Could their be a new feud brewing on the upcoming season of The Hills? Well if you ask Audrina Patridge, that answer would be yes. Audrina appeared on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show recently, and when asked about her feelings towards Kristin Cavallari, she simply said, “I don’t like her.”
Audrina then confirmed the two had a fight the first day of filming bonus episodes of the MTV show. The rumor is that Kristin has been pursuing Patridge’s ex, Justin Bobby.
While Audrina would not reveal the details on what caused their drama, she did say, “When someone gets in my face, I have to defend myself. And, you guys, I mean, I can’t say much. They’ll show it, but I mean, all I have to say is, it’s really pathetic and desperate what people will do when the cameras are around.”
Audrina continues, “It was my birthday, and I was like, Oh, my God. Is this what we’re going to have to deal with?'”
I’m not sure why Audrina is so upset at Kristin, I mean Kristin is just doing what the Hills script called for right. Perhaps someone should send Audrina a memo letting her know the Hills stopped being “real” a few seasons ago.
As we reported earlier, Laguna Hill alumni and nemesis of Lauren Conrad, Kristin Cavallari is set to replace her on The Hills. Well it has now been officially confirmed. The 22-year old’s first appearance will be the May 31st season finale (she catches the bouquet at Heidi and Spencer’s wedding, natch), she is then set to appear in 10 episodes this fall.
Kristin says she is fully prepared to stir things up. “It’s a TV show,” she explains. “I’m not going into it like, ‘I’m going to make great friendships with these people.’ It’s work! And drama sells. I think that’s why they’re bringing me in, because I know what works.” Cavallari had plenty more to reveal in her exclusive interview with EW.
On why she’s coming back to reality TV: “The goal for me is to get my fans excited about me again. When I first started out, I had a celebrity name but I didn’t have the acting skills I have now. If I have some buzz with my name again, I feel like it will only help.”
On rumors that producers are plotting a romance between her and Justin Bobby (which The Hills producers deny): “I have no idea! [laughs] I don’t think MTV would be like, ‘Oh you’re dating him now. This is your boyfriend.’ But they might try and set up situations. I’m totally cool with that. Again, it’s a TV show and they need to make it entertaining.”
On how her version of TheHills will differ from Lauren’s: “I’m a completely different person than Lauren. I have a lot more energy. I’m more outgoing. I’m a little more spontaneous. And she has a boyfriend so she’s not dating on the show. I’m very open to dating and finding a guy.”
On introducing Heidi and Spencer: “It’s so funny. I guess it was 4 years ago. I was dating Brody [Jenner] and Spencer was Brody’s best friend. I had known Heidi when she was friends with Lauren when we were still filming Laguna Beach. Heidi was like, ‘Hook me up with someone. I wanna meet a guy.’ And Brody and I were kinda like, ‘Well, maybe Spencer?’ We’ll see what happens.’ So we all went on a double date and they just hit it off right away and now they’re married.”
So it’s safe to draw from this interview that the Hills is now completely fake, and the producers pretty much write all the story lines.
MTV is making certain their top rated “reality” show will be returning for another season, even without the star of the show aka Lauren Conrad.
The folks at MTV released the following statement – “Spencer and Heidi will be newlyweds, so the stakes are higher than ever before for the two to make things work,” adds MTV. “Viewers will find out life in Los Angeles only gets more complicated as friendships, relationships and loyalties are tested like never before.”
Returning next season will be Heidi Montag, Audrina Patridge, Spencer Pratt, Brody Jenner, Stephanie Pratt, Lo Bosworth, Justin Bobby and “fresh faces,” will be back, the network teases in a statement. It is rumored that one of the fresh new faces will be Laguna Beach alum Kristin Cavalleri will be one of the “new faces” next season.
The two douchebags known as Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag finally tied the knot this time. Despite faking a wedding last year, the two made sure this one was legitimate. TMZ reported the couple got a legit marriage license last week.
It is also reported that their Hills costar Lauren Conrad attended the wedding.
Alas! After years and years of denial, Spencer Pratt has finally admitted responsibility for spreading the sex tape rumors according to Lauren Conrad. At a Hills panel Tuesday in Hollywood, Lauren revealed that Spencer finally admitted that he was the one who spread the nasty rumors involving her and then boyfriend Jason Wahler.
“We actually have it on tape where he takes responsibility and apologizes for it,” says Lauren. “Sorry! Spoiler! Hey, four years, I waited for that!” Lauren also admits to being on more friendlier terms with both Spencer and Heidi these days saying, “We’re friendly, we can be in the same room.”
So will she be attending their wedding this weekend? “I think it was very nice of her to invite me, but I don’t think she expected me to come,” she said. We’ll take that as a big NO.
In what looks to be nothing short of a freak show, The Hills stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag met up with ousted Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich this week in LA to take promo pictures for NBC’s new reality show – I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
The attention whoring reality show couple have signed up to appear on the new reality show scheduled to air this summer. Ex-Governor Rod Blagojevich was also signed on for the show, but dropped out when a judge ruled earlier this week that he is not allowed to leave the country while still under investigation. He however for some reason still decided to fly out to LA to take promo pictures.
The show is set to premiere on NBC on June 1. It will involve dropping 10 celebrities into a Costa Rican jungle to face challenges and elimination.
The other “celebrities” signed on for the show include –
As the Hills might be coming to an end, Audrina continues to gear up for her own new reality show. She has teamed up with Survivor’s Mark Burnett and is now revealing details of her new show.
She tells PEOPLE, “It’s my life after The Hills, my journey. It’s going to be a little spicier, edgier, older.” The Hills had focused on her relationships with Lauren Conrad and sometimes boyfriend Justin Bobby, while her upcoming venture will offer up a closer look at her Hollywood lifestyle.
Audrina goes on to say, “There’s going to be new love, romances,” she promises. While she can’t say whether or not he [Justin Bobby] will appear on her show, there will be a resolution to their stormy union before the end of The Hills.
“It could resolve things in a good way or in a bad way. You’ll have to see,” she says. “But put it this way, I don’t really hold back. I just let it all out this season. I fight back.” Never knew Audrina was interesting enough to carry her own show, but if Whitney Port can, then so can anyone.
