don’t have a strategy on how to manage the next few days, but it’s all good. I’ll be hiding my sweaters for sure.

chima-simone

Chima Simone of Big Brother 11 is speaking out once again. This time she addresses the controversial and very racist remarks she made against Russell Kairouz while in the Big Brother house.

The derogatory remarks, as Chima calls it, included referring to Russell as a “muslim terrorist.” These racists comments were heard on more than one occasion on the Big Brother live feeds. Below is the full statement Chima gave to Hollyscoop, an entertainment blog she has worked for in the past -

“Upon recently leaving the Big Brother show this season I have been privy to many judgments and criticisms made of every aspect of my being ranging from things as trivial as my appearance to more egregious comments referring to me as a racist.

As a woman of color, I have experienced racism first hand. I know what it is to be discriminated against so I would never want to inflict that pain onto someone else. I will, however, always stand up for myself. Many of you perceive my resolute candor objectionable, but I have always been outspoken and will remain so. I will never apologize for my looks, personality, or straightforwardness.

Nonetheless, I am particularly sorry that my words disparaged the regard and respect that should be shown to all cultures, especially the Middle Eastern community in this time of great turmoil within our nations. In describing Russell’s abusive, bullying, and threatening actions towards me and other houseguests, I referred to him as a terrorist. I used a phrase that was insensitive given his Middle Eastern descent and I apologize to all who are justifiably offended with my use of that racially charged term.

My sentiments concerning his behavior, however, remain intact. I do not agree with his antagonistic rampages throughout the house. Russell constantly demoralized many of us on a consistent basis and his conduct was alarming, daunting, and terrifying.

Fortunately, for me, I do not have to be subjected to those tirades anymore. I am going on with my life in the real world. I wish the remaining BB housemates the best of luck!”

This is the second statement Chima has issued since leaving the Big Brother house. The first statement stated that she had quit the show, and was not evicted from the house by the producers.

Don’t think I’m buying Chima’s half apology, as she even manages to get some digs in against Russell. The sad thing about Chima is that by this time next week, she will be all but forgotten. The few times she is remembered will be in a very negative light. Her name, likeness, and being is forever ruined due to her own actions, and pathetic sense of entitlement.
