Another day brings another American Idol judge casting rumor. This time, we have none other than Kanye West in the running for one of the empty seats at the table.
Reportedly the big wigs contacted Kanye to see if they stood any chance of landing him, and according to TMZ, he’s intrigued. He’s not 100% sure if it’s his thing and then there’s the little issue of money. Kanye wants to be paid the same amount as Mariah Carey ($18 million for those of you who forgot that staggering figure already), if not more!
Finally, the episode we’ve been waiting for all season–the last one! Last night was the season finale of the scripted train wreck that is Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.
Lil’ Scrappy goes to visit Erica Dixon, and she doesn’t trust him. Erica doesn’t think he can be loyal. He claims that Shay is a friend, but Erica knows she’s just a “slut bucket.” Loves it! She just wants them to be friends and be great co-parents to their daughter. Scrappy professes his love and apologizes for being “a little wild,” but he ultimately agrees that the pair needs to focus on their daughter. If they make it work down the road, he’ll be thrilled, but right now he can be patient.
In light of the domestic violence charges in the very brief wedding of Basketball Wives‘ stars Evelyn Lozada and Chad Ochocinco Johnson, Evelyn has cancelled all her upcoming publicity engagements. I can’t say I blame her. When the news of Chad’s abuse arrest became public, Evelyn filed for divorce, the couple’s wedding spin-off Ev & Ocho was pulled by VH1, and Chad was fired from the Dolphins. Probably not Chad’s best week, I’d say. What a d-bag.
The second half of Evelyn’s scheduled book tour to promote The Wives Association: Inner Circle has been put on hold, as well as several club public appearances. Evelyn will no longer be appearing alongside RHONJ‘s Teresa Giudice at a September book expo. Sidebar, can you imagine those two ladies together? Teresa flipping tables and Evelyn hurling bottles of Fabellini? Terrifying!
