Couples Therapy fail Juan Pablo and Nikki split

It’s official. Bachelor couple Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell have called it quits. I know you’re shocked. I feel it as well. Do you need a minute to collect your thoughts? I’ll wait.

In all seriousness… of course they broke up. One: the Bachelor sucks. Two: flippant Juan Pablo Galavis and insufferable Nikki Ferrel. Three: they turned to Dr. Jenn “FU” Berman for relationship advice. That’s three strikes.

Nikki ended the relationship because Juan Pablo “stopped putting any effort into the relationship” after their time on Couples Therapy. Meanwhile, Juan Pablo’s people were like, ess okay, because Juan was so over Nikki’s “childish antics” and “temper tantrums.”

The internet is abuzz with rumors that former Bachelor Juan Pablo and his winning lady, Nikki Ferrell, might have finally called it quits. All the hubbub stems from two vague social media posts.

Former soccer star Juan Pablo Galavis posted to Twitter on October 26: “Sometimes you WIN, sometimes you LOSE… You will ALWAYS learn…” Fans took this to signal the end of Juan Pablo and Nikki’s relationship. One Tweeter even asked: “so is it true u and Nikki broke up?” No answer so far, however, from the Season 18 Bachelor.

ESPY All-Star Celebrity Kickoff Party

Arie Luyendyk Jr, the runner-up on Emily Maynard’s season of the Bachelorette, has made it very clear that he wanted to be the next Bachelor. At the end of July, the 32-year-old race car driver tweeted, “No hiding it anymore!” Would love to share my journey with all of you, but it’s up to #bachelornation. Open, hopeful and more than ready.”

Well #bachelornation did not get the memo because Chris Soules is the new Bachelor and needless to say Arie is none-to-happy about it.

Bachelor in Paradise cast

Two months ago, ABC announced the cast of Bachelor in Paradise. But… shocker! They didn’t give us the full scoop. At the time, I agreed with Reality Steve, who said there were definitely more cast members to be revealed.

There simply weren’t enough of the Bachelor and Bachelorette fame whores we’ve all come to appreciate. Or something. Well, ABC has since revealed the entire cast list, as well as details on how the new reality show will work.

Per ABC: “Bachelor in Paradise begins with 14 former cast members, eight women and six men, who travel to beautiful Tulum, Mexico hoping to turn a potential summer fling into the real thing. However, in true Bachelor fashion, there is always a surprise.”

Bachelor in Paradise cast

ABC has announced the cast of Bachelor in Paradise – well, there are some familiar faces, though not as many old school Bachelor Pad fame whores as I was expecting, and some not-so-familiar faces. I honestly had to look up two of the "biggest stars" because I couldn't remember who they are.

Per the press release: "Some of Bachelor's biggest stars and villains are back. They all left the Bachelor or the Bachelorette with broken hearts, but now they know what it really takes to find love, and on Bachelor in Paradise they'll get a second chance to find their soul mates."

Is Chris Bukowski in love with this season Bachelorette or is he just in love with being on the Bachelor franchise? Despite what he says, I'm going to go with the latter. First, he was a contestant on Emily Maynard's season. Next, he made the rounds (literally) on Bachelor Pad. Now, Chris is garnering attention for crashing the first cocktail party of Andi Dorfman's season.

Claiming he camped outside the mansion for a week (I don't buy it, ABC), Chris Harrison announced upon Chris' arrival, "We have a party crasher. He's been on the show before." And I'm sure he'll be on it again. And again and again and again.

Bachelorette Andi

I'm glad to see that some things haven't changed. Former Bachelor Juan Pablo Galavis is still a pretty big douchebag. Don't tell me you're surprised! With the premiere of Bacherlorette Andi Dorfman's season next week, Juan Pablo is already vowing not to watch. Please.

Juan Pablo tells Life & Style, “I’ve never seen the show before. [On the Bachelor] I wanted to see what they put on TV and what they didn’t' In this case, I have nothing to see there.” He never saw the show? Sure. And keep blaming editing, buddy. That always works! While he's not a fan of the franchise, he does admit to appearing on the May 19th opener, sharing, “I gave [Andi] advice when she was announced, so you’ll see me on May 19 doing something.”

When asked if he'd be watching, he shrugs, "I doubt it." Give me a break.

22nd Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards

The Bachelorette is dealing with something the reality franchise has never head to deal with before — the tragic accidental death of contestant, Eric Hill, who is featured on the new season that has yet to air.

Bachelor and Bachelorette host, Chris Harrison spoke to People magazine about how they are dealing with his shocking death and what we can expect on this season, featuring assistant district attorney, Andi Dorfman.
