Sure, we all love our fair share of drama, but every now and then it’s nice to have some fun and share some happy news. If you’re looking for a fun teaser this weekend, be sure to check out our Labor Day Weekend blind items and share your guesses. Now, let’s take a break from all of the Dance Momsdrama and Housewives bickering and check out which of our favorite reality stars have gotten engaged this past week.
First up this week was one of our favorite Million Dollar Listing LA agents, David Parnes. It’s no secret that Parnes is head over heels for his lady, Adrian Abnosi, and he made it official by proposing recently while the couple visited Italy. And with a 4-carat, cushion-cut stone ring, how could Abnosi possibly say no?

It’s the franchise that never ends. When it first began a few hundred eligible, looking-for-love folks and thirteen years ago, viewers doubted the process. How can a guy (or gal) find their soulmate from a pool of twenty gorgeous hopefuls after only six weeks of fairy tale style, jet-setting dates? Now, we know the process is full of holes, but we take it for what it is. Mind numbing gold. The Bachelor and Bachelorette have morphed into a search for the next shiny couple who will find love, get engaged, fulfill their contractual obligations with ABC, quietly break-up (let’s face it, the track record for marriages is less than stellar) and then ditch their boring day jobs to pursue a life in the spotlight…usually on Dancing with the Stars. Throw in the sweet, yet rejected, fan favorite (to star in the next season, of course!), and a few certifiable creepers, and we’re still watching–guiltily loving every fabricated second. Plus, there’s Chris Harrison. What more could you want?
On the heels of Kailtyn Bristow’s turn as the Bachelorette and a rowdy run of castoffs returning to compete on Bachelor in Paradise, ABC has announced the lucky gent who will have women falling over themselves for that rose come January 2016. Congratulations, Ben Higgins!
When asked about Lifetime’s critically acclaimed scripted show UnREAL, which takes viewers behind the scenes of a The Bachelor-like reality show, Chris did not hold back. According to him, ABSOLUTELY NOBODY is watching UnREAL because it is DISRESPECTFUL and TERRIBLE.
Two months ago, ABC announced the cast of Bachelor in Paradise. But… shocker! They didn’t give us the full scoop. At the time, I agreed with Reality Steve, who said there were definitely more cast members to be revealed.
There simply weren’t enough of the Bachelorand Bachelorette fame whores we’ve all come to appreciate. Or something. Well, ABC has since revealed the entire cast list, as well as details on how the new reality show will work.
Per ABC: “Bachelor in Paradise begins with 14 former cast members, eight women and six men, who travel to beautiful Tulum, Mexico hoping to turn a potential summer fling into the real thing. However, in true Bachelor fashion, there is always a surprise.”
ABC has announced the cast ofBachelor in Paradise – well, there are some familiar faces, though not as many old schoolBachelor Pad fame whores as I was expecting, and some not-so-familiar faces. I honestly had to look up two of the "biggest stars" because I couldn't remember who they are.
Per the press release: "Some of Bachelor's biggest stars and villains are back. They all left theBachelor or theBachelorettewith broken hearts, but now they know what it really takes to find love, and on Bachelor in Paradise they'll get a second chance to find their soul mates."
Is Chris Bukowski in love with this season Bachelorette or is he just in love with being on the Bachelor franchise? Despite what he says, I'm going to go with the latter. First, he was a contestant on Emily Maynard's season. Next, he made the rounds (literally) on Bachelor Pad. Now, Chris is garnering attention for crashing the first cocktail party of Andi Dorfman's season.
Claiming he camped outside the mansion for a week (I don't buy it, ABC), Chris Harrison announced upon Chris' arrival, "We have a party crasher. He's been on the show before." And I'm sure he'll be on it again. And again and again and again.
I'm glad to see that some things haven't changed. Former BachelorJuan Pablo Galavis is still a pretty big douchebag. Don't tell me you're surprised! With the premiere of BacherloretteAndi Dorfman's season next week, Juan Pablo is already vowing not to watch. Please.
Juan Pablo tells Life & Style, “I’ve never seen the show before. [On the Bachelor] I wanted to see what they put on TV and what they didn’t' In this case, I have nothing to see there.” He never saw the show? Sure. And keep blaming editing, buddy. That always works! While he's not a fan of the franchise, he does admit to appearing on the May 19th opener, sharing, “I gave [Andi] advice when she was announced, so you’ll see me on May 19 doing something.”
When asked if he'd be watching, he shrugs, "I doubt it." Give me a break.
With less than a week until season ten of the Bachelorettekicks off, ABC has released the photos/bios of the 25 bachelors vying for Andi Dorfman's heart.
"Andi, 26, has it all at first glance – her loving family, her great friends, and her dream job [as an Assistant District Attorney]," said ABC. "But she realized there was something missing. So, last September, she put her busy life on hold to try and find love on the Bachelor. She thought she had found her match, but in the end it was not meant to be, and Andi walked away from Juan Pablo Galavis. Andi did not, however, let that experience stop her desire to find her perfect soul mate." The Bachelorette returns Monday, May 19.
AmongAndi's bachelors is Eric Hill, who passed away on April 23 following a paragliding accident. Season ten will be dedicated to Eric, andChris Harrison will honor him in an encore presentation of the premiere on Thursday, May 22. Mike Fleiss said about Eric, "We're all just devastated. He was such a vibrant young dude. He was. It's tragic."
