There are two episodes left of Teen Mom 2 season 5 – and we’re in for more of Nathan Griffith – in all his control freak and passive aggressive glory – bashing Barbara Evans and pressuring Jenelle Evans about getting custody of Jace. Because he thinks he’s God’s gift to parenting. In a preview of tonight’s episode, we see Jenelle come up with another reason why she doesn’t want custody of Jace: she’s worried her mother will feel lost without him.
Three minutes after Nathan and Jenelle started dating, they decided to start a family together. Why? Well, besides the obvious lack of maturity and brain cells, because they each lost custody of their first child so they wanted one to call their very own. Seven minutes after this brilliant plan was made, Nathan started to put pressure on Jenelle to “take Jace back” from Barbara.
Is MTV pulling the plug on Kail Lowry, Chelsea Houska, Leah Calvert, and Jenelle as promised? Yeah, NO. “Producers are getting ready for season 6,” a source revealed yesterday. “They are calling the girls to make sure everyone is on board.” Oh please, like any of them would say no to MTV money.
Homeschool and Farrah Abraham should never ever share the same thought… unless Farrah is the one being taught. So, when Farrah let it be known that her daughter, Sophia, started kindergarten via homeschooling, I was stunned into silence. The job required lies and delusions vaccination failed me that day.
Since then, the former Teen Mom star has shared more details about Sophia‘s homeschooling situation, and I am happy to report that Farrah is not Sophia’s sole teacher. Whew! And of course Farrah took this opportunity to suggest that Sophia is only as smart as she is because Farrah is such an amazing mother.
Reportedly, MTV decided to revive the series after the update specials, Being Maci, Being Amber, Being Farrah, and Being Catelynn, were well received by fans. So what happened to party girl Maci and cutie patootie Bentley‘s spinoff? Apparently, Maci did film with MTV, but the network decided against a regular series and turned the random footage into the Being Maci special.
Believe it or not, Teen Mom 2 won Wednesday night, with 1.553 million viewers. Also this week, 1.559 million watched the ALDC prepare for Nationals on Dance Moms and 1.018 million tolerated Josh Altman’s ego on Million Dollar Listing LA. In summary, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, and Teen Mom 2 ruled the cable ratings this week, and I don’t know whether to weep for our society or thank all of you for the job security.
Teen Mom 2 oompa loompa Leah Calvert is a mess. And I’m not talking about her hair and makeup this time. Financially… she’s a nightmare! And as we saw on Teen Mom 2 this week, Leah wants us to believe her money problems are Corey‘s fault. That didn’t go over well, so Leah took to Twitter to defend herself against the backlash from fans. It’s rich, err, no shade intended.
Perpetual victim Leah rewrites history like it’s her job, especially where Corey Simms is concerned, and I don’t trust a word that comes out of her mouth. Ever. If she had not wasted so much money on hair dye, a luxury washer and dryer, convenience foods, designer purses, and makeup, she’d have more money to go towards medical bills and household expenses.
Leah’slatest drama revolves around a new horse. Last year, Leah and Jeremy Calvert sold their home because it was not handicap accessible, which is understandable, and moved into an apartment until they found the perfect home. Leah set her sights on a ranch with horses for Ali‘s therapy – and I wouldn’t be shocked if she expects Corey‘s insurance to pay for it. #sarcasm
