Dolores Catania has been pretty ho-hum as a newbie cast member on Real Housewives of New Jersey this season. But when Dolores got riled up after Jacqueline Laurita lashed out at her this week, Teresa Giudice says she wasn’t necessarily surprised – not because it’s in Dolores’ nature to do so, but because Jacqueline was involved. And as we have seen, Jacqueline can push almost anyone to their breaking point!
Teresa reviews the calmer moments of the episode first, describing how she’s trying to support her daughters while hubby Joe Giudice is “away.” She reflects, “It was hard to see my daughters in pain and missing their father. I was upset that Joe was gone and couldn’t imagine what they were going through. As you saw, I tried to give them extra love, affection and attention — anything to help make things better for them.”
To be honest, I felt pretty blah about this current Real Housewives of New Jersey season. In my opinion, Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, and Jacqueline Laurita really brought their A game….and I’ll let you fill in the rest. But things did start to heat up once the battle lines were drawn after the crazy Vermont trip when Jacqueline came for both Melissa and Teresa. After all of that, I’m curious to see how the reunion went down.
Teresa recently described it as “pretty epic.” That’s saying a lot since the last few reunions seemed to be pretty tough for the notorious table flipper. It sounds like she felt like she won her battles, defended herself well, or something else positive. Hopefully it’s not a total love fest and she just put Jacqueline in her place. Nevertheless, I cannot wait to see how it all goes down and what Tre and the other ladies think about it.
Siggy had such potential when she first showed up on the scene immediately after a face lift while she drank lobster bisque through a straw, but she is trying to be a group therapist on a show with viewers who live for the fighting. It doesn’t line up for me. And not only that, but what is her story line? Aside from getting involved with other people’s lives, please tell me. Someone? Please.
Last night was the pre-finale for Real Housewives Of New Jersey. Since Jacqueline Laurita had laryngitis, she let Milinia do all the talking for her. Finally because at least Milania’s outbursts make a lot more sense! A silent Jacq is still deadly though… thank be the powers of the smart phone put into dumb hands.
Oh that Milania, I don’t care – I love her. Teresa Giudice acknowledges that Milania is not adjusting well to Juicy being “away.” And why should she? On Juicy’s first day in the slammer, Joe,Melissa Gorga, and the kids come over with sprinkle cookies Chinese food to check in on Teresa and the girls. They find Milania mouthing off all kinds of projecting, and Teresa is in a tailspin.
I was honestly a little offended that Jacqueline and any Housewife not named Teresa were so prominently featured during such a crucial episode, but I really couldn’t stomach it when Jacqueline was talking about how she was so upset seeing Joe and Teresa hug before he left. It didn’t seem authentic and it’s hard to follow her train of thought: does she love Teresa or hate her? I get that life isn’t that black and white, but it’s just such two extremes going from wanting to be BFF’s to constantly trashing her. And well, Teresa isn’t here for it.
