Desiree Hartsock Dishes On Her Upcoming Bachelorette Season; Plus Has Chris Harrison Found Love?

Who doesn't love to watch strangers meet, get whisked off to exotic locales, fall in love and ~~find fame~~ get married? It's a tried and true formula, and it almost always works…the fifteen minutes of fame, of course–not the marriage.

ABC's new Bachelorette is hoping that the show's odds are in her favor (or not in her favor…whichever makes her more likely to find a guy she actually likes) after failing to find love with Bachelor Sean Lowe. Desiree Hartsock, like all the other true believers before her, still thinks that the process can work. Sure.

Speaking of finding love, the shows' host, the dapper Chris Harrison, has apparently done just that. And not with me. Curses!

Bachelorette PHOTOS And BIOS: Meet Desiree Hartsock’s 25 Bachelors!

With just over a week until the premiere of season nine of the Bachelorette, ABC has released the photos and bios of the 25 bachelors vying for Desiree Hartsock's heart!

According to ABC's press release, Desiree, 27, longs to find a love like the one her parents share. "Married for 35 years, they've always supported and appreciated one another. Their values helped guide Desiree to become an industrious, passionate, and creative woman who is working hard to make her dreams come true."

"This spunky, athletic, and artistic woman is eagerly looking for a life filled with spontaneity, love, and laughter. And Desiree is positive, after falling in love [with Sean Lowe] on the Bachelor, that she can find her soul mate on the Bachelorette."

Desiree Hartsock Wants A Family Man; Bachelorette Promo Clip Reveals A Few Cheesy Entrances

Desiree Hartsock's season of the Bachelorette premieres in less than one month, and I, for one, cannot wait.

Two reasons: I much prefer the Bachelorette over the Bachelor. A house full of laid-back men is much more entertaining to me than a house full of catty women. Also, Emily Maynard made my head pound, so I feel gypped out of a season.

In a recent interview with People, Desiree talks about her parent's marriage, shares what she looks for in a partner, and touches on that very first night.

Desiree longs to find a love like the one her parents share. "My parents have been together for 40 years and married for 35," Desiree shares. "My dad has her back no matter what, and she's so affectionate to him. They act like they are 16."

Bachelorette Spoilers: Is Desiree Hartsock’s Front-runner Ready For Marriage?

Desiree Hartsock's season of the Bachelorette premieres in one month. In real time, Desiree has narrowed her pool of possible husbands down to three, though Reality Steve has already chosen the winner.

"From what I'm hearing, Desiree's choice in the end will not surprise anyone," Steve tweeted on April 17. "She's apparently known from early on who she liked the most." Steve went on to name the guy earlier this week; however, he also predicted a less than rosy future for Desiree.

Reality Steve's expert opinion is – you might want to sit down for this! – the guy that Desiree most likely chooses doesn't seem to be ready for – are you sitting down? – marriage! GASP! NO! SAY IT ISN'T SO!

First PHOTOS For Desiree Hartsock’s Season Of The Bachelorette!

Desiree Hartsock's season of The Bachelorette has been in the midst of filming.

ABC released the Desiree's promo photos for the season. ~~Nice Photoshop!~~ She is flashing a big smile and snuggling some roses, of course. Hopefully they're been de-thorned. Desiree's season has been given the vomit-inducing slogan "Her time to dream." And she apparently has some major struggles choosing the one, of course.

"I just can't even believe I'm here. And with the support of everyone? It's just such a blessing," Desiree gushed about being The Bachelorette. "I could have never imagined signing up for The Bachelor and having this opportunity. I'm just overcome with happiness."

Bachelor Pad Is “Not Happening” This Summer; Plus, Sneak Peek Of Desiree Hartsock’s First Date As Bachelorette!

Bad news for fans of the Bachelor Pad. The Bachelor Pad, the place where Bachelor and Bachelorette castoffs go to catch ~~diseases~~ 15 more minutes of fame and a ~~second~~ chance ~~at love~~ to win $250,000, will not air this summer.

Mike Fleiss, the mastermind behind all things Bachelor, nonchalantly tweeted the news. I'm kind of crushed, as Bachelor Pad is trashy summer TV at its finest, and I definitely need more of an explanation!

Reality Steve, the spoiler king behind all things Bachelor, weighed in on the issue. "Not surprised," Reality Steve tweeted. "Ratings good but didn't "fit" with ABC/Disney image."

Chris Harrison Dishes On Bachelor Sean Lowe’s Decision; Justin Bieber’s Mom Gets In On The Action!

It's no secret to any of you that I adore Bachelor host Chris Harrison. He's equal parts diplomatic, fatherly, and humorous. He doesn't mince words. He wears ties that could not be pulled off by the average gentleman. In fact, the only complaint I've ever had about Mr. Harrison was his lapse in judgment when he went out with Justin Bieber's mom (more on her later!). Chris is now speaking out Sean Lowe's engagement to Catherine Giudici and ABC's pick for Desiree Hartsock for the Bachelorette.

Chris even expresses his disdain for Sean choosing to do Dancing with the Stars because he believes people will perceive him as being a "famewhore" who didn't do the Bachelor for the right reasons. Remember what I said about him not mincing words? Love it! Meanwhile, The Biebs' mom Patti Mallette was live-tweeting all over the place during Monday night's broadcast…perhaps trying to pique the interest of a certain debonair host?

New DWTS’ Rumors! Will Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’s June Shannon Be In The Ballroom?

You have to love what constitutes a star these days…especially in the eyes of ABC execs when they are casting Dancing with the Stars. You can't really blame them though…when Lindsay Lohan turns down the show, it may be time to call it quits.

As always, rumors are swirling about who may foxtrotting across the ballroom. Some of the names being tossed around are more believable than others, and some would be pure television gold if the gossip proves to be true. Likewise, the speculation is often more exciting than the dancing itself. ABC's Bachelorette darling Emily Maynard's name has been thrown into the mix, as well as Here Comes Honey Boo Boo matriarch June Shannon. How amazing would that be?
